Overall we thought this was a good hotel for the price. We found the reception staff were very helpful including giving us a kettle (us British!) and helping find a car hire company. We did find that some other couples we spoke to found the rooms on the small side, but we had paid a bit extra for a suite; so a bedroom, living room and bathroom all together which were all very satisfactory - if overall...

We’ve stayed at both Hotel Laguna and Maestral several times with our toddler and always have a great time. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers lots of family-oriented amenities – a pool, mini golf, ping pong, kids’ playroom, live music, mini disco, and even occasional open-air cinema nights. We usually travel as a small family, but other relatives often join us for a few days...

The hotel was perfectly located, the beach was in front of the hotel, kids enjoyed mini golf. Nice trees at the front, also the outdoor swimming pool was excellent. We enjoyed very much

We were here for the 2nd Time and it was as great as the first time, if not even better! The staff is really nice and you can see the effort that's being invested in to having a care-free holiday. It's a very nice complex with the beach and pools. Definitly worth it.

Very friendly staffs and helpful too. I love the location of the hotel. Very beautiful views. The facilities just ok. Breakfast is not that good to my Asian taste. Overall I would recommend this hotel. It’s close to bus stop and there’s free parking near the hotel too. 

Hotel was in perfect location, clean and modern. We had a few slight issues in the room like needed more hangers, fridge didn’t work but after a few requests were sorted. The girls on reception were friendly but could have done a lot more on the welcoming front it was very much “there are your keys” and then back to their phones or laptop. A little more conversation and customer service required.

Really great area to bade yourself for a stay in Dubrovnik. Babin Kuk is mainly made up of resort hotels, including the Valamar group which meant you could use the loungers on the beach at the nearby President hotel. Only shame was that the al la carte poolside restaurant didnt stay open til 9pm as stated meaning one evening we found it difficult to find somewhere to eat. Our only other option was...

We stayed early October, pools and facilities still all open. Staff were helpful and very polite. Hotel is great, everything you could want. Easy 3 min walk for bus. 5 min walk to the most beautiful views on the coast promenade. This is a nice hotel, conveniently located close to the town of Novigrad. A pleasant beach is just a minute's walk away. A difficult one really. Hotel was lovely and clean but for a 4* would have expected a little more. On arrival no complimentary drink which we have got at every other 4* in Croatia. Mini bar not even a complimentary bottle of water. Tea and coffee facilities very minimal. Food was nice but definitely not the hottest and seemed to run out quickly. Everything was pleasant. For the probs it was fine but the rooms are small, as us the pool. As far as resorts go, it's basic but good for what it is. Food was excellent. Good access to the shore line and the beaches are beautiful in the area.

Dinner was excellent and the staff were really friendly. We were very pleased when we asked if a dish at the buffet had onions – the cook came out and even offered to make it for us without onions the next day. Such a thoughtful gesture we didn’t expect!

This was our third stay here in 3 years, every year it improves in some way which is great to see, as I always worry things will deteriorate and they do not. The hotel seems new, very clean, good service, the breakfast was so good meny options, the pool is very nice I recommend this hotel. Even though the app offers free parking, I had to pay an extra charge.

Overall really very good At check in we were told subbed where chargeable - luckily we had an email that told us ours were included - something about the date being 15/06 as chargeable - season change ? Otherwise that would have added €25 per day ! I do think hotels should not charge staying guests to use a facility ! Great hotel, clean room. Hotel by the beach, available parking. Good spread of breakfast. Disabled room is very wheelchair friendly and hotel is completely disabled friendly. You can even wheel into the pool with ramp and into the open sea with ramp. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall, I was quite satisfied. My only slight reservation was that I found the continental breakfast a bit hard to get used to since it didn't include rice porridge.

This is a wonderful hotel; we've stayed there five times already. The spa has an indoor pool, saunas, steam rooms, and a jacuzzi. Covered parking is available, and the breakfasts are fantastic. The hotel staff was a 10 out of 10.

The average age of the guests was over 60, and it was clear that most were not there for an active holiday. We spent a family holiday in this hotel for the second time. Despite a little bit small rooms everything was acceptable except one thing. Ignorant guests (not every guest of course). The worst thing which is hotel management responsible is that every public rest spot in the hotel is a smoking area with ashtrays everywhere. Guests are smoking even during moderated mini disco for kids - this is unacceptable...

The city view room also had a partial ocean view. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet. The breakfast room was large, with a wide variety of options and a pleasant atmosphere. The service attitude at the reception was poor. We booked a room clearly stating that we would have children, but there were only two sets of bathrobes and towels. We called to request that they be delivered to the room, but they were not delivered until the evening. Moreover, because the bathrobes and towels were delivered in two batches, the waiter was very impatient and threw the towels at us.

We stayed at the hotel for the New Year holidays. From December 30 to January 02, 2025. Apparently because of this the room was really poorly cleaned, the photo shows stains on the floor, on the table from coffee, garbage in the drawers. In general, the hotel is very "tired", something was obviously broken, barely alive faucets. In general, it does not pull on 5 stars. But! Breakfast on January 01...

There is nothing that you don’t like about this property. This hotel is very well managed with professionals, friendly, and guest oriented people and of course, a lot of choice what to do for everybody.

A hotel with a super good location and full sea view. The rooms are large and clean, with plenty of hot water. The hotel has its own beach and seaside green space. The price of the hotel restaurant is moderate. You can watch the sunset while eating Mediterranean-style meals, and the tips of red wine will make you fall asleep.

So we arrived at 12 and waited till 3 to get a room, however, when checked in, the phone didn’t work. Phone, remote control, door handles, light switches all really dirty. I walked down to reception and asked for phone to work - we stayed there (room 433) 3 nights… no one came to fix it. We were anxious about our visit based on reviews of this hotel - totally unfounded. If you want a full English breakfast, maybe don't go to Croatia! Our flight was cancelled and this was a stop gap near the airport.  Functional but v different to the hotels I use.

This is an amazing hotel. The position is perfect, right on the water. The old town and bus stop really close by. The pool is beautiful, overlooking the sea. The outdoor pool was so clean and wonderful! So refreshing and perfect in the sun to sit on the sun bed and tan all day! Has very good facilities for indoor swimming and outdoor, I love that the beach view is opposite! Very friendly professional and happy attitude staff. Lovely Hotel, great Staff and lovely Facilities. Only let down were the rooms, booked a 2+1, note that it is small for 3 adults, suits two adults and child and even then it would be tight. The staff did try and offer an alternative but unless you pay for an additional room the rooms are similar in size. Enjoyed our stay here and would staff again.

We had a chance to see a hotel room, which I personaly wouldn't like to sleep in ( we fortunatelly stayed in an another hotel). You could feel the atmosfere of socializm, the rooms were dated as well as the lobby and the restaurant. The location of the hotel is good, near the beach and about an 1 km from the city center. The hotel staff seemed to be helpful and kind.

It says 4 stars but it is actually 3 stars hotel...if you do not a kettle in the room or coffee machine, then you do not deserve 4 stars. Another funny thing, they told me that there is a fitness center in -1 24/7 I came at 06:45 and nothing...there was only a sign for wellness open at 09:00...?? The only plus is the location near the beach.

We stayed at this hotel during the world championship taekwondo in Porec. The entrance is spacious as are the rooms. The elevators were a bit small for a hotel of this size. Our experience with friends. Check-in: We both reservated superior room 1 month before. We arrived at the location and they told us due to the conference the rooms we reservated are fully booked. Seems like conference people have priority even if we booked way ahead. This is the third time at this hotel and really enjoyed it before but think it’s gone down hill a little bit, it’s looking a bit tired now and a bit grubby in places. The room was nice but a little grubby and felt sticky in places too so I bought some disinfectant wipes and wiped it over which I think I shouldn’t have to do. The hotel is overall nice. The spa is quite small, also the rooms are not so big and the style is quite old. Food is nice and very efficient service. Pools outside are clean and very comfortable, also they give you clean towels every time you go there take a bath.

Nice hotel with great view breakfast is superb and variety included flee flow wine and champagne. Room clean and nice but during our trip April air condition not operate.
