Where to stay in Ayia Napa

Just back from a week here with the children. Grumbles first: Enjoyed the break but the hotel could really do with a facelift. Rooms were dirty and invaded by ants, bed linen full of stains and we were covered in bites by the end of the week. Room cleaning was sporadic at best, and cleaning staff didn’t know how to smile. Excellent food, nice polite staff always a smile on their faces and helped with everything that we needed. There was a show on every night. Very enjoyable family place, had animators during the day and night for children. I denifinately will come again.

The rooms are rather small, for what actually would be possible to put there. The service there is AMAZING the staff is very friendly and rhey also do different kinds of games and stuff like that during the evening. First of all I'm gonna say what we didn't like about the place and we felt like we were lied to at the beginning. It is located very close to the beach, it's yards away, so it was nice to be by the pool and the sea at the same time! We stayed at Tsokkos paradise village in Larnaca. Definitely not 4 star. Just about 3 star. The accomodation and village is in need of a lot of TLC, many broken floor tiles and very dated but kept nice and clean. Shower was good. The sliding doors were really difficult to open. Although the staff are perfect, the facilities need a lot of updating, especially needed near the beach area, the sun beds have no cushions and the sun shade have no pins to keep them updated lack of attention detail, the pool area itself is immaculate and staff make the place it is, pity about poor management to detail, they need to work harder.

This was my second time staying in Ayia Napa, the most tourist-oriented part of Cyprus. The restaurant close to the beach have amazing food and drinks. The halloumi here is so far the best I've had in all of Ayia napa and i have tried them all so far. This one is a bit on the sweeter site, but it matches the flavour profile perfectly, it's not rubbery and its just fantastic for every bite. A delightful hotel which was clean. The best aspect of the stay was the daily breakfast with fresh fruit, thick yogurt and local honey on offer. We stayed a week in November. We arrived at midnight and the night receptionist checked us in. Myself and partner had a room on the first floor overlooking the side road and our friend had a room overlooking the front. Room was clean and tidy. There was a kettle and 2 cups. Stayed here 10 nights with my husband, room excellent, food good ,drink good ,bar staff excellent, cleaning excellent, last few days not so good as few groups of young boys/girls behaving was disgusting, spitting and boking over eachother, we both love a drink and a party but these bunch were a disgrace, felt really sorry for the other guests, glad we were going home .

The apartment we stayed in was very spacious but basic, the cooker handle was broken, the toaster smelled of burning, when I tried to use it. The maid literally walked into our room various times without knocking at 8:45am. We are both not young so did not appreciate this, we found this to be quite rude and it felt as if we were not paying to stay there and got it for free. A positive for this hotel...

Had a lovely stay at Blue Harbour Boutique. Had a family wedding reception there, how they transformed the bar was amazing & would highly recommend having a look if you needed somewhere for a reception of any kind. The rooms there are really nice most comfortable bed I’ve slept in while away, but most of all the staff are so helpful & can’t do enough for you. Will definitely be returning 😀

Coming to Cyprus, visiting Ayia Napa is a must but it’s expensive. It’s a very touristy area and these apartments are far enough out of being directly in it. With the heat of September, it was nice to be by the pool all day and then venture out. Parking I think is limited on site, but believe there were other pots available. It is old and tired, but rooms are huge. Good value for what it is.

Good breakfast and nice staff. However ground floor room was full of some sort of flies ,usually living in the wet environment, therr was no hot water in the middle of the night.

Two days in Ayia Napa We enjoyed very much our 2 days visit at Petrosana. It's a nice small hotel, located in a short distance from the beach and the center of Ayia Napa. Nice and comfortable rooms. Sometimes a little noise from the street, when young people was working home from discos and bars in the night. Everything worked perfectly, and we can only give them our best recommendations.

I wouldn't say this is the nicest hotel I have stayed in but not the worst ,it's a bit tired in a lot of places but the beds are very comfy. Need to lot of work to tidy up a bit but the price reflects in what you get and open out of season which is another bonus

The Manager Linda , 10 out of 10. The facility itself, perfectly allocated. The end of the day, you get what you pay for. It's very, very reasonably priced. So don't expect too much frills, maybe not even an elevator. But what you're getting is a safe place, safe, managed by good management in the perfect location for unbelievable value. In Europe, this has got to be one of the cheapest accommodations

I just came back and I have to say, I really enjoyed my stay at Macronissos Village. Rooms were lovely, staff were really nice, the pool area was superb and it is a family friendly place. Very chilled would return in the future and would highly recommend.

Myself partner and 7 year old stayed for 5 nights. The building and apartment may be simple but that's what we like. The pool and pool bar area is simply wonderful. Claudia and K. We really enjoyed our stay at Napa Mermaid Hotel & Suites. We love Cyprus. After three trips we decided to return and book at Sunprime Aya Napa. Unfortunately we had a problem on the first night. We contacted Ving and then the manager the following morning. If you look at it with slightly skeptical eyes, you discover that maintenance and modernization are non-existent. In many places, the hotel appears worn, and only the most necessary is maintained. Hidden treasure A real hidden treasure right in the centre of Ayia Napa. The communication from the host has been 1st class, messages with all key and room information and she met us on our first day to explain everything. The apartment was spotless as was the reception area and all around the property. Yes there is night club across the road but that didn’t really bother us at all.

My mom stayed in Napa city apartments for 1,5 month. It was excellent experience to stay in Ayia Napa. Panagiotis who owned the apartment is super kind and friendly person, helped with everything! It were amazing days in this apartment. There are all needs, very clean room. Great view, comfy bed and stable wi-fi connection. Also great advantages are : free parking lot (but it’s really tiny, could be a bit challenging for not experienced driver), nice hosts and all bars and restaurants in 5-10 minutes
