The hotel is great, and it's super convenient for travel, being very close to the airport. However, it can be a bit noisy because many planes take off in the middle of the night. Bringing earplugs would definitely help

The colossal crystal chandelier under the high dome was absolutely stunning! The marble spiral staircase and the palatial decor felt straight out of a movie scene; every shot I took looked like it belonged in a magazine

For dinner, we ate at the Jinchu Buffet Restaurant on the basement level. The decor here, much like the lobby, continued the French luxury theme. The crab legs and shellfish in the seafood bar were incredibly fresh

This time, I stayed for several days and had some free time, so I also went to the club for a workout and a swim. The swimming pool was also very clean

Honestly, besides the location, everything about this hotel is worth a four-digit price, including the excellent and attentive service, which even includes airport pick-up and drop-off (limited to T2 domestic arrivals and departures)

Another reason I simply have to recommend it is that directly across the pedestrian walkway from the hotel entrance is the famous, beautiful, and highly worthwhile Shanghai History Museum! It turns out the grand staircases found in modern architectural marvels like libraries and art museums today originated at the Shanghai History Museum

The hotel is located in the heart of Xujiahui, making transportation and dining very convenient. Xujiahui Cathedral, Xuhui Bookstore, and the Jiaotong University campus are all just a stone's throw away

Booked this for a client, and they absolutely loved the room. The hotel is conveniently located in the Changning district, surrounded by Japanese restaurants. It's an older hotel, but it's well-maintained.

It's a bit of a walk to the subway, but there's a bus stop right outside that takes you one stop to Loushanguan Road Station on Line 2, or you can just use a shared bike

The hotel's location is fantastic, with excellent amenities nearby. It's super convenient to get to all the major attractions thanks to Metro Lines 2, 10, and 15 just around the corner

The main selling point is the price, especially for someone like me who doesn't need breakfast; booking without it makes it even cheaper, which is perfect

Most importantly, all the staff greeted us with genuine smiles and were always ready to help. Their warmth left a lasting impression, and it was definitely great value for money!

Everything about the room was great. As an older five-star hotel, the materials used are excellent, and I especially loved the chair – it was so comfortable. It would be even better if the carpet could be removed!

In winter, the room temperature is controlled at 22-23 degrees Celsius, which isn't too hot, and it's just right with the duvet – I slept soundly all night (some hotels set the winter temperature at 25 degrees, and you wake up in the middle of the night feeling too hot even with the duvet)

Across from the hotel is Daning Park, and there are high-end residential buildings under construction in the surrounding area. Some road sections are uneven, so please be careful when getting around

The doormen are well-trained, not only opening car doors but also assisting with luggage. The front desk staff are highly professional; they accommodated our request for a quiet room

Having two bathrooms means no waiting in line for the toilet or shower. The Baohua Marriott is well-maintained and looks quite new. The bedding is clean, and the duvets seem fresh

The Shanghai Marriott Hotel Parkview boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation, right across the street from the park. The hotel lobby is grand and impressive

The only con in this trip, or else, it would have been perfect! Then I'll followed by Xi An then Beijing, as those two cities have free laundry! My last two days was the start of their May Day! The number of people walking through Nanjing Street was crazy, shown in photo! But, it was very orderly so everyone had a good time here!

Basically, it was like being right in the middle of a happening town! Love that there's delicious halal food nearby, beside Apple store (Pinhuiwei Muslim Northwestern Chinese)! The Bund is nearby, Adidas flagstore is there, Starbucks everywhere

The location is excellent, right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Service is decent, and the breakfast spread is quite good
