I don't understand how the owner has the decency to raise the price tenfold for such rooms just for the duration of an exhibition?
The rooms are tiny. There's not even a kettle for coffee.
The room reeks of sewage. I recommend blocking the shower drain immediately to prevent the smell. On my first night, they even offered me a room in the basement with a tiny window in the ceiling, which I couldn't open to air out the room.
The refrigerator and the AC in the room did not work.

I recently had an extremely disrespectful and unacceptable phone call with an employee named "Katarina" from this hotel. She claimed that I might not receive my booked room because I made the reservation through Hotel.de rather than directly through the hotel! She audaciously suggested that I simply cancel my booking – despite my long-standing loyalty as a customer and the fact that my requests have always been honored in the past.

Shortly afterward, I received a call from the booking portal website, which falsely assumed that I want to cancel my booking – a blatant misinformation that was directly passed on from the hotel. This is not only grossly unprofessional but also constitutes an unlawful interference with a binding contractual relationship.

When I reported the incident to the management of hotel, I received an astonishing response, stating that "Katarina" had the full trust of the hotel management and that, due to my allegedly poor behavior, I was to blame as the customer! Furthermore, the hotel referred to its "house rights" to unilaterally cancel my booking – a clear violation of the legal basis of a binding reservation in Germany.

In the end, I have canceled my booking by myself, because I refuse to support a company with such rude, illegal and unacceptable practices. A hotel that treats its customers with such disrespect, protects unprofessional staff, and attempts to break contracts without any legal basis does not deserve a single cent of my money.

It is telling that the management blindly stands behind such an impudent employee instead of taking appropriate action. Instead of drawing consequences, they even tried to pressure and use dubious means to cancel my booking.

I will avoid this hotel in the future and will not recommend any one to book there.

Terrible hotel! We booked a ‘double room with private bath’ but when we arrived the room had a shower instead. Reception shrugged their shoulders and said the hotel is full so cannot change the room, very rude and unhelpful. I asked if our breakfast is included, was told yes but after we had the breakfast next morning we were told we had to pay! Breakfast was not good either. Once again, staff very rude and unpleasant.
Room not very sound proofed, could hear everything during the night and in the morning. The beside lamp was broken, fridge was broken, no kettle in room, marks all over the carpets, walls, head board list goes on.
