Porto Village Hotel offers an excellent experience for those seeking a relaxing getaway in Crete. The location is ideal, close to Hersonissos' lively town center but still quiet enough for a peaceful stay. The hotel's traditional Greek charm and beautiful gardens create a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The pool area is clean and inviting, perfect for unwinding, while the food served is fresh and delicious. Overall, it's a great value for a comfortable, authentic Cretan holiday.

really nice hotel, very nice staff, only downside is the wifi is so bad i had to use mobile data the whole trip (also in the rooms). other downside is that we had to wait 2 hours for our room to be ready. other than that we were very pleased with this hotel

Thank you to the fantastic staff at Porto Village Hotel from the cleaning, bar, breakfast, reception staff. The pools, gym and bar is nice and the location to the old towns or to the harbour is good. Some rooms are dated and authentic Greek but they are due to continue renovations.

My review is based on room 901.old and tired missing plug to Bath. Bath soap holder not screwed into wall. Mirror shelf broken. Door handle loose on cupboard. The room was a double with a kitchenette with a fridge. TV was small the only one English channel was sky news. Room was cleaned every two days, the cleaners where always on the go very polite. Outside our room we had a patio table and two chairs. Location to the gym was ten seconds from our room, pool and bar 1 mintues away. All communal areas are well maintained and clean. Dining area clean and plenty of of seating inside and outside. Food was basic with a few options. Staff to dining room very polite and helpful. The hotel is going through an up grade. A lovely hotel for what I paided for, this hotel is a great place to relax and chill out. Karaoke on a Sunday evening, every singer received a shot which which made a great evening. Monday the hotel put on a Greek night, all the dancers were amazing music was brilliant. The dancers encouraged everyone join in and dance. We had a wonderful experience.

Great hotel Village complex. Excellent location and a brilliant team of hosts (special shout out for Allyn and Fliorin, you really made our stay amazing)

Close to the main strip, good quality in all areas

The only improvement that could possibly be made was the food was hit and miss, som times Great, some times not so good and the buffet selection was very limited and often mismatched.

All in all we had an amazing holiday and will definitely be coming back!

Food here is pretty decent and some of the staff is very pleasant and welcoming.
But the rooms are not well maintained and very noisy. And while some complaints are taken seriously, others (like the lack of hot water in the shower) are answered with a simple "we know".
