Hotels on first line in Golden Sands

Everything was very nice, we had a great time! The food was delicious and with a great variety. The staff was friendly, the room very spacious and clean. The pools and water slides are also great! Thanks

Fantastic for the kids (sides, pools, animation / kids club, trampolines etc), great beach nearby. However service, cleanliness of the property, food/service was okay

Very nice and clean hotel, about 300 m from the beach, good food (the best vegetable cream soup I've had so far!) and diverse

We would not return due to how crowded everything was - difficult to walk through Pool lounges, dinning areas, reception etc. Felt like sardines crammed into a small space most of the time

There is also a very nice outdoor playground and entertainers for children. Very good price-quality ratio!

The rooms are very modern and clean. Many facilities, beachfront with the hotel own swimming pool between the hotel and the hotel private beach. Food was outstanding and diverse

People come there to enjoy the sea and the beach, but they are not provided a place to do that!! We supposed that an ultra all inclusive package will include all services with no extra cost

The prices in the Café are a bit overpriced, but considering the high season, it could be acceptable. The clean level is high as well. Thanks to all staff that keeps Admiral on high level for holidays

Looks amazing and it's very close to the beach, which makes it very attractive.

The hotel can acomodate a huge number of people, but there are not enough sunbeds, so you have to chase a place with a big chance to not finding one at 8 am in the morning

From June 12-21, 2022 we rested in this hotel. Its most important advantage is its walking distance to the sea. Comfortable sun loungers, umbrellas

30 for breakfast, then there’s nowhere and nothing to eat later. The lobby bar in our building worked only from 10. 30 and in the evening we had to go to building A and stand in huge queues to get something to drink

In the centre of Golden Sands. Cons: the elevators always need to wait long, the bathroom is clearly 5 stars falls short

It has a spa and massage centre. The room was big and modern and nicely furnished. The Tv is small and obsolete with no casting options, so you can't stream from your phone. Overall, cleanliness is everywhere

I love it! The location is very well located, in the middle of the tourist resort. Nearby, there are a lot of beach bars and funny places with games for all ages. The hotel has a casino on the ground floor

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms are big and it offers you all what you need

When you are paying about 10 euros for 100mil, you expect to get a proper drink, not something diluted with water. At least the bar manager took it out of the bill

The room are clean and are more than ok ! The animation staff are really friendly and make good job, but the barkeepers are really unfriendly, never see such unfriendly people ! The meal aren't good, happy come back home or eat out of the hotel

The hotel met our requirements, every drink in the bar was included in our ultra all inclusive price (even imported drinks), the staff was friendly (most of the time), rooms were cleaned every day etc

The foods' quality didn't meet our standards. This must be because of our family's eating habits as others had good opinions about the food. I would recommend Hotel Atlas for everyone

Another thing is that they allowed a group of tourists to play loud manele on their wifi speaker. That was awfully! We stayed at the pool only one day because of this problems

There are 70-100 meters to the sea, you need to cross the road. The beach has paid sunbeds and umbrellas, but there is plenty of free space. You can calmly lie down on your mat right next to the sea

The housekeeper was really nice and they made everyday something from the towels that surprised us. The food was good and variated. The big inconvenience is that the hotel has no private beach

There are changing cabins!! For shopping lovers there is a promenade with stalls. To Varna bus number 9 every hour. The shore is flat, the sand is good, the seagulls are impudent

The first one is that the personal at the pool allowed tourists with drinks in the pool, and they allowed the tourists to make fun of the animation team

The first time was just great. The second time We have some differences from whatever was in the initial offer as sea view room. It was replaced with bigger apartment , half sea view and 2 floors in foot

- housekeeping doing a very good job with daily cleaning and changing towels - despite all the comments below that scared me before going there food was delicious - a lot of options from a bunch of salads, veggies, meats, barbecue for lunch and dinner with different meats daily, pancakes in the morning

-10 sunbeds on the beach - huge con if you come for the sand and the sea - gym - very old , not sure anyone worked out there during my stay - for those minding exercising or climbing stairs: around 50 stair climb from the beach to the hotel All in all pleasant experience with good food, had a good time with my friends

we really liked our stay at the hotel, the food was very good, the staff were polite, the rooms were not that big but they were clean, the beach was close but the hotel does not have a private beach, you have to pay for it, we liked the animation team a lot Krisi, Marti and Jani were very good, Marti was very good at ping pong, most of the time it rained, but they lifted our spirits and had nice parties

Great facilities, spacious rooms, friendly service! Yes, I had to walk down to the beach, bit I was able to enjoy the great sunrises on my balcony! Very happy, can only recommend!

The comments bellow from fellow Romanians with "only 2 types of soup", and "food different than in Romania" - you are not at your mother's house, but in Bulgaria - different country with different food ;)

The hotel was quiet due to it being the end of their season which meant a lot of the local shops, bars and restaurants has closed (no fault of the hotel, we didn’t do our research and assumed the season would continue into October - something to be mindful of if you’re booking in 2024)

Only negative experienced were the cleaners were slightly rude and staff weren’t always at the bar around the pool, we imagine this was down to it being out of season

Great hotel very modern and clean and fresh not a very old building. I stayed there because the hotel next door had booked me in but was closing for the season mid week

Even with it being quiet we felt extremely safe strolling around. Down by the beachfront there are some lovely shops and bars, it’s a lovely easy stroll

😊 The food on the bufet was cold and no taste. The chef made a bad comment saying that romanians eating to much. of course if the food is not good you need to try something else. On the end was a bad EXPERIENCE

The pool and the atmosphere of the pool is also great for kids and families. I believe this hotel could be better managed to get up there to 4 stars. You can tell the lack of staff in some points of your stay

The pool with water slides is really great for kids, except it was off for some reason in the middle of the day. Water is much colder than in the other outdoor pools. Beach- that is one of 2 massive disappointments

No respect from other hotel visitors and they do not care that you have waited there before them for the shuttle. Umbrellas and beach beds are limited and difficult to get one

But it felt like child was sleeping on bare wood it was impossible to sleep on it. Air conditioning worked well. Room allegedly was cleaned on a daily basis, unless you would leave a sign advising to not disturb

Needles to say we did not return to that beach in the 9 days that we stayed. We resorted to paying extra money for a private beach that had no stones and was within a relatively short walk from the beach

However after 3 or 4 days there was significant amount of sand across the floor from beach and I noticed that while towels were changed and beds done, floors were not hoovered of mopped

Check in was smooth, we were I formed how to locate our room, wi fi log in, info about possibility to book in Greek/Bulgarian themed dinner, advised of gym and spa service, advised of the shuttle bus

I have just one word PERFECT! 1. We had an issue with the shower door the water from the shower was pouring under it, floding the bathroom. I went at the reception asking for a fix

she called a cleaning man to clean the water and then came a tehnician to "fix" the problem, that said to put towels on the floor and call everytime a cleaning men ( wich buy the way yo have a policy to not do that writen on the bathroom wall) it was very rude

The next day I went a second time to the reception there were other girls, much more willing to fix the problem and more nice. In the afternoon it came another tehnician and solved the probleme easily

While some dishes stand out more than others, there’s always something suitable for everyone. It reminded me a bit of our stay at the Barut Acanthus Hotel in Side, though on a slightly simpler scale

We are looking forward to seeing how the 2nd week goes. Update from 2nd week: Overall our stay was very positive. The indoor pool was nice and warm for the kids, especially for the colder days

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel .the staff was incredibly friendly, and always ready to help. The room was comfortable. We will absolutely stay here again.

Incredible! The Hotel is beautiful, food is really great and the location is fantastic! The sea is right across the street, so you have to go just about you the road and the sea

fast check in and check out. Nice shower with good warer pressure. gym was big and aircondicioned. Food was good, enough to choose from. Staff was superfast to clean your table, sometimes even too fast

would prefer a coffee machine to get my own coffee. ( 4th floor, oceanview) could not hear neighbours, but sometimes people talking in the hallway only. Internet was working really fast without problems

Loud music, from a nearby venue was heard in our room, booming out until midnight. None of this the fault of the hotel. Situated a short walk to the beach the location was spot on

the biggest plus: it is located 20m from the beach and it is cheap. there are at most 15 parking spots for 14 floors x 12 rooms! call to reserve a spot

Breakfast was good both in quality and quantity but dinner could be a bit hit and miss. No other British tourists to be seen at the resort of Golden Sands, mainly Bulgarian, Romanian and German

Pity about the neon advertising board on top of the Lighthouse Steakhouse opposite which continued twenty four hours, day and night shining its light onto the balcony

30 in the morning and were surprised to be given a trolley load of food kept chilled and wrapped up, a very thoughtful gesture. As for entertainment going in early May means the season hasn't officially started

We have now been to this hotel 4 times. Twice a year our ladies group meet there foŕ a get together 35 this time. We have always found the rooms very very clean

I can't say if there is any live entertainment put on when the main season starts as not been at that time of year. Food is plentiful and a good variety, something for everyone

Has a diversity of desserts thru the week. The best thing its that it varies from day to day. The pool is also a great service to use. It's so clean and it has a thermal control

This hotel is large and in a great position, being so close to the beach and having a great view of the sea. However, that's as far as it goes

The hotel is excellent, the sea is wonderful, the food is excellent. There was a very large selection of food.

I was in this place for a couple of days and I had great experience. I had a lot of fun with the amazing animation team, which I admire truly. The girls were amazing!! We would love to see them again

The restaurant's food is incredibly tasty every day, but it would be desirable. The hotel is an old one and some equipment in the rooms and in other places that require it should already be changed

But the most fun in my experience here were the animators, who are very dedicated to their work, they will never leave you busy, you will always have something to learn from them

All i can say for my 4 days in this hotel is that the Animation team was incredible, we had i lot of fun with the, diverse activities.I will mention Kris and Alex for the fantastic work they did to animate the tourist!!!

The hotel is large, but neat and clean. The room, bathroom and balcony are large and spacious. There was a great view of the sea. There are 3 restaurants: Asian, Italian and casual cuisine

The food is for everyone’s taste, at dinner we could book a table every day at the Italian and Asian restaurant, where you can find different types of food compare tot the main restaurant and the advantage that I personally liked was that it wasn’t crowded as in the main restaurant

Pools kind of crowded, lots of kids. Restaurants, crowded, but passable, you sometimes need to wait in line like a minute. Usually more, for (passable) coffee

The beverages were ok, tastable. The room was very clean, they cleaned the room every day and change the sheets one time in our staying(5 days). Also, they would bring water and bath supplies every day to refill the room

Very nice hotel. The kitchen is great, thanks to the chef! Me, my wife, 2 young children are very happy. Great animation, Dayan is a real showman! Very cool sea view from the room, the whole panorama of the Golden Sands!

We traveled as a group of 20 people and had a fantastic stay. The rooms were excellent – renovated, spacious, and well-equipped (fridge, kettle, TV, air conditioning)

We stayed mostly on the pools as they have 3 on one side and a 4th one on the other side of the hotel which is called relax pool and it's really quite there. And a 5th one that is covered if the weather is bad

Bathrooms came with a full set of toiletries, which was a nice touch. The facilities make it easy to enjoy your time even on rainy days, thanks to the indoor pool and spa

Morning games by the pool, fun activities for the kids, and amazing evening shows — they managed to keep everyone, young and old, entertained

Even small requests were handled quickly by the team. The beach is close by and they have a shuttle for the people that don't want to walk

Boian and Vanessa from the beach bar, they were extremely friendly, very fun to talk and spend time with, and very helpful. The stay in Sentido was a great stay because of them

Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by warm, friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable

Once again, we trusted Sentido Marea for our family holiday. And it was the best choice for us! Always clean and everywhere- around the pool, on the beach, in the rooms and around the common areas

Another minus is the parking lot which is 2 km away and it cost 20 leva/ day only with cash. Otherwise the beach and water are nice and clean with toilets and showers

The location is the best of them all,very close from the beach

Beer is fresh and cold always, bartenders are young and friendly, good ice cream. All the rooms have sea view and is very nice. 2 minutes from the hotel entrance to the beach

The rooms are really spacious and have everything you need. The hotel it is right on the beach, inside a pine forrest, part of a group of HVD hotels. So, it is safe to walk around into the park

Beach towels program is short in my opinion, 9-11 and 17-19. CHECK IN AFTER 15 - very late. Didn't like the toilet leaking, it was not very efficient so a lot of water waste

I appreciate that they are not wasting food only for opulence like they do in Turkey. Food is various, there are several options even for vegetarians or for those who prefer healthy food, but not exagerated

Food is good, on all the tastes. yhe the drinks were quality, not some low quality. Now let's talk about some aspects, the refill of the minibar was done only ones after I've complained several times

I am writing the negative comments because I believe that it can be improved and because we have enjoyed the overall experience and we will be back next year
