The only thing I could do was to go up the stairs, so it was extremely difficult to carry my luggage. However, the luggage storage was huge. The room was small, but the interior was beautiful.

A wonderful and charming hotel with a warm, atmospheric feel. The location is excellent — just a short and pleasant walk to the old town and the main pedestrian area. It’s the perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy the local vibe without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The ambiance and attention to detail make it a very comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Down side: This property has the feel of a hostel with individual rooms rather than a hotel - making the prices unfavorable. Digital checkin and checkout vexing. The hotel does not participate in the useful Füssen Card program for transit and museums. And we were notified that there was no breakfast a day or so before arrival, which was inconvenient - especially because of a national holiday.
In short, at a better price point, this would be a more favorable review. But we paid the same price here as in much better hotels and that was a problem.

It is a boutique hotel with no lift access, not so convenient to those carrying big luggages.

Easy parking and clean rooms, but the castle doesn't have an elevator. The town is fantastic! 👍🏻

Located in the heart of a small town, this is an older, well-established detached villa. Self-check-in is after 6 PM, and a €6 fee is automatically charged whether you have a car or not. There's no elevator, so be mindful if you have a lot of luggage. As for the room itself, the ceiling has a medieval count-like pattern, which was a bit spooky to wake up to in the middle of the night. Plus, there were way too many bugs. The location, however, is unbeatable.

A compact and clean room.
Considering the price of the accommodation, I was satisfied with the location and the telephone service.
The bathroom and shower were stylish and appealing, but I was concerned about the small size and the slightly low water temperature.
Also, the futon was a little thin, so when I turned on the oil heater on the second night, it became dry and I got a sore throat.

Nice and tastefully decorated boutique hotel.
Good and tasty breakfast buffet in the nice spacious and brightly decorated cellar.
Fine bathroom with nice rain shower.
The family room in nicely decorated but a bit smaller than in the photos on Booking which were probably taken with a wide-angle lens.
The hotel is located close to the old centre of Füssen.
Handy as a stopover on the way to winter sports in Italy.
The Olivenbauer restaurant at the end of the street is also recommended. Tasty and large portions, nice service and pleasant price level, very popular.
On-site parking spaces are paid and limited. Parking in the public car park is €15/day.
