MEININGER Hotel München Olympiapark in Munchen

I don't get the negative comments here!

This place is a decent hotel for that price range I believe!
The furniture is kinda modern and newish and the breakfast area is solid with all kinds of stuff and decent quality!
The rooms are good not best buy good!
Also it has a nice equipped kitchen for the ones who want to cook by themselves! Also the bar is good!
The distance between Marienplatz is kinda close with the tram like around 15 till 20 Minutes ride!

All in All a good hotel in that price range

Good service, comfortable family room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy communication. Breakfast and parking are very recommended. Easy to go to the center with the public transport. Olympic park to walk is 2 minuts away.

I stayed at this hotel with my family for seven days. The price was very attractive and affordable, and the room for six people was sufficient for us. Overall, it is a very good hotel for families. The rooms were quite new and offered a reasonable amount of space for six people. The staff were very friendly, and whenever we asked for something, they were always willing to help.
However, there were some drawbacks. There was no safe and no refrigerator in the room. Although there is a shared refrigerator in the kitchen, some of our belongings were stolen from it, even though they were clearly labeled with my name and room number. Room cleanliness was acceptable, but housekeeping was only done if we specifically requested it at the reception, which was somewhat inconvenient. There was no automatic daily cleaning, and for four days I had to repeatedly ask for clean towels for the shower, which were eventually provided after four days. Sometimes the cleaning was not up to the expected standard.
The room was also a bit cold. I informed the staff that we were staying with a child and asked if they could increase the heating temperature, but I was told that the heating system is automatic and they could not adjust it. The pillows were very poor, while the blankets were acceptable.
Despite these issues, the hotel was overall very good. It has an excellent location, situated directly next to a tram station and very close to the Olympic Park. There is also a nearby supermarket, and everything is within easy reach. What really raised my rating of the hotel was the very good attitude of the staff and the great location.

In general i liked our stay. Room was great an quiet.
I've booked breakfast and changed to a lunch-pack: didnt get any refund and content of the bags were just a water+apple+toast bread with a slice of cheese. Quite disappointing for the price it costs in my opinion.

This is a Nice friendly place. We stayed with two families. The rooms are perfect for family’s. And although there are also a lot of young people it felt really relaxed. We ordered dinner and could eat at the bar. The rooms are to hot. You cannot open the window so it feels really locked up. Would definitely do something about that. Even though it was winter it felt airless. München is very accessible from here. Would stay again if nthe windows could open.
