Had a fantastic stay! The room offered an unobstructed, front-row view and was very clean and comfortable. The indoor heated pool was large, with crystal-clear water at a perfect temperature. When I checked in, I asked the front desk for a room with a better view, and the staff member immediately rearranged it for me.

The room directly faced the Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower and the 'three-piece suit' (Lujiazui skyline), offering an absolutely stunning view. The staff were also excellent, always smiling and providing great service. I'll definitely choose W Hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.

Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a Fantasy Suite. I requested a room ending in '10' and though it wasn't on a high floor, the 'three-piece' (bathroom amenities) facing me when I entered at night were truly excellent! 👍

The room was very quiet and the ambiance was fantastic, though I couldn't get an upgrade. The smoking area near the entrance was very convenient. The facilities are top-notch. The staff was very welcoming. I was given an early check-in and the staff assisted in giving us rooms that are near to each other for us to facilitate care to our 3 children. Knowing that we need to be out early for our disneyland and railway trips, the staff provided us with early breakfast and snacks arrangements for us. The breakfast has various options - fried rice, noodles, porridge, baos/shumai, salad, fruits, milk, soy milk, coffee, etc, serving from 7-10am. the receptionist can speak english so it was easy to checked in. they also help me set up my alipay to order food. the only downside was the hostel is located in 3rd floor (and have no elevator). i bring 2 large suitcases so it was a hassle to go upstairs. but overall it was a good budget hostel.

However, there was no hairdryer in the room, which was inconvenient as I had to go downstairs to get one.
