Vasia Royal Hotel in Kato Gouves

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for a great experience on a budget. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Adonis, the manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay in this spotlessly clean hotel. Cleanliness is top of my priority list so it met my expectations immediately. Staff are all welcoming and friendly. I got 2 bottles of water added to my room daily which was a great help. Stylish decorating, a lift that works well and a shop plus bar if you want anything. Pools were super lovely, really peaceful beside the pool areas. There were 2 separate pools, I chose the one further from the bar and had many hours with no one sitting near me- perfect. So peaceful for reading, relaxing and napping should you so desire. My room was on the top (4th) floor so lovely views. I expected an inland view and was surprised to find I had a sea view which was a treat. The hotel kittens are pure joy! Loved them so much!! The negatives are expensive drinks in the hotel and not much locally to do, the closest shop was a little walk away and I’m not shy of a good walk. I had an exceptionally good stay here as a solo traveller on this occasion, I was really happy with my choice. Would go here again!

This is hands down cleanest hotel i have ever seen. Rooms building everywhere. Superb! The towels and sheets changed daily and washed for sure. Smells fantastic everytime. Honestly i cannot believe how clean dis place is. Food is not good. Dont get full board or all inclusive. Just b and b and go about your day. Car is a must. You wont be able to walk everywhere everyday. Taxi is expensive.

The hotel itself was clean and the Food was really good. The only problem is the Location. Theres No Shuttle Service to the Beach. You Walk for about 20 minutes to get there. The Beach is very nice though. Other than that and a few Cafés Theres nothing around the area and you either need to Rent a car or depend on the busses which are always Late.

The hotel is amazing , great location , very clean and modern .comfy beds and beautiful view from the balcony . The food was amazing fresh and delicious . The staff is great too specially manager Antonis, receptionist Sofia ,and Eleftheria , Thanasis , Kostis head chef , Geraldine and Richele . Will definitely return back . It has beautiful location to the Heraklion city and beaches . Walk distance to Dinosaurs land and Aquarium

Excellent staff !! They were super. Hotel quite basic - good value for money. It's not a resort. Hotel rooms could probably do with a bit more character, but its functional . Just make sure you rent a car, as there are no taxis and there is no food delivery around . Area is quite a let down . Cant compliment the staff enough though they are really super.

Had such a great experience here! Hotel has 2 very nice pools and lots of sun beds. Staff are amazing very helpful and friendly, especially Sofia at reception, the manager (Antoni) and our cleaning lady was also great. Sofia was very helpful with any info needed, any taxis needed, etc.
The hotel breakfast is buffet so you have a choice and a lot of variety so there is definitely something for everyone. Waiters were very attentive.
Would stay here again and cannot recommend the hotel enough but would also recommend renting a car.
