JW Marriott Shanghai Fengxian in Shanghai

This is my second stay at this hotel. The environment is beautiful and the service is excellent. The seafood buffet on Friday night had fresh and abundant ingredients, and breakfast was also delicious. We even saw a beautiful fireworks display on Saturday night.

What stood out most was the hotel's service; from the cleanliness to the staff, everything felt very thoughtful. A special thank you to the front desk gentleman who kindly upgraded us to a balcony room with an expansive lake view. The room amenities were all new, and the hygiene was excellent. We also appreciated the six complimentary bottles of mineral water. The beds were larger than those typically found in twin rooms at most other hotels, which was perfect for our 'awkward' family combination of two adults and two children – no cramped sleeping! The bathtub was spacious, and the toiletries were very complete, including facial soap, mouthwash, and disposable razors. The breakfast selection and atmosphere were both great, and outside, there was a children's slide, bunnies, and a ball pit. Although we only stayed for one night and couldn't experience all the facilities, everything we did try was very satisfying. The hotel is conveniently located near the Fengxian Museum and the Three-Body Sci-Fi Museum, both within about a 10-minute walk. We didn't have enough time to explore everything, so we'll definitely be back for another stay.

I'd known about this place for a while but never got around to visiting. Yesterday, I happened to be at Shanghai Fish, so I decided to book a stay here. The environment is quite nice, and the buffet was decent – not a huge selection, but everything was well-presented. The hotel room was very clean and quiet, and every staff member was fantastic.

JW Marriott Hotel Oriental Beauty Valley in Fengxian is truly a masterpiece, and I've been coming back for two years in a row. I feel like there's been an improvement this year compared to last year. The breakfast selection has increased, and their service philosophy seems to be evolving. It's incredibly pleasant to walk around the hotel grounds this time of year, with beautiful spring scenery both day and night! If I had to make a suggestion, I wish they also offered dry saunas for women; the steam room feels a bit pointless.

Had a staycation with my son. The hotel environment is quite good, and we got an upgraded lake view room, which was very comfortable. The only thing is that the room isn't very spacious. We booked a package that included a buffet dinner, and the food was decent. Next time, I'll try another Marriott.

My family really likes the Marriott brand. The hotel's style, overall layout, and the aroma in the public areas are indeed to our liking. The front desk staff demonstrated professionalism and excellent service awareness; they even upgraded us to a lake-view room on our check-in day, which was a nice touch. All the staff were very polite, and the room service was also professional. My only slight disappointment was during checkout. Even though I had already confirmed everything with the front desk, I later received two calls to reconfirm the bill and another call for a satisfaction survey. I hope they can optimize this process in the future.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel environment was incredibly comfortable, and the room was clean, tidy, and had fantastic natural light. Just being in there felt relaxing and reassuring. What truly impressed me was the service; from check-in to check-out, it was attentive and thoughtful throughout. The staff were gentle, accommodating, efficient, and never intrusive. You could feel their dedication and professionalism in every interaction. If I ever come back to this area, this will definitely be my top choice. I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

They upgraded us to a deluxe lake-view room because it was ***** New Year's Eve, and the bathtub was huge, which was great for the kids to soak in. Even though we didn't get to ride the little train, the kids had a wonderful time in the game area. The dining staff provided excellent service; they proactively asked us what kind of coffee we wanted at breakfast and if the kids needed bibs. All the service staff were incredibly nice and left a great impression.

The hotel environment is excellent, and it's very clean. The buffet and breakfast were both extensive. Next time I'm in Fengxian, I'll definitely stay here again.

The service was excellent; any requests we made were promptly addressed, and they even proactively checked in to see if we needed anything. The baby pool's water temperature was very comfortable in winter, and both the buffet dinner and breakfast were quite good.
