Relax Hotel in Agia Marina

Relax Hotel: Staying for 2 weeks and had a very nice and clean room on the second floor with a view of the pool. Very quiet place inside the area, great staff at the reception ("Thank you') , near to the shop where you can buy groceries, close to restaurants and we also tries mini-golf course around the area. Very comfortable to walk to the beach only 3 min walk, close to busses if you are planing to take a bus to Chania for a round 2 euros and the busses goes evey 30 min for 15 min ride.

Some things to point out are: The WiFi connection is not always on the top and unfortunately you can experience low connection and sometimes lose the connection, just in case to know. The other thing that we notice was that some of our neighbours where smoking and coud something disturb when you are sitting on the balcony or you had open door to the balcony. Talk to the receptionist and ask if there are areas "no smoking" - we totally missed that.

But in overall, it was very affordable price and everything work well at the room, we did also pay additionally 40 euros per week having AC, but you can choose to only have AC the days you wish.

We are happy to find this good hotel and can really recommend it if you are looking for an affordable hotel to stay with enough of benifits for the price.

We went for a two-day relax and the impressions it left us were the best!!! Our room was spacious, the bathroom clean, separately the shower, separately the toilet, very important for a family!! The breakfast was neat, rich, a little a larger space was needed for people to move more comfortably in the buffet areas!! The girls at the reception very kind and friendly!!

This is a really nice hotel with clean and nicely laid out rooms, friendly and helpful staff and a breakfast that is regularly topped up. Great pool too. The rooms are cleaned daily which is not something that always happens here. Great shower too. 3 minutes from the beach and restaurants just a few minutes away.

Very nice hotel at an affordable price. The rooms are simple but have everything you need for a good stay. Great pool bar serving breakfast, drinks and snacks all day long and a lovely bartender! Highly recommend having a room with a sea view :)

Comfortable and clean basic self catering accommodation. One bedroom apartment had everything we needed for a week as we ate out for main meals. We had salads and sandwiches for lunches in the apartment but would probably have struggled to cook main meal other than a one pot dish...could have done with a kettle but has pans to boil water so not really an issue.
Staff helpful and quick to respond when we had problem with electric ring blowing the electric and air con. Was hot so glad it was fixed quick! Air con initially seemed quite expensive at 10 euro a day but we did have separate units for each room and it was very effective. The smaller apartments pay less.
Hotel is split on two levels. We stayed in section nearer the main road which was near to the beach and restaurants...an excellent location although some noise from road and bar nearby may put some people off. We enjoyed sitting on balcony late evening listening to singer and guitar from bar next door.
Second half of hotel is up steep steps and is located with sister hotel the Orion...Orion has its own separate pool and snack bar which we could use if we wished. All looked good but we were happy to sunbathe near our apartment. There was a lovely warm pool in our part of the hotel which was part shaded most of the day...giving some respite from the heat. The Elotis apartments next-door had a pool bar which was more convenient for us to use for drinks. Small supermarket next door had all we needed and was reasonably priced for the area.
We liked the beach bar called Poseidon where you could get free sunbeds if you were a customer...10 mins walk and lovely lively stretch of sandy beach with shallow waters.

Basic very clean rooms, friendly staff. You need to pay extra if air conditioning is needed, as well as for internet in the rooms.
We had a great stay here.
Easy to get around in English.
