Frida Apartments in Chania Town

Hello, went to Frida apartments on 8th July. Wonderful reception from Manos on arrival. The room was exactly what we wanted, roomy, spacious and clean with a wonderful view. On our 1st day we walked into the nearby town of Hersonissos which could have everything you could imagine, from scenic views and lovely cafes and restaurants. The walk back is quite uphill but only about 20 minutes. On our 2nd day we saw nearby Piskopiano which is only 5 minutes away. Unfortunately I was suffering with severe stomach pains. We spoke to Manos who kindly arranged and gave us information to see a Doctor, from there I was taken to a medical centre who did an ultrasound and then rushed to Hospital where I had 3hour operation for acute ruptured appendix. Whilst having to spend the rest of the holiday in Hospital, Manor kept in touch with us for any needed information. This has not put me off returning to Crete or Frida apartments and look forward to a return trip. Whilst waiting for our return transfer he gave us another room so I could rest. I can't thank the hospitality and support from Manos, Frida apartments and all the surgeons/nurses who helped me in Crete. This place is beautiful an we look forward to returning. Lovely apartments, most with a sea view. Unusual to have 2 swimming pools although 1 is really more a plunge pool suitable for non-swimmers and children especially. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Great location if you want to visit Chania town as there is a free local bus 6 days a week from nearby car park. Nice beaches you can walk to within 10 mins. Nea Chora beach nearby is lots of good seafood restaurants. Would definitely visit again.

What a lovely friendly place. A great view, 2 fab pools (a bit cold tho), 5 mins walk to a Sandy beach, super breakfast especially the sour cherry jam & watermelon jam, lovely well equipped rooms & a daily service We are in the restaurant one night & it was scrummy 😋 I felt spoilt, safe & very comfortable I couldn't recommend it enough

Just back from 10 days at Frida Apartments in Chania Crete. First of all thank you to Frida and her wonderful staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We had breakfast in the on-site restaurant every morning with views of the sea. Fresh fruit and a selection of cheese,meat, cereal and Cretan food was available every morning. There are two swimming pools one just below the dining area and the other further down some steps. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day by the very friendly staff who were always in great form. The fabulous beach is about a 10 minute walk and Chania is about a 20 minute walk or a €7 taxi. We ate at the on-site restaurant on a couples of evenings sipping cocktails in the happy hour before dinner. Again thanks to all at Frida for looking after us so well. We will return.

Where to start with this perfect hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing! From Anna with her delicious cocktails, to Frida and her amazing recommendations. Nothing was to much to ask. We had the most amazing time from their fabulous pool to their delicious food at breakfast and lunch/ dinner. The pool was always quiet enough which was exactly what we wanted! Our room was perfect, great size with aircon, wifi and even Netflix to sign into! Everyone made us feel right at home. They are nice and close to the beach and about a 35 min walk to the old harbour. We opted for taxis each night which were only €8 and reception always had them ordered straight away for us. Everything was perfect and we would highly recommend this hotel to any couple who would like a quiet oasis away from the crowds at the harbour so you can have the best of both worlds! Deffinately a secret gem that we hope to return to. Thank you to all the staff for creating such a beautiful holiday for us xx

Everything, we know it was coming to the end of the season, didn't mind at all.
Staff were so welcoming, cleaning lady was great just loved it. Also the food and beer was delicious.
Oh and the frappe the best, we won't forget this holiday.

lovely place, with a glorious swimming pool, the staff is superb, ... the only problem was the apartment ... don't get the n.1, because the bedroom tis basically placed almost "into the reception " in front of the courtyard , ground floor , therefore no chance to keep the window open as well as the curtains, it might be a bit noisy during the night ( people and cars which come and go )

Very nice place! The apartments has two pools and a nice sea view. The restaurant has very tasty food and the staff is friendly. Strongly recommended!
