Renaissance Suzhou Hotel

Suzhou, 229 West Suzhou Ave (60 min from centre) 🧭

3 min Tsentralnyy Park

Excellent location with a great breakfast and attentive service. It's definitely a top choice if you're looking for a hotel near the industrial park and exhibition center. The executive lounge was also a nice touch. Overall, a really good experience!

The twin room was very spacious, with two 1.4m beds. The service was standard for a five-star hotel. Breakfast was excellent and extensive, featuring congee cooked to order, freshly made noodles, fried eggs, and a variety of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Western dishes.

Lovely room and lounge. The staff was kind and warm, accommodating our needs

The warmest surprise during my trip to Suzhou came from Harlan at Renaissance Suzhou Taihu Lake, who not only checked me in quickly but also thoughtfully reminded me about the executive lounge's evening snacks. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at the Renaissance Suzhou Hotel and have to give a special shout-out to Harlan! He was genuinely friendly and professional, handling check-in smoothly and efficiently with great attention to detail. He even thoughtfully provided tips on local transportation and dining. The hotel itself is elegant and spotless, offering a peaceful and comfortable environment. The attention to detail...

Fantastic! Great value for money, and it even included a buffet dinner. Our butler, Doris, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The subway is just across Central Park, only a few hundred meters away, so it's not far at all and perfectly bypasses ground traffic congestion.

Mercure Suzhou Jinji Lake

Suzhou, No 72 Xindu Street (60 min from centre) 🧭

5 min Tsentralnyy Park

Great! Excellent! Wonderful! Amazing! So good! Fantastic! Superb! Awesome! Marvelous! Terrific! Brilliant! Outstanding! Fabulous! Splendid! Top-notch! First-rate! Very good! Highly recommended!

The room was clean and comfortable, with excellent soundproofing making it super quiet. The air conditioning was powerful, and the shower had great water pressure and temperature. The hotel has a business-oriented feel, which comes across as upscale and stylish. The front desk service was also very attentive. Honestly, it's hard to find any faults from check-in to check-out. The only downside was that...

The hotel was clean, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quite spacious. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

This hotel is located near Jinji Lake and has comfortable decor. It's easily accessible by car, making it great for family trips. Remember to call ahead with your license plate number when checking out.

I really appreciated the reliable hardware facilities and the discreet service. The soundproofing was excellent, and the smart toilet with bidet function was a definite highlight. The fact that breakfast starts at 6:30 AM was also a huge plus.

The hotel's location is excellent, right near Jinji Lake, making it super convenient for getting around. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The front desk lady, Xiao Hu, was really nice, gentle, and patient, providing amazing service. The breakfast was also fantastic! I usually don't eat breakfast, haha, but ever since I stayed at Mercure, I've wanted to go downstairs for breakfast every...

Courtyard by Marriott Hotel

Suzhou, No. 188 Xinghai Street (5 km from centre) 🧭

13 min Tsentralnyy Park

This is an established hotel with excellent service and a great environment, truly living up to the Marriott brand. The hotel isn't right on Jinji Lake, so even the executive room price isn't expensive. It's actually only a 15-minute walk to Jinji Lake, and with the executive lounge benefits, it offers fantastic value for money. I'm deducting 0.5 points because the hotel opened a while ago, and the...

The bed was too soft! It's an old hotel, but its location is a definite plus! It's very close to the subway station, the room was clean, and the Suzhou-style noodles for breakfast were delicious, plus they had doufuna!

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly, proactively greeting guests upon arrival. When we requested housekeeping for the next day, they made sure to ask multiple times about the areas we wanted focused on, showing excellent service awareness.

Great service and clean rooms! The location is fantastic, right by the Gate of the Orient, and parking is convenient. Breakfast was good too. While the room decor is a bit dated, the price is very reasonable, offering excellent value for money.

The room was very clean and had a quality feel to it. The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the Gate of the Orient. Downstairs, there's a subway station, an English restaurant, and a Mexican restaurant. I stayed here for a business trip last time, and this time I brought my child. It's a peaceful oasis in the CBD, really great. The hotel's breakfast is also quite famous.

Great location, convenient for getting anywhere. As a member, I received free breakfast for my child, and all the services were very friendly. I'll definitely stay here again. The only downside is that the soundproofing is a bit poor; if you have noisy neighbors, you'll need to ask the hotel to remind them.
