Magic Beach Hotel in Hurghada

I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheaper, more cheerful option. The grounds are small, and the sea is terrible. Be prepared to tip heavily; the staff is terribly greedy. Tips are always scarce, they demand more and more, pretending to be friends. They extort money for any small help or suggestion. We were initially checked into a terrible room at night, and we woke up in the morning to a zero sea view. It was on the ground floor, with people walking around and a pool, and we'd booked a sea view. We demanded a view, contacted the operator, went to reception with our bags, stalled, and four hours later they offered us a partial sea view, a partial view of a dilapidated building. After my outburst, they showed us to a great room with a sea view. And even then, they half-heartedly demanded money. Shame on the hotel! On the last day of my stay, I caught the local rotavirus there and was treated at Royal Hospital under my insurance. We moved to another hotel, and it was a mixed blessing. On the plus side, the food is excellent, varied and delicious, with a different grill every day. The evening programs are interesting and varied. That's about it. The hotel and grounds are small. For a hefty tip, they'll do everything right, but then you can stay at a more expensive hotel where you don't need cash or Alyonka chocolate.

The Hotel is very cute.
But:
- The food was unbelievable bad and the bread in the morning was old and like a stone. No refill one hour before end of the breakfast, dinner and lunch.
-The way from the beach to the swimming area is 100m to shallow water. You should wear swimming shoes!!!
