River Rock Hotel in Ayia Napa

I recently stayed at River Rock Hotel for 5 days and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel is very well located — within walking distance from the beach, shops, and many restaurants, making it convenient for exploring the area.

The breakfast was a highlight each morning, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, from hot dishes to fresh fruits, pastries, and more. It was well-prepared and satisfying, especially for a 3-star hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and adequately equipped. While simple in decor, they were well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff did a good job daily.

One of the standout features was the staff — always smiling, helpful, and professional. Whether at reception or in the restaurant, the service was friendly and efficient, making the stay more enjoyable.

We also had a chance to try the hotel’s restaurant for both lunch and dinner on several occasions. The food quality was consistently very good, with generous portions and a decent menu selection. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service remained attentive even during busier times.
Overall, River Rock Hotel delivers great value for its category. I would definitely recommend it for travelers looking for a clean, comfortable stay in a good location with excellent service and food.

River Rock hotel is excellently situated in Ayia Napa for the harbour, shops, restaurant, bus route etc.
The staff are brilliant and so well trained to look after customers. They are all so friendly and helpful catering for all my needs. Very good value as well.
I feel at home here

I was at the hotel for 4 nights, the place is great. Petra welcomed us at the reception with such a smile and a desire to help with everything we asked her, she is lovely, the breakfast is very rich with a wide variety of foods and was great, on the last day the flight was at night and Petra said we could come after check-out to get a shower, towels and soap, the only thing we were not happy with was the water flow in the shower, maybe it was just our room because we got a place to shower, it was no problem, thank you very much and thanks to Petra

This hotel gets over looked as it does not have lots of reviews . We have just come back from the hotel we are in are 30s and we have been pleasantly surprised . Very clean . Great location as your close by to all the fun but not too close so you can still get a good nights sleep . At this hotel there was families and younger groups and it works great . Firstly the staff are all amazing from the cleaners to the waiters every member of staff always so friendly so helpful they need more credit even a pay rise they made are holiday . Petra at reception . The manager at the bar at the evening the lady who cleaned near the pool honestly you are all amazing . The breakfast was very nice all fresh and staff so nice too . Very nice pool and cabana beds so comfy and free to use. Only thing i would say is maybe play some chilled music at breakfast as it was a bit much when you first get up in the mornings . But honestly great hotel great location . I do think maybe more air con is needed In bar area its very hot for the staff . But what a great team this hotel has they really made are holiday . We had a buffet dinner there one night that was very nice . They do great cocktails and smoothies too highly recommend this hotel

A great experience, easy to check in/out, baggage room, room service is great and the pool and gym are both great. The room had a working AC and a lovely balcony with a great view. Mini fridge, TV with international channels, free breakfast that kept us going through the day until dinner (which they serve). Although, the best part was the kind and caring staff who looked after us and always put a smile on our face. Will definitely be coming again next year :) 5/5 highly recommend. Rooms are decent ,but could improve the cleaning and some repairs needed .the staff is good ,7 stars to Katalina .
I don t reccomend taking All Inclusive ,the food is hit or miss at dinner time ,also the drinks are impossible to drink ,besides the draft beer which is decent .They also don t give you espresso ,you have zero advantages taking All inclusive ,you lose money .

Great value for the money. Very nice and welcoming staff. The only minus I found is, that the room entrance door could have been better sealed to block the noises from the outside...

Stayed here for a week, not long got back. These are my opinions on the hotel but although there are good and bad points, i would stay here again.

Good points:
*The hotel was very clean!
*Most of the staff were very friendly and helpfull
*Cocktails i found were the best in the area.
*great location, everything was in short walking distance.
*breakfast was okay

Bad points:
* the night receptionist (not sure his name) was NOT welcoming or helpfull in anyway and quite rude. We arrived very late at night and felt like an inconvinience for him. No explanation of the hotel, we had to find our own way around.

*bedding/towels was hit or miss. We had some which had stains and black marks on them. When we went to reception to collect new clean sheets we were huffed and puffed from the night receptionist.

*Trying to sleep is difficult from all the screaming/ shouting/banging from drunk youngsters in the hotel and from quads speeding up and down the carpark.

* there is no dress code in the resturant which is a new for me. So people are walking around bare foot with not a lot of clothes on.

I am very satisfied that I came to this hotel. It has a good location. The rooms are clean. The staff is very attentive and polite, they are ready to help you as much as they can. Also very nice staff at the bar. Food is very tasty, varied, well prepared.
