The hotel’s excellent location made it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were very friendly. However, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. We noticed hair in the room, leftover product on the wall of the shower, and the carpet would need a thorough cleaning. While the design of the room was functional, it wasn’t particularly well thought.

However, the room is beyond hot and I do not know why you cannot change the temperature to below 20 degrees celsius. I saw a super beautiful sunrise here. It is very close to the Drama Square, just walk out of the mall; there are many restaurants around, and there are many interesting shops on the other side of the Drama Square, which is suitable for a leisurely stroll.

Loved this hotel and the location! Close to the walled city ( easy walk) with lots to see and experience. The room was comfortable but on the smaller side for the USA but maybe not for European standards. It had all we needed and the property itself was beautiful. This is a very good hotel. Well maintained, ideally located for exploring the old city Carcassonne, convenient parking. Larger rooms in the far away wing are best. Unfortunately, the rooms are below average… very old furniture and disappointing, doesn’t match the price. I was fooled by the lobby and the restaurant downstairs but the rooms are like 2 stars hotel rooms Not worth it!

Since it was low season, certain amenities aren't available which is understandable given the affordable prices for such a luxurious hotel. Comfortable rooms, but would look more modern and fresh if the walls were painted white, instead of the pale yellow/magnolia. Lovely staff, great meal and breakfast. Location is easy to get to and great for a night. But not much to walk to, so it is lucky the restaurant's food is so good. Last year we really enjoyed sitting around the pool, it was a shame the weather stopped us doing it this time.

It’s a boutique hotel but fully renovated, room size is not big but decent enough for Europe standard. Location is great, literally next to the city hall, but parking is a bit of a nightmare.

Enjoyed our stay - strange rooms as small kitchen area which even had a tiny dishwasher but very useful if you're on a budget. the internal parking reservation ( included in the booking) was not comunicated to the Hotel, I was able to manage with the reception in the following days as at the begining of the stay it was not anymore available.

As another review mentions I got to meet the amazing Katia at breakfast on a busy Saturday morning. I was astonished to see her attention to detail clearing tables and ensuring everyone had enough food. Without Katia breakfast would have been a complete disaster but Katia was so efficient and quick at turning tables it made all the difference. A huge credit to her please.

The hotel overall is ok. 2 points I did not like: - indicated charging station is a regular household power outlet. You need to bring your own cable (3,4kwh). Parking was occupied by a non electric car. Reception did not react. - French fries in restaurant were burned in oil and soggy 🤬

I was initially assigned to the 6th floor, then moved to the 5th. There's no elevator, so climbing the stairs was exhausting. The front desk area is only one square meter, but the receptionist was nice and provided good service. The room is small, but the bathroom is nice. We had an excellent stay at Grand hotel. It is literally the very centre of the city which meant we could walk everywhere. In the square outside, there were sometimes events going on which we enjoyed watching from our room. We got a suite which had a beautiful bathroom. It was very clean and tidy.
