Hotel Florida in Biarritz

Disgrace of a company. Stay away. Especially if you are travelling with kids.

We called to book a room when we arrived to Biarritz with our 10 Week Old asking was it baby friendly. We were assured it was.

We were told we couldn't book over the phone only online which we did 5 mins before arrival.

On arrival we could not get our buggy into their tiny tiny lift. We were told to try the stairs instead with our buggy which of course was impossible also to access. 3 trips later we made it up stairs. The hallways were so narrow we couldn't access our room with our baby in her buggy. (We also needed this for her sleeping quarters).

Without being able to access our room we returned back to reception for a refund from the booking we made 5 mins earlier which we were refused a refund.

Just another room option which wasn't accessible either by life or stairs for us with our baby.

We were forced to go to another hotel and book another room as they refused outright to refund us our money.

An absolute disgrace of a company, never returned my emails to management after we left either requesting our money back. An absolute joke.

Stay away.

Our stay at this hotel was far from enjoyable. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep.

The staff was rude and unhelpful throughout our visit. One particularly absurd moment was being charged €8 for a coffee from a basic machine. To make it worse, the receptionist remembered a cup we took a day earlier with laser focus — if only she used that level of attention to provide good service instead of nitpicking minor things.

On top of that, we didn’t receive room service for three days, and when we brought it up, they had completely forgotten they promised to refund one night because of this inconvenience.

Overall, this hotel clearly lacks customer care and basic hospitality standards. I wouldn’t recommend it.
