Hotels with beach in Bulgaria

Glad our hotel was at one end of the beach and not in the middle of all that. As others say, the beach bar is not part of AI

A wonderful hotel with plenty of pools for us to use unfortunately weather was not on our side so ended up in the indoor pool which was amazing, staff were very friendly and helpful could do with smiling a bit more though

Beach was across the road from the hotel did not use though in the height of the summer this area would very busy and wonderful, we made the best of what we had and had a fab time

This hotel was amazing the food was great and plenty of choice, staff were friendly and helpful although could smile more, rooms were lovely light and cheery and comfy

The area was lovely and we did some trips out which were fab even though it was the end of season, didn’t get to try out any of the outside pools but the indoor one was amazing

One thing that could’ve improved the bathroom would’ve been some Hand soap like there is in all the toilets outside the room I was wary about the food situation as I’m very fussy,but I have to say I ate extremely well during my stay,the main restaurant had so much to choose from,the staff in there worked very hard and are a credit to the hotel and the Blue Lagoon snack bar by the pool was very nice...

Rare combination of SPA, mneral water and beachfront location. Food delicious and Ukrainian staff was fantastic, kind and very helpful. Relaxed holiday, highly recommend

The hotel was great, but the beach where it is located is not very good, full of rocks. So if you are planning to swim in the sea, you have to go to another beach

Probably the best part is that the hotel is located exactly on the beach

Very clean, spacious and bright room, soulful spa. Breakfast is not very good.

As for the restorant, the personal there was nice and hard-working, the food was good, it was not the best food but there was a lot of things and we liked most of the food. I could have been more diverse but it was nice

We visited the hotel in July 2023. The rooms were really nice, we had great view however some things are old and not well-kept. The hotel has a really nice spa center with mineral water pools

Pretty nice place 👌 amazing view from the balcony, so get the 5 floor room. The breakfast is not amazing but there is a restaurant literally 100 meters in front of the hotel near the sea

We stayed in the Grand Hotel and Spa Primoretz for four nights in October, which is very definitely out of season, but our stay was no worse for that. The hotel is grand in setting as well as name

It sits inside the Sea Gardens, actually a large wooded area which stretches from the edge of the port north along the promenade to the start of the serviced beach area

The style is old-fashioned, the sort of old-fashioned that might have been old-fashioned when it was new. Predictable for the era in which the hotel was built but perhaps not for when it was renovated

Top hotel, has a very good interior. The rooms are furnished very nice. The actual hotel is huge and has many many rooms. If you consider whether to visit or not, do not hesitate

The public spaces of the hotel are spacious and well set out. We opted for a large double room which was in effect a suite size, 60 square metres and felt very relaxed as a result

And speaking of the beach, the toilet there was absolutely horrifying — one of the worst parts of the entire hotel experience. It was dirty, neglected, and far below any acceptable standard

Our stay in the hotel was absolutely pleasant, this was the best vacation we had. While the hotel base is questionably 5 stars, we enjoyed such peaceful and quiet stay that all minor flaws were easily omitted

The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, it was cleaned every day by a very nice lady, who changed towels and sheets every day and made small surprises for our good mood

The beach is a beauty, clean sand and water, perfect view and location. We enjoyed the entertainment for children and adults, especially the dancers

The food was very tasty and while some of the items were the same every day, we always found something new to taste. The Bulgarian corner was especially good, with very tasty cooked traditional food

The beach was also quite neglected — the sand was dirty, and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Worst of all, the water closest to the hotel had a strong sewage-like smell

Some guest leave towels on sunbeds to reserve them and in the morning when we get to the beach most of the umbrellas were "reserved" even though the beach was empty. Manegment should not allow this

The beach and sea was just a minute's walk through the gardens

Only problem you might encounter is that the toilet is in the shower, but it was not something disturbing. The food was good, but there were not so many options of meat. Anyway, everyday we got enough food to get full

The beach is small, but perfect because there are not so many people. Water was very warm (because of the Burgas golf) and the weather was also nice. I recommend this hotel and I would come back if I could

The only area that could be improved is the pool bar service, as the staff changes frequently and the new, younger team members can sometimes be a bit reserved and less customer-oriented at first

The beach is clean,very comfortable entrance to the sea with children. We live in room 602, with a slice of sea view. The hotel is quiet autumn, a Wake up service. Wifi works perfectly in the room

Near bus stop (2 minutes) and a good supermarket. Room cleaned daily, very clean. The air conditioning in the room works. The hotel has its own pool with free sunbeds for residents

Very tasty,always eggs,pasta, sausages, meats,sausages,vegetables very much,a variety of drinks,desserts and fruits. All the staff are very friendly

Other than that brill and it was so cheap we ended up eating out every night

I have read other reviews that say the staff are rude but that couldn't be further from the truth. I think the issue is the language barrier because the staff are all very polite when you speak with them

The room is just great, sometimes the truth were shortages of hot water. The room was a extra charge but we used it as a refrigerator. The hotel has a restaurant, which is just gorgeous cocktails

During the day the frozen Daquari's were absolutely amazing but as soon as 8pm came the bar staff seemed to pour half a bottle of Captain Morgans into one - one night in particular the tables outside were just full of abandoned Daquari's and we were laughing about this with the other guests 🙈🙈 The rooms are designed with quality in mind and all the fixtures, fittings, wall paper ect are high quality

We upgraded and stayed on the 7th floor the room, super big bed , gorgeous bathroom superb balcony with amazing view of the sea & beach,pool we spent alot of time using the balcony very quite & relaxing sipping wine, guzzling beer

The main restaurant is open multiple times during the day (closed for replenishment), there is a grill restaurant on the pool level also and there are sandwiches and cakes available from the coffee shop on the lobby level

Everything you need for a seaside vacation, peace and quiet. Excellent food, delicious Bulgarian food, something new every day: meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, juices, cheeses and sausages + sweets

Cons - Absolutely notholaena of the road territory, practically no flowers in the yard, the withered grass without watering,the staff was not informed about the own beach from the hotel and the possibility to borrow beach towels,the Bartenders took food with his hands after the money

Family I went with went here years ago and they remembered it was a much nicer place. Unfortunately our experience this summer wasn't the best. Definitely needs renovation, and it would be a great hotel

Very good service, the food was limited, but I liked it. The hotel is near a Lidl, if you need something, 8 minutes to the public beach, near Astor Garden Hotel

Went for a week's fly and flop holiday. Weather was amazing, not too hot. Hotel was tucked away at the end of Sunny Beach ***** so its a bit quieter than the rest of it

Hotel is different, but quirky but we liked it. All usual amenities, right on the beach, great pool and gardens. Plenty of choice, fresh and no need to go hungry. Could be little tastier but maybe that's just me

Alternatively it is a lovely strill or for those who need help there is the Neesebar Mobility services where you can hire a mobility scooter for approx £10 per day

Back to the hotel, Helena Sands is the beach side hotel (half board) with Helena Park behind it (all inclusive). The hotel is clean and tidy and well looked after. The rooms were of a generous size with free safe

Absolutely amazing, Quiet and relaxing holidays. And the best food you could ask for, we stayed for 1 week and every day there was something different. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

We stayed in the one bedroom appartment with sea view. The location was awesome, directly at the beach, close to the center. We liked the spacious room, the great view

The food wasn't diverse at all but I always found something to eat. The Blue Pearl could be really awesome with just a little bit more attention to the details

The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, which makes it perfect to enjoy both the pool and the sea with ease. The hotel is also very peaceful, ideal for families

We have stayed at Blue Pearl hotel for the last three years and every time our experience has been excellent. The hotel itself is fantastic, the rooms are spacious, beautifully kept, and many have wonderful sea views

There are always plenty of sun loungers available at any time of day – something you don’t often find elsewhere. What really makes this place special is the staff

They are always friendly, helpful, and nothing is ever too much trouble. I cannot praise the staff and management enough for how well the hotel is run. Without a doubt, we will be back again next year!

There is a huge problem: if you want to sit on the sunbed and umbrella on the beach (included in the price), you have to fight with the romanians…

Mobile coverage is excellent due to few cells installed on adjacent building. The beach is one of the nicest in Bulgaria, wide , long with very fine sand. The area is very quiet, perfect for good rest

The hotel is ok close to the sea, but they allow pets on the beach and rooms and restaurant, some are barking hysterical, it's annoying when trying to relax on the beach.

The hotel was great, the hotel was clean, organised and there was a wide range tasty food with a live grill every morning and dinner where they made pancakes for breakfast and roasted vegetables + meat for dinner

Hotel Nona is right on the beach in Albena. The hotel is designed in a way that almost all room have sea view. Food and drinks included in all inclusive packages were decent. Broadband was good speed as well

Everything was wonderful, beginning with the food, location, the beach, etc. Housekeeping is dilligent ensuring rooms remain spotless throughout the stay.

Great place, good entertainment and fantastic bar staff and during the day a relaxed pool area with a well stocked bar; day time food is high quality and the staff all are masked up in the kitchen.

The hotel is nice, but not clean enough for my taste. The room has a special design, but there are a few stains on the carpet and the curtain, and even a candy wrapper under the sofa

They have indoor pool, outside and anso the beach. Employees very kind and smiling all the time

Although we were supposed to have a park view, we actually had a view of a rooftop. I liked the hotel’s pools and beach

We have been in the hotel with my family at the beginning of september(2 children). Clean, nice, well equiped hotel with a lot of stuff for children. Great restaurants with really good prices and quality

Our hotelroom was great with direct acces to the pool. It was open, clean, great breakfast buffet and great location. The staff in the reception on the other hand could be more open and forthcoming

Security Guard sits on the Beach access point & the Pool Lifeguard really needs a personality transplant. If he won the £200M Lotto Jackpot he would not smile ! Blunt & miserable chap

I had a wonderful stay at Effect Grand Victoria Hotel. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms, a great atmosphere, and excellent amenities

The location is perfect close to the beach and everything you might need. What truly made my experience special was the outstanding service

The cocktails at the bar were also very good and added to the overall enjoyable experience. We were especially impressed by the themed evenings – they were diverse and well organized

In addition to the main restaurant, we really enjoyed the food at the pool bar – there was a great variety of pizzas, burgers, salads, and doner wraps, all of which were very tasty

The man that gave out the towels was much more informative and really helpful. He always said good morning etc and passed the time of day with you no matter how busy he was

This hotel is suitable for families with children. Beautiful beach, wonderful smooth entry into the sea

Hotel is in a fantastic location even though it is quiet. On check in the reception staff were not very helpful as to where the room was etc and not very informative as to how to get to places etc outside of the hotel

The Nessebar ferry leaves from the hotels beach but none of the reception staff knew or would say how to get to the jetty or the price of it even though they advertise the ferry within the hotel

The beach itself is lovely but like every other review you have to pay for use of the umbrella and sunbeds separately. Very poor for ultra all inclusive

The bathroom was not cleaned as often as it should have been, rarely did we have towels changed

Reserved beach area with a second small bar

We visited the hotel in mid-September. Room 332 was in perfect condition with no mold, no stains, no defects. The staff was very professional, helpful, and friendly. The cleaning ladies did a great job every day

The location for us was great, about halfway between sunny beach strip and Nessebar, very easy to get the bus with multiple bus stops near the hotel and only 2lev each way, there is also a mini tourist train which takes you to each place too 7lev each way

The bed was very comfortable and was nice to have a thin duvet rather than just a sheet you would normally get abroad. The food was good with variety each day and allergies were stated clearly

The only thing I would say is there aren’t a lot of sun loungers and people would reserve them by 7am each day which should be monitored, and both the indoor and outdoor pool are quite deep 1

6 metres all the way round which isn’t inclusive of people with different swimming abilities. All in all had a fantastic holiday and would definitely book with this hotel again!

Cons: - Lack of umbrellas by the sea for all guests, need to take them before breakfast. - Lack of sunbeds by the pool, also need to be taken in time

The only problem I have here was Sozopol the city its little far the rest is good the boss is very kind person, the food is good, the beach is good ,the staff specially in reception is amazing, the swimming pool is clean , our room was regularly clean I think is pretty good for Bulgaria

00 everything is "reserved" with towels thrown on the sun loungers. There is no one to follow up on this. The food is nothing special, sometimes old. The restaurant is also small for the number of guests

A praised hotel that does not live up to its stars. The capacity does not correspond to the number of guests, the parking lot is full, there are also no places on the beach

The beach is lovely, and most of the time it felt like my husband and I had it all to ourselves. The only downside was that most of the staff seemed rather serious and rarely smiled

They were efficient and professional, but not very warm. The exception was a lovely lady at reception with long black hair — she was always friendly and smiling, which made a real difference

It’s worth noting that in the off-season, the whole resort feels a bit like a ghost town. Almost everything is closed, only one small shop was open (with quite high prices), and there were no buses running

We stayed at the Flamingo Grand in Albena and were very impressed by how beautiful and spotless the hotel is. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained

The food was amazing — fresh, delicious, and with plenty of choice at every meal. At this time of year, the hotel was very quiet, which made our stay peaceful and relaxing

By the end of our first week we seen them more as friends than staff, we had such a great laugh with them and they are both and absolute credit to the hotel 🙏🏼 There is a local shop just outside the front doors to the hotel, the gentleman in the shop was so friendly and kind, he went out his way to buy stuff that we liked and stocked his shop with it

This was end of season holiday for us and we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and high standard the hotel was and the service was fantastic

Only downside was the swimming pools were too cold to swimming and the sea too, but we still sunbed on the beach which was fantastic

It’s in a really pretty area surrounded by trees and it was very quiet when we went in October but we would definitely be back fantastic beach front location highly recommended and a good standard to with stunning views and a short distance from the airport

The rooms overlook the beach right on the beach no walking distance and the food and drink was gorgeous so much to choose from And the cocktails were made especially for us at the bar and the spirits are incredibly strong

I enjoyed it, clean beaches and nice pools. In the balcon the view is amazing. The food is good and the place for games is really fun

there is a variety of service for different budget, the therapist is good, there is always fresh towels available, the saunas were good

Spacious room, spectacular view, warm welcome, very nice SPA center and swimming pool with hot mineral water. Conference hall and options for a nice coffee break. You can easily visit the city of Varna during your stay

I have been here before and I had excellent time, so I decided to return. Although I was on my own, I didn’t feel alone , everybody was very welcome and I always had somebody that I can have a chat with

I used all-inclusive for breakfast lunch and dinner -food is absolutely outstanding. You could also have wine either white red or rosé or two different kinds of beer that was part of the all-inclusive

Perfect retreat, first line beach location, helpful staff 👌, balneo, and mineral water treatment, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, massage and spa facilities, etc. Definitely recommend 👌 !

Not only is the overall atmosphere nice but especially the pools and sauna overlooking g the sea make you feel truly relaxed. The outdoor pool wiyh mineral water was nice in the cold weather

Another big plus was the restaurant: they serve the best espresso I’ve had in a hotel, really worth mentioning! While I wouldn’t rate it 4 stars due to the age of the hotel, it’s definitely a solid 3-star stay with excellent service, great coffee, and unforgettable sea views

Although I have travelled to many lovely places, this is my favourite hotel. It has the privilege of being situated next to Queen Maria' s castle and garden. Every room has an incredible sea view and a great design

We got a room with a direct view to the sea, we drank our coffee there watching the sunrise and slept with the window open listening to the waves. We had an excellent sleep here

All the members of the staff have been. very polite , helpful and respectful. We gladly and warmfully recommend this wonderful hotel. Please accept our congretulations

We stayed here for 1 night in October 2025. Location is super convenient for visiting Balchik, and the staff at the reception and breakfast area were super nice
