All in all I had a good stay. The lady at the reception was very helpful. The bathroom wasnt propely cleaned but they cleaned it after my complain. One has to take into account the reception has limited working hours - you have to tell arrival time in advance.

Staff were very helpful at check-in and the location is excellent (the bus station for my day trip to Cordes sur Ciel was a one minute walk from the hotel, so if you're doing a bus trip the next morning, it's perfect.) The hotel is 30-40 minutes from the train station and 25-30 minutes from the castle. Overall, it was fine, but we couldn't get the air conditioning to heat, and it was quite chilly, about 20°C. There were some issues with the lock, but they were quickly resolved. Breakfast wasn't very varied.

Our room was immaculate and all the staff very welcoming and helpful. There was no kettle but we were provided with one when requested. The pool was a lovely addition. It was in a quiet location about 30 minutes walk from medieval city. The area around the hotel was a retail park and a bit shabby. The busy road and state of footpaths meant that taxi or bus is safer option. We really enjoyed our stay

My wife and I, travel Europe on a motocycle. When in France we usually book into the Ibis. Deals are good, locations on weekends mainly industrial areas offer good prices and very quiet enviroment. Facilities and service were all outstanding. They upgraded our room upon arrival and were able to accommodate last-minute dinner and spa reservations. Only downside was that our itinerary just allowed us to stay one night. We will have to stay at least a few days on our next visit. Highly recommended.

Old building with massive bedroom overlooking the canal. Noisy road during the day but very quiet at night which was fortunate as there was no air con. Quite good breakfast with good coffee. Would recommend it if you're looking for a reasonably cheap stay.

This is our second stay at the Hotel Royal.. one our first stay our ground floor room was exceptional… this time our 2nd floor room had many problems. Very nice hotel. Big clean family room with working air condition. The breakfast was really good. Hard to get to by car though. We had to carry our luggage for a couple of blocks. Can recommend the Saint-Roch parking garage where you also will get a discount from the hotel.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at this hotel. It's clear that this isn't the kind of place where you expect anything special, and in that sense, my expectations were met. Arrived after midnight, the reception was closed. You need to call the hotel so that they give you the instructions to enter and redeem your keycard. The room is spacious. The bed is comfortable. Noticed some dark traces in the shower though.

This property is well situated in the centre of Beziers. I went there for the light show and it is literally 2 minutes walk away from this in Jaures. It's a hotel that's clearly showing its age. Old carpeting, old doors, etc... but a new, large, and comfortable bed, with a renovated bathroom featuring a good bathtub and plenty of hot water... A very good option for being in the city center if what you want is a good bed and a good shower.

The is a lovely property by the river in Toulouse. It’s not right in the heart of the city but worth it! The staff are exceptional. Our front desk receptionist, Olivier, was terrific! He booked trains and restaurant reservations for us and did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were very modern yet the building was old and historical.
