Cozy hotel bar with live music in the evenings.
However:
Instead of the 32-square-meter room I booked, I was given a 23-square-meter room upon check-in.
This was then sold to me as an "upgrade" because it was supposedly quieter than the 32-square-meter room, which was allegedly right next to the S-Bahn (suburban train)... After I complained, I was offered the option of moving into the room I had booked—after I had already unpacked everything...
So: either you get an incredibly noisy room, or a significantly smaller room than booked?
The air conditioning/heating is barely effective.
The room was only moderately warm and could hardly be heated with the air conditioning (it was -6°C outside).
Small, very cramped bathroom.
The minibar in the room was empty.
The room was only cleaned upon explicit request.
Despite these documents, the management refused to offer a free cancellation or any solution. It is a shame to see such rigid policies with zero compassion for health issues and disability. I do not recommend this place if you expect understanding customer service.
I will visit them again. They are very close to a train station. Plenty of restaurants around and shopping street is right across.
