Very satisfied with my stay here. The service was excellent, and the room was very clean with good facilities. For the same price, it's significantly better than hotels in Pudong. Plus, it's super convenient for getting around.

The accommodation was good, and the breakfast was excellent. We booked two rooms, and while the wait for the rooms to be ready for check-in was a bit long, they ended up upgrading one of them and placing both rooms on the same floor, which was a nice touch. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, though, and it's a bit of a walk from the subway station.

I booked a twin room, and it was spacious enough for two adults and one child traveling together. While some say the facilities are old, the bathroom has actually been renovated. The lighting is bright, and there's a vanity stool. The shower is a bit small but acceptable. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food is quite good. It would be even better if they offered some local Shanghai specialties...

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Lou, was enthusiastic and attentive, patiently assisting me with any questions I had, and was always friendly and professional. The housekeeping staff was meticulous and thorough, paying close attention to details. Everything about the room was great. As an older five-star hotel, the materials used are excellent, and I especially loved the chair – it was so comfortable. It would be even better if the carpet could be removed!

An older hotel with dated facilities, it definitely has that old-money vibe. It's now under Marriott, though I heard it's been downgraded. The location is super convenient with Century Avenue and the metro station nearby.

The location is superb, with convenient access to transportation; Metro Line 6 is right outside, making it very easy to get to Nanjing Road and Lujiazui. Got an upgraded room, which was great! The service was also very attentive; they helped with luggage and even brought yogurt. Had a very comfortable stay.

The room was clean and well-equipped. The bathroom was very spacious and even had a TV. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and specifically gave me a room with a view of Lujiazui.

I’ve stayed Grand Soluxe Zhonguou hotel before and every time I’ve had nothing but excellent service, breakfast is always great, amenities are top notch and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommended this hotel, love the view from the room too.

The facilities are great, and the location is good and very quiet. The housekeeping service was excellent; they cleaned thoroughly and restocked supplies promptly. Highly recommended!

Traveling with a friend, each of us had a child, so we booked a king room for each family. Perhaps seeing that we were both solo parenting, they upgraded us to a twin room. The room was clean and spacious.

Overall the hotel was really nice in terms of the location and service. Though it’s pretty old I think the access to the facilities and price of the stay per night make staying in this hotel worthwhile. I highly recommend it for people coming to Shanghai.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Shanghai Museum East. It's an older hotel; the facilities are complete but a bit dated. Both the housekeeping and front desk service were very attentive.

Very disappointing experience for a 4-star hotel. I had two serious issues during my stay. First, the hot water pressure was extremely weak. It was very difficult to take a shower, and the water was only lukewarm instead of properly hot. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Second, I accidentally left my scarf in the hotel. Handy location, about 10 mins walk to Science & Tech Museum metro station and then a few stops to Nanjing East stop. Housekeeping was great, consistently kept our room tidy and replaced towels everyday as well. Found food court at next station (Century Ave mall) - which is also walkable.

The hotel environment is excellent, and it's very close to the East Building of the Shanghai Museum, just a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is quiet and offers good value for money, but the bathroom facilities are a bit outdated, and I hope they'll be updated soon.

Rooms were clean, but some solutions like bathroom mirror or towel hanger were badly design, uncomfortable to use, other than that enjoyed my stay.

Friendly staff could be more interactive but possible due to language barriers did not interact much.

Overall the room is clean and nice but no coffee or tea in the room as you need to go down in the lobby. I was surprised they scrutinized my passport entry-exit in China while other hotels i went only need to check the visa.

Hotel is just fine according to the price range , nothing special nothing against.

It is close to where I am visiting. The hotel provides free bottled water and napkins. Free laundry is the best part of the services.

Reception help me to order from mei tuan due to we have some account issue. Hotel cheaper here due to 30mins away from town by car.
