Shanghai Marriott Hotel Parkview, Shanghai1 / 30

Shanghai, No. 333 Guangzhong West Road, Jing'an District (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
great location, nice hotel and cheap. good restaurant also nearby
The two-bedroom connecting room at Marriott is perfect for family trips. There's plenty of space, giving each family member their own comfortable bed, and the connecting passage allows for easy interaction. Having two bathrooms means no waiting in line for the toilet or shower. The Baohua Marriott is well-maintained and looks quite new. The bedding is clean, and the duvets seem fresh. In winter, the...
The hotel is located near Shanghai Circus World, about 800 meters from Circus World Metro Station. Across from the hotel is Daning Park, and there are high-end residential buildings under construction in the surrounding area. Some road sections are uneven, so please be careful when getting around.
The room environment is excellent, very cozy with good lighting. The sanitary facilities are clean and quite new. There's a buffet downstairs, and coffee is very convenient. I'll definitely choose Marriott again next time; it feels very comfortable.
The Shanghai Marriott Hotel Parkview boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation, right across the street from the park. The hotel lobby is grand and impressive. The doormen are well-trained, not only opening car doors but also assisting with luggage. The front desk staff are highly professional; they accommodated our request for a quiet room. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, and...
An established hotel with excellent service and convenient transportation for business travel. The environment is pleasant, and the sanitation is good, making it suitable for business trips and hosting foreign guests. Very good, very good, very good, very good, very good, very good, very good.

Convenient location, spacious and quiet rooms, and good quality food.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! They even gave us a free upgrade to a suite. The room was spacious, clean, and had a really cozy atmosphere – it definitely exceeded my expectations! For breakfast, there was a wide variety of options including Western, Chinese, local specialties, and vegetarian dishes. Everything tasted great too! Overall, it was a very comfortable stay!!
I've stayed in many five-star hotels, and this one is generally very good. There's a huge ship right at the hotel entrance, and the lobby looks very grand. The front desk staff were also very friendly. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. I booked this hotel through a group deal I saw online, and it definitely didn't disappoint – I just went for it without hesitation and it was a great choice
I was very satisfied with my last stay, so I chose this place again. Haha, is it my good luck that they upgraded me to a suite? The room is amazing! This time I also booked the executive lounge access. The food isn't great, but the drinks definitely live up to the name 'lounge,' especially finding Baileys Irish Cream. Thumbs up! 👍🏻
The self-service breakfast was good. I stayed for two nights, and the young man at the front desk, employee number 8, was very polite. Over the past few days, whether it was the cleaning staff or the check-in personnel, the overall experience has been excellent.
The front desk service was excellent during check-in, and the room was quite good too. The hotel definitely still maintains its old five-star standards. However, I woke up at 1 AM and found that the spotlight in the bathroom was leaking water, forming a puddle on the floor. That was a pretty frightening experience.

Staff very friendly & service standard is high. Huge & comfy room which comes w complimentary mini bar. Down side is we were awaken morning due to work outside of the window with workers on gondola. Feedback to hotel front desk & seems they didn't knw there is external work going on but they will find out & inform guest if needed. Paid for bf at hotel, spread is reasonable.
Regent Shanghai Pudong is located in the heart of Lujiazui, offering stunning views of the Huangpu River. The rooms are elegantly modern, with subtle luxurious touches. The attentive and thoughtful service makes every guest feel welcome, and both the selection of amenities and the high-altitude swimming pool experience are impressive. Its excellent location provides easy access to shopping and transportation...
The front desk upgraded me to a city view suite. The room was huge and really comfortable, with a great layout that made it feel just like home. I stayed for four days and didn't miss home at all. Taking a bath in the tub after my workout each day was incredibly relaxing.
The Regent Shanghai Pudong boasts an excellent location right next to the 'three-piece suit' skyscrapers. The rooms are quite spacious, the facilities are well-maintained, and the service is commendable. Before I even checked in, the hotel service consultant proactively reached out to me and promptly resolved my parking issue. Upon departure, I even received a small gift. It would be even better if...
The hotel was very generous and upgraded us to a suite, which was a definite plus. The location and the views were both incredible. The staff at the front desk and the club were also very helpful. I would definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit!
Overall, no major issues, especially given the solid foundation of the old Four Seasons and the Regent brand. The service was impeccable, with staff from the front office to housekeeping and the lounge all greeting guests with a smile, making one feel right at home. The view from the window was lovely, with the 'three-piece suite' (likely referring to a specific building group) framed alongside the...

Had a fantastic stay! It's not far from Metro Line 1, which made getting around super easy. The room was clean, and there were tons of restaurants and a shopping center nearby.
Excellent location: hundreds of stores, restaurants, cafes, international fast food restaurants, grocery stores, fruit shops etc. within 2 minutes walking distance, 3 minutes walking distance to Shanghai Circus and ERA acrobatic performance theatre, 5 minutes walking distance to 2 metro stations along Line 1. Nice room with comfortable bed, safe box, iron and ironing board, a hotel spa, etc. Nice breakfast...
The service during the Chinese New Year period was exceptional and brought a delightful surprise to every traveler seeking a home-away-from-home experience! A big thank you to all the hotel staff for their continuous dedication to their work!
Staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Daning was an excellent experience! The front desk staff were warm and professional, and the room was clean and tidy with complete amenities, including a mini-bar stocked with snacks and drinks. Shopping nearby is very convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.
The service was excellent. Lily, the cleaner on the 8th floor, was a diligent and thoughtful older lady. Many foreigners stay here, and some of the Anglo-Saxons had a bit of an arrogant air. The young hotel staff and dated facilities created a jarring contrast, yet the minimalist, front-desk-less design and artistic hallways felt harmonious. The location was excellent. It was amusing to find a modern tablet controlling the room's lights and curtains in an older hotel. I had to change the dates for a room I booked for Chinese New Year, as my plans changed. Big thanks to the Trip.com customer service for helping coordinate with the hotel. The location is great, right downstairs from Xintiandi. The staff were enthusiastic and the check-in experience was very good. The only minor issue is that the parking lot is a bit tricky to find every time, but considering the Xintiandi area, it's understandable.
Service: Fiona was incredibly nice. She explained everything thoroughly during check-in, patiently listened to our requests, and even gave us two complimentary breakfasts. Great location and wonderful service! The lobby offers guests warm mineral water, hot tea, and candies. They also provide a free shuttle bus and a map of local attractions. Check-in was quick, and the hotel breakfast was excellent.
An amazing Bund accommodation experience! The French minimalist room design is incredibly stylish, and the mattress is so soft, it feels like sleeping on clouds. As a local Shanghainese, Xijiao Hotel holds a special place in my heart. Compared to Dongjiao, I much prefer Xijiao for its greater seclusion; only hotel guests can access its private rear garden! I hope to visit Xijiao a few times every year, especially in spring and autumn! It's absolutely breathtaking!
The hotel staff were warm and attentive, the hygiene was impeccable, and the environment was beautiful. Although the room facilities were a bit dated, they were very well maintained. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, but the dinner selection was not as extensive.
Garden is very beautiful and nice to have a place to stay away from the crowds and have a peaceful time, it is Private garden and people assess by the room cards, customers are most of senior people or retired people who take lodge there. Or family with kids suit there; Room is not worth that much money but only the private garden cost, it seems in China, the peace costs more than others.
It’s a good place for family retreat as it’s hidden away from the hustling city life in Shanghai. It’s almost like a resort which has acres of landscape gardens and beautiful mansion style accommodation and is exceedingly quiet too. I’m impressed with its well equipped sports center that has almost everything you could think of, from pool, gym to indoor and outdoor tennis courts which I believe are...

The room was great, with a fantastic view of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The service was also excellent, and my child loved it. We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Shanghai. Opting for the buffet breakfast would probably enhance the experience even more.
Staff very friendly and Hotel location suitable for traveling. So The Breakfast is fantastic. I recommend to stay when come to Shanghai.
The location is fantastic, right next to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street! The room had huge windows, so we woke up to sunshine every morning. They even called us before we arrived to confirm our check-in. Mia at the front desk was so thoughtful; she gave us two adjoining rooms, which was a lovely touch. My whole family really enjoyed our stay!
Facilities: Decent Cleanliness: Clean and tidy Ambiance: Grand and upscale Service: Warm and friendly
Comfortable as always! The room was spotless, and the attention to detail was impeccable. For a holiday right in the heart of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, this is definitely the place to be! The video was shot from the room; it was so relaxing, sipping tea and watching the hustle and bustle of Nanjing Road.
Ella (Front's desk), she help us to upgrade the room, she is very nice and hospitality. The room is very clean and tidy, bedroom is cozy. Toilet is not big not small and separated shower and toilet area. The hotel is very closed to Nanjing East Road, and subway just 5 minutes walk. The front desk manager was incredibly patient and attentive, and even sent up some complimentary fruit. Our room was also very clean and tidy. Plus, there's a Japanese restaurant on the 29th floor!
The hotel's location is excellent, right outside the subway station. The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful, especially towards the two seniors traveling with me. The breakfast was plentiful and the seniors were very satisfied. We'll definitely come back if we have the chance.
After getting the room card, I wasn't told where to find the elevators or where breakfast was served. The breakfast wasn't great, and the staff's attitude wasn't much better, especially the auntie making noodles – did I owe you money or something? For those staying here, you can go experience it for yourselves.
This hotel is quite popular, and the lobby is always bustling, giving it a real big-city vibe! While the facilities aren't the newest, the cleanliness is very good, and the service is decent. The breakfast is also plentiful, and there are many international guests staying here. My kids really enjoyed it too. It's super close to the subway station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby ❤️
Terrible experience. 1. From 1 AM to 2 AM, there was drilling upstairs, likely renovation work. I was repeatedly woken up and slept terribly (I'm usually a heavy sleeper, so the noise was extreme). 2. The air conditioner, as shown in picture one, is very old and makes a clunking noise when turned on. Luckily, it's winter, so I didn't need to use it. 3. There's only a bathtub for showering. The hygiene and service were excellent! They even gave my child two free breakfasts, which was a very kind gesture. The breakfast was plentiful and the view from the window was unique. Plus, it's really close to all the attractions.
First off, the service was excellent! The front desk lady (I think her name was Ashin) was really enthusiastic and professional. I highly recommend the Bund River View room! The view is absolutely stunning!! Although it's a bit older, it's very clean. And the fried dumplings at breakfast were delicious!!! The breakfast overall had a Western focus.
The room was a bit small, and changing elevators was a bit inconvenient. However, the afternoon tea was exquisite, and the view was absolutely stunning. It was quite crowded during the Spring Festival, and the check-in process could definitely be faster.
The facilities are really well-maintained. If you're looking to avoid the crowded Bund, this place is an excellent choice. The views are superb, and getting around is very convenient. The service is top-notch; they're attentive to guest needs but also maintain a respectful distance, without being intrusive. I'm very satisfied.
Stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Pudong for a night during the Chinese New Year. Even though I usually prefer newer hotels, the Ritz's unique charm convinced me. The hotel is very elegant and perfect for photos. From check-in to check-out, I felt consistently well-served and respected. It's just a short walk from the Bund, so there's no need to worry about transportation for night outings. The shampoo and hairdryer in the room were also quite good.
First time staying at the Peace Hotel. It wasn't mind-blowing, but the room was decent-sized and it included breakfast, so it was good value for money. Facilities: The facilities are great, although parking is a bit difficult, which is understandable given the prime location. Hygiene: The room was very clean, and the lobby was also tidy. This hotel is too outdated. The decor is completely behind the times. I have no idea why it's ranked third among high-end hotels in North Bund; I wouldn't have chosen it otherwise. The photos show the so-called 'charming night view.' I booked two rooms directly opposite each other, and the view from both was pretty much the same. The food and service were great! They even upgraded my room for free. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old, but everything was clean.
Throughout our journey back home in January, our family stayed at the Ocean Hotel multiple times. The family room was spacious. It was very convenient to store our luggage there while we traveled to other cities, and the concierge staff were polite and attentive. The nearby Raffles City mall meets all dining and shopping needs. It's also just a stone's throw away from the North Bund.
The breakfast on the first floor offered a wide variety of choices. We booked an executive room for New Year's Day, and the view from the 25th floor was fantastic. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub. The hallway was very quiet, which made for a great night's sleep, and the room itself was spacious and clean. The service was excellent; any requests we made were promptly addressed, and they even proactively checked in to see if we needed anything. The baby pool's water temperature was very comfortable in winter, and both the buffet dinner and breakfast were quite good.
The room was spotless, and the front desk staff were very professional and helpful. The buffet restaurant staff were all smiles and highly efficient. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.
The overall environment is quite good, and among the Marriott hotels in Shanghai, this one feels relatively new. I booked a standard room, which was decent. I have to give the concierge team a perfect score! Aaron and Katrina from the concierge staff were consistently professional and well-mannered. Their service was organized, efficient, and incredibly responsive. They were patient, enthusiastic, and responsible with every single guest.
The personalized service from the concierge team at Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund was truly heartwarming! Mark from the concierge, though a rookie, was fantastic! He proactively understood our needs during check-in, not only added us on WeChat to respond to all our requests promptly but also recommended niche Shanghainese restaurants based on our itinerary. He was as attentive as a friend.
The concierge staff, Rookie Brin, at the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund is a true five-star benchmark! They meticulously tagged my luggage when I stored it, and promptly delivered it to me the moment I checked out. They even thoughtfully prepared a Shanghai travel guide. Every step, from check-in to departure, showcased their professionalism and warmth!
There wasn't a single moment of perfunctory service throughout my stay; the attention to detail was exceptional, making me truly feel at home. The service was professional, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. This kind of dedicated service truly deserves a five-star recommendation, and I hope it continues!

Booked this stay on Ctrip, and the overall experience truly exceeded my expectations! The room was incredibly spacious with a comfortable layout, and that large bathtub was absolutely perfect for a relaxing soak. The hotel's location is super convenient; I'll definitely choose to stay here every time I visit Shanghai in the future. The coffee was also delicious, and having a coffee machine in the room...

Great service and the room was perfect. I always stay here whenever I'm in Shanghai. The hotel's location is super convenient, right in the city center, so getting anywhere is quick. Plus, the views are fantastic!
The hotel restaurant is beautiful. I was here on a business trip, and the front desk helped me upgrade my room and gave me a late check-out. The hotel offers really down-to-earth service, nothing to complain about. I'll definitely stay here next time.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and free of any strange odors. The environment was also very quiet. Overall, a great experience.
Overall, it's a great hotel. It's located in a bustling area, making it very convenient to go shopping and dining at SML Center. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, and there's a high-end restaurant on the top floor. It's definitely a top choice for business travelers, and I also stay here every time I go to Ruijin Hospital for a check-up. The only downside is that hotel guests only get a 50% discount...

Front desk staff Xiao Zhu was incredibly warm and helpful. After our booking, she confirmed our room's orientation, our bedding preferences, and even prepared our favorite pillows. It was truly a delightful and comfortable experience. 5-star rating!
Big thanks to front desk staff Xiaocao and Xiaoqi for their amazing service! After checking out, they proactively helped me with the invoice and payment receipt, which was super helpful. I later realized I'd left something in my room, and just as I was starting to worry, Xiaocao reached out and added me on WeChat. They carefully confirmed the item and my address, and quickly helped mail it back to...
This is my go-to hotel every time I visit Shanghai. The location is fantastic, close to everything, and the price is reasonable. The soundproofing in the rooms is good, and they're always spotless. I particularly love that food deliveries are brought to your room by a robot, so you don't have to go downstairs to pick them up. The hotel feels very secure; you can't access floors without a key card....
I made a last-minute decision to stay at Pudong Star River Bay, and even though it was quite late when I checked in, the front desk attendant, Xiao Zhu, was incredibly welcoming and patiently explained the room options that best suited us. The check-in experience was fantastic, and I really commend him for that. The hotel truly lives up to its five-star standard. I especially appreciate his professional...
