The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting the Dubrovnik Old Town, just a couple of minutes walk to the Pile Gate. Villa Astra is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. My wife and I stayed there for 3nights/4days and the staff was amazing during our stay. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, and the property inside and out was a great place to rest in peace. The moment we walked into the backyard, we knew we booked the right place in Lovran. Definitely will stay again!

This place has something special, we manager to relax on our first day. Is a niche boutique hotel, for the ones appreciating the old buildings. Also, the magic made by the owner for the guests to have a 21 th century experience. We engoy our stay and we plan to be back in the nearest future.

A big thanks to the team and the owner, Mr. Vjekoslav, for a pleasant stay. We stayed only 3 nights and genuinely enjoyed them. The Villa is beautiful and has a special charm to it, we especially loved the wonderful breakfasts outside on the terrace. The little bay in front of the villa is also nice and private for a swim.

Beautifully decorated hotel which matches up the 5 star standard. Top notch service and excellent breakfast provided in the hotel restaurant. For those older guest with substantial amount of luggage, the hotel “Various” entrances were not convenient for arriving and departing . The porter don’t seem to be always around. The location of this hotel is just excellent. It is at the fringe of the most happening part of the town. But it is still very quiet and peaceful. Really a short walk to all the must sees. View from the rooftop is beautiful too.

Hotel is old but nice and not so expensive at the end of October. Rooms are nice with lovely view on the sea. Bathroom is a bit old. Brakfast is simple and ok. Dinner is 27€ so a little bit expensive. Parking is disaster and you have to pay for it. Hotel has swiming pool inside with sea water.

Hotel is old and banged up. We had some issues with room keycards that stopped working (twice), the prices are astronomical even in september and parking is a nightmare and a robbery. The hotel does have a nice view and the breakfast was good. The “beach” in front is a falling apart cemented space with ice cold water (underwater springs) and ice watering prices for umbrella and deck chairs.

We loved our 4 night stay in one of the beach front apartments. While the apartment was on the smaller side, it had everything we needed for a family of 3 to relax near the beach. We were a 10 minute walk from reception, the pool, and the main Verudela Ave, but we were very close (1-3 minute walk to some of the best beaches!) the property is large, but getting around was easy. Very satisfied with our stay. The property is very big, this being said the walk from the reception to our apartment was quite the walk. The beach was beautiful and the restaurants are delicious.

Location: The hotel is right in the heart of Zagreb, within walking distance to several museums, other hotels, and pedestrian streets. The hotel itself is also very well-equipped with several restaurants, and the rooms are very comfortable. During winter, the heating system is effective and not particularly noisy.

Beautiful hotel, clean, rooms are cozy, loby, elevators and hallways smell really nice. Breakfast was really nice, various tipes of fresh bread, veggies, fruits, meats and cheeses. Parking has own garage but i parked on public street parking, there was some place and it is cheaper option. Has huge pool with warm water.

What a beautiful hotel, the room was extremely comfortable, the pools were amazing, spotlessly clean and really comfortable loungers. Very well kept hotel with spacious rooms and a very comfortable bed. It has a unique charm about it and reminds of what a hotel should be, not full of bling but nice. When you first arrive you get a feeling of relaxation right from the moment you walk through the door.

The staff were friendly, the location was great, and the lake view was fantastic. It was a shame the whirlpool in the sauna was broken. The lack of an elevator made it difficult to carry my luggage down during checkout, but everything else was excellent. Breakfast was also delicious, as they took individual orders.

The facility is a bit small and old, but there is a free car service at the entrance and stop of Plitvice, and the massage was good. Spa (swimsuit required) and fitness center are available for free use. Plitvice admission ticket can be extended for free on the day of your stay. Great hotel lovely staff clean big rooms, location quite far from centre

It wan not easy to find the parking nearby, as the hotel one seemed overpriced. Yet the excellent gym facilities helped in soothing that pain.

The small banglows made a nice change, the beach although public was nice, quiet and only really used by customers in the resort. Shame they charge for parking!! Food was good. We had a great stay here during september. We were not sure what to expect but we were not dissapointed. Our room was cozy and clean with balcony and the view of the sea. Return visit My fifth stay at this hotel and it is a very enjoyable experience. Although the food is in buffet form the standard is very high. The outside dining terrace has splendid views. The new wing adds a third swimming pool which is indoor and outdoor. All pools are heated. The main language used in the hotel is German.

Underwhelming Booked a double bed, got a pushed together twin. Room was a little on the tired side. Shower was tiny, leaked over the floor, and had the toilet immediately in front of it (had to step out diagonally). And not their fault, but the road to the hotel was blocked, so had to walk with our luggage some distance to get there. No communication to inform us of that.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful, clean, balcony overlooking the sea. There is even a hot tub to use outside and spa facilities. There was a bus stop opposite the hotel which was perfect to go into the town (15minutes) The hotel was very homely and the staff were all excellent. Great hotel, beautiful view and lovely outdoor pool. Unfortunately, the pool bar was closed, and the pool was emptied after one day, despite perfect swimming weather (23 degrees Celsius and sunshine) and despite the promise that the outdoor pool would be open during our stay, as requested in advance. The jacuzzi was also broken.

I think it would be better if they provided information on the location of the bus stop to the old town. It would be nice to have easy access to information on how many minutes it is to walk from here to the bus stop, which direction it is in, and which bus number to take.

The view was amazing! The staff were friendly. However, the bathroom only had hot water. Also, there was a terrible leak, so the bathroom was soaking wet.

We had an amazing time at the hotel, the workers were always helpful and welcoming, the room was perfect and the hotel provided a good variety of things on site such as the cave bar or the two swimming pools. One thing I would note is the hotel is 30/40 minutes walk away from the old town or Taxis are about €8.50.

Good view which located on the cliff. But the service here is really poor. I got a room with broken air conditioner in the bathroom. After arguing with the staff in hotel for hours at night, I finally changed to another room. Be carefully! It may destroy your holiday!

We booked a room through trip.com which based on the picture led me to believe that the room had a balcony with a view of the sea.  Room was an interior room with no view.  Feel clearly misled by trip.com’s advertising and will use a different site when booking our next room.  Was in Greece and Croatia for three weeks and this was definitely our least favorite room.

Amazing location in the bay with excellent views, breakfast was very good. My only complaint is the restaurant was fairly slow for food. I would stay here again over any other place an it’s only a 15min walk to the port along a beautiful sea side walkway.
