I had a different room from the first one but the situation of this second room is very similar to the first room so see my other review for more information. This room is in a traditional quadrangle courtyard (Siheyuan), and it's very spacious, quite large actually. The only thing is that it's a bit old, and the facilities are also a bit dated. Other than that, everything else is pretty good, and the service attitude is excellent.

The location is fantastic! At the end of the hutong, you'll find the Red Star Erguotou Museum and Qianmen Street. It's only about a hundred meters from Dashilar Main Street and the Yuzhikou food area. Since it's an old courtyard house, the rooms are fully equipped, and although there's no central heating, there are electric heaters and air conditioning.

This is a charming hotel in an old building that used to be a post office. Very helpful and friendly staff. It's just off the very busy Qianmen pedestrian street with dozens of cafes, restaurants and other shops nearby. Close to Qianmen and Zhou Shi Kou metro stations and just a short walk or bike ride to Tiananmen Square or the Temple of Heaven.

The old Harbin Office in Beijing is too old-fashioned. I don't know why its business is so good. Not far away is the Yuetan Park. If you go there at night, the moon is really right above your head. It's magical. The Forbidden City is also not far away.
