Chania Town, Papanastasiou 100 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We had a very good time there! Clean rooms, new furniture, satisfying breakfast with local products, and very helpful staff! My only problem was the very soft bed mattress, but that's just my personal opinion
The hotel is located at suburbs, the motorway is easily approachable if you want to visit some other places. It is really clean and nice. Staff is super nice. I give a warm recommendation for this place.
Super clean bedroom and good mattress. Buses (number 20) at 10 minutes to and from the city right in front of the hotel. Just maybe a kettle in the room would have been appreciated
Very nice staff and nice rooms. But what I like the most is that's in a very local neighborhood, which is very pleasant to explore and discover. Would recommend it!
It's a bit far from Chania center but if you have a car is not a problem. The rooms are good looking, the owner helpful, recommended!
Very nice hotel, but a little far to the center.

Chania Town, 74 Anagnostou Mantaka (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Since our next destination was Santorini by boat from Crete, which could only depart from Heraklion port, we opted to take a boat from Athens to Chania first, and then a bus from Chania to Heraklion
The facilities were quite good, and any minor issues we raised were quickly resolved. The front desk staff were also very helpful in providing information about various places in the surrounding area
Crete has two main cities: Heraklion, the cradle of Western civilization, and Chania (also known as Chania), a city repeatedly invaded by other empires
Considering we'd be traveling by bus for the next two days, we chose this hotel close to the Chania Bus Station, less than 400 meters away
They have very friendly staff. Very clean and very relaxing place 😌 you can talk with them and take more suggestions to visit. Highly recommended.
Comfy rooms with no noise. Staff very friendly and helpful! Great location! 5 mins walk from coach station and 10 from the old town,

Chania Town, Eleftheriou Venizelou 150 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The rooms are vintage in a delightfully comfortable way. Breakfast is customized each day to your preferences and a delicious array of choices are available. The only slight downside is the pool garden
Exceptional Villa with the most amazing view! The rooms are spacious and very clean! The Villa keeps the traditional style and is well kept. The outdoor pool and garden are great with plenty of shade
The villa is very close to the old town of Chania and very close to 2-3 of the nearest beaches
The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly ; the ladies that keep the house clean and serve our breakfast are the heart and soul of the villa! The breakfast includes homemade jams and Cretan traditional food that was delicious
A beautiful restored mansion which transports you into the fairytale world of your long lost great aunt. That is if your great aunt was a wealthy diplomat's wife. The service is warm and personal
The staff were happy to accommodate requests for breakfast- not something i've ever experienced at larger hotels. Thanks to all the staff- we rarely return to the same holiday destination but we will to Villa Andromeda !

Hotel located in the Venetian part of Chania, close to many taverns, shops and beaches. Staff were wonderful and helpful when required. The room we had was spacious and nicely restored
I absolutely ADORED this hotel in Chania!!! It was such a gorgeous space and in a really good location, in amongst the old town but still convenient when we had a car as we just parked in the street over by the water (like a 5 minute walk)
Also the windows trap much of the noise from streets outside but some noise did carry through into room - didn’t affect us too much too. Couple extra water + coffee would have been appreciated
The man serving breakfast was so friendly! Thanks for the orange juice The rooms were lovely and nicely sized. Modern with traditional touches
The room was a bit noisy on one night as we were by the spiral stairs up to the roof and the wood floor carried noise
Only 1 small water bottle and coffee pod each day. But overall nice stay- thank you

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Balance Hotel in Chania. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy, the rooms were cleaned every day and the whole place felt very well taken care of
What truly made our stay special were the people. The staff were so kind and genuinely caring, always ready to help with a smile. On the day of our departure, we had to leave at 4 a
They went the extra mile all the time, always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything. We genuinely loved everything about my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
We recently stayed at Balance Hotel on our trip to Chania, Crete for 5 days and were amazed with all aspects that this hotel had to offer. The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and informative
We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed—everything I could ask for. What really stood out, though, was the staff
This little hotel located at a 10 min walking distance from the old town and close all the points of interest was really enjoyable ! The hotel really holds that zen vibe and is really luminous 🧘🏼‍♀️🌱 You can rent bikes and towels for free from the reception 🚲⛱️ The jacuzzi/hot tub was really nice as well as the shower 🙏🏻 And lastly, the breakfast was really amazing ! 😍🫶🏼 Thank you to Georgia and...

Chania Town, Dorotheou Episkopou 24 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I happily use the Elia hotel chain when visiting Chania. Great staff, very helpful receptionists, excellent breakfast, facilities that exceed your expectations. Overall, the service is absolutely exceptional
Budget hotel in the elia hotel family. Very good value for the money. A largish room, clean, great bed, air conditioning, fridge, and all the toiletries a good hotel provides (dental, shaving, shower kits)
However, the window couldn't close completely shut, and there was a lot of noise from the many restaurants nearby. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel!
Fantastic stay at Elia Dorotheou. The location and service was AMAZING 👏 Modern room with the yummiest breakfast 😋 Looking forward to coming back next year
Perfect location when staying in Chania and you want to be close to the harbour and restaurants. The room is clean, spacious and with air-conditioning
Well lighted with lots of spare power sockets for your charging needs

Candia Hotel, Chania Town1 / 20
8.9
Chania Town, Malaxies & Skinner (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The views of Chania were spectacular, especially the beach with its wave sounds. Candia is at a perfect location - 2 minutes walk to Nea Chora Beach, the promenade and restaurants
The items available at the desk were a lifesaver - pool and beach items, water, beer, snacks, etc. The location is perfect - close to the main area but without the all night noise
You can also take about a 10 min walk to Old Chania, shops, or 15 min to the city center. One may also take a bus nearby, if more beach exploration is desired
A Great Place with Great Staff The room was 4th floor, seaside view. There were two rooms, a kitchenette, and A/C. It was clean and looked good
The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-kept, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hospitality is truly warm and welcoming – the staff are always ready to help with tips, directions, or just a friendly smile
Thank you for making our night! In fact the entirety of staff was extremely helpful, extra nice and genuine. Many compliments to Maria, at reception (and everywhere else really), who always took care of us with a smile

Chania Town, Parodos Kanevarou 32 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
What made my stay especially memorable were the wonderful hosts. Alexandra and another gentleman (I believe his name was Andreas?) were incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely kind
La Maison Ottomane is truly a hidden gem in Chania’s Old Town. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Venetian harbor and all the restaurants and shops
From the moment I arrived, they made me feel so welcome and at home. The breakfast each morning was homemade and freshly cooked, which was such a treat. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared
Tucked away in a quiet corner, La Maison Ottomane provided unexpected serenity and charm with great convenience to tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront
There are only THREE rooms so book this beauty in advance! Because we had to leave for the airport at 7am, Alex left breakfast in our room when she cleaned our room the day before so we could have a bite before heading to the airport
Our stay at La Maison Ottomane was lovely! It was very clean, had artwork that was unnecessarily refined and beautiful, and breakfast was a lavish experience

A Bright Example of Greek Hospitality – Simply the Best! We apologize for the late review (we stayed in May), but we simply had to take the time to communicate to the world that Roula, the owner, and her entire team at Deluxe Hotel deserve every bit of recognition and acknowledgement for their outstanding hard work and hospitality
The cleaning lady did a great job, came back on the second day to find everything in place, she even hanged up a few clothes which we had left on the bed! Also, super sweet lady at the reception, always so helpful and kind
Every single staff member, from reception to housekeeping, was a bright example of what Greek hospitality is all about. Every interaction and request was met with genuine professionalism and friendliness
The experience of having the local Saturday market right outside our door was a lovely bonus, giving us a great opportunity to soak up the local hustle and bustle and feel a genuine cultural connection right on our doorstep
Truly, anything we asked for was never an issue. The location is second to none -it's absolutely perfect. We were near everything we could possibly need, yet completely shielded from any unwanted noise
Our room was always spotless, the amenities were very satisfactory, and the overall value was excellent. The price we paid was more than fair for all the comfort, service, and location we received

Great Nice hotel in a good place
Fantastic staff. Also very convenient all restaurants, bars, and excursion pickups are in walking distance. The house keeping cleaned the place daily.
Very comfortable and spacious room in the old city. Close to everything you need. Restaurants, shops, bus station.
Lovely Room in Great Location but Mind the Stairs The property is very centrally located, and the room was lovely and clean
Great location in the old town!
A small hotel with just a few rooms and no front desk. You get the key to the front door to open it up when you return. No elevator. But it was clean and cozy and had a teensy balcony over the little street below.

Great location, very close to the beach and very close to the old town. Nice room, shower and kitchen upstairs. Parking in the yard, very safe. Totally recommend!
Very good location, big car park and perfect to walk around in Chania. There's a cycling path infront the road to Irene and next to a restaurant. Lovely details in the rooms, and the kitchen are more the well equipped
Small but compact with everything you need. The host was lovely as well because there were some issues with messaging on booking. com but their daughter waited for us and was so friendly and helpful when we arrived
Nice, clean, and very well equipped apartments. At a walking distance of the old town. Very useful and attentive staff. Michalis contacted us previously to our arrival for precise and accurate directions
We stayed in the downstairs apartment for a night and it's small but it's got everything you need and the shower is great. Parking is 5€ for a day which you pay to the host directly
I'm sure I'll have another chance to visit Crete, and when the time comes, I would definitely stay at your place! Thank you! [from TaeHwa]

Lovely, clean and well equiped apartment. Had a couple of issues in the shower room. Shower drain blocked and flooded the room, toilet seat broken. Reported these issues and was rectified the next morning
The staff was extremely helpful, especially when I had locked myself out late in the night and had to call them for help. They not only were SUPER nice about it, they were super quick to help
We have just returned from Chania, Crete and this hotel we called it our home for about 7 nights. Our room was quite spacious with a comfy double bed, shower was perfect and so relaxing
The room was amazing, far exceeding my expectations (I was shocked to how big and nice it was), and it was right in the heart of Chania (2 minute walk from everything)
Really good value, pleasant rooms, with comfortable beds. The owners are very friendly, and helpful. 100% this is where I would stay, if I return to Chania.

Chania Town, 13, Agion Deka Str, Old Harbor (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel only has 7 rooms and Eleutheria and the ladies who prestar this hotel were amazing! Be advised that there is no parking around this hotel as it's in the pedestrian district of Old Town Chania so do your research about parking beforehand! Also, there is no elevator so I would advise not taking a large suitcase (as I did)
If the world was not so big, with so much to see, we would love to go back to Chania for a stay at this hotel every year. If you are searching for a hotel in Chania, quit, and book a room at the Palazzo di Pietro
No words can describe the hospitality of the owner, Eleutheria. The hotel was absolutely spotless, right in the middle of the old town with restaurants, shops and everything in between
Wonderful Old Town Location! We had a wonderful stay. The service and location are both excellent. We hope to be back again someday. I also want to thank you for your help before our arrival regarding parking our vehicle
The kitchenette had everything you need to make a light meal. The room was spacious and very clean. The room had AC which was surprising! Excellent location for exploring Chania
I really felt like I was staying in someone's home here and I can't recommend this hotel enough! We rented a car but it stayed parked the whole time as everything is walkable

The hotel was nice, even though the room was a bit small. The view was beautiful, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great, and I especially enjoyed the breakfast
Picture 1 shows someone else's real sea view B&B blocked in front of the hotel. After checking in at the front desk, a middle-aged woman came to greet me. She was the worst person in the whole process
Great location, clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast. Special mention to Manuel the restaurant supervisor who was very courteous and helpful. Will stay here again.
Immaculate hotel with large spacious rooms. Lovely balcony with a sea view. Breakfast was a’la carte and was delicious. Makes a lovely change from a buffet. Staff were all extremely friendly and always helpful
With all due respect, the hardware of a three-star hotel is the service of a Motel. The B&Bs in the front row are extremely friendly. When we went to the beach, they asked us if we wanted to drink mineral water
It was already noon when we arrived in Chania. I was really looking forward to checking into the most expensive hotel on this trip. The room picture looked directly at the sea

The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay in Chania. Their recommendations on aight to aee and restaurants to eat at were spot on
The hotel is beautiful and located in the heart of the old town. WEMe even got a room upgrade!
Such a wonderful place in a great part of the town, highly recommended...
Don’t expect much, but that’s okay, you’re there for the charm, experience and location! My particular room was perfect for 1 person, but would not be comfortable for two - which was fine since I was meeting family after Crete
Excellent location in the old town, you can walk everywhere and there are lots of great restaurants nearby. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the street, and with the windows closed at night it was very quiet
We ended up parking at Parking Plaza, Pireos 3, Chania which is a 350 meter walk from the hotel and is next to a handy supermarket. (We bought coffee pods there as the hotel only provides enough for one day)

This hotel was perfect on all aspects, the room was amazing, big very clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony and the swimming pool was brilliant! I really enjoyed the spa and the interior pool as well
We spend two special night here. The rooms were well designed, the breakfast was superb, and the service was flawless. Was also very nice to have our own private pool with a view out over the city and lighthouse
Great spot ! Would recommend Super sweet staff and reception (very knowledgeable and always willing to help with any request) ! The included breakfast is spectacular and has a lot of choices to pick from the night before ! The highlight was however the impeccable view of all of Chania from our room and sunset ! Very glad we stayed there on our honey moon !
The restaurant of the hotel was perfect too, the food was really good. But most importantly, the staff of the hotel was highly professional and the nicest people! All of them were very good to us and treated us so well
AN INCREDIBLY PLACE, CLEAL AND WELL PUT TOGETHER. CHARMING STAFF. I WAS A LITTLE CONFUSED BY THE BREAKFAST, 1 CHOICE CARD FOR TWO PEOPLE? WHAT CAME WAS NICE BUT NOT AS EXPECTED.
I include everyone in the staff including the cleaning lady who was so lovely too. All in all this might have been my best holiday in a very long time if not ever

This place is amazing to stay at. The views are priceless, the location to everything is convenient, the staff goes above & beyond to make sure you have everything you need and your stay is exceptional
We stayed 4 nights at the Ambassadors Residence in Chania. It is in a great location on the waterfront, and we stayed in a room with a view of the water. The highlight of our stay was the staff
Into the Old Harbour area, by the sea side, an ideal place to spend one's holidays. Easy access to restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, clean and are showered by the sun-light
We booked some trips and found not having to drive added to the relaxing nature of the trip. Staff on reception were lovely and came up with some good suggestions for dinner. Breakfast was fine in the restaurant below
We worried that it might be noisy but although you could hear music a couple of nights it didn’t stop us from getting a good night. Plenty of towels and nice toiletries

I cannot praise this hotel enough, no matter how many words I include in my review. The Serenissima Hotel is simply perfect in every way from the staff, to the central but quiet location and it's fantastic breakfast
3-night stay in Chania Old Town A beautiful boutique hotel, perfectly located for exploring Chania and close to the harbour. We stayed in a standard room (no 1) which was very clean and comfortable but not spacious
The staff were truly phenomenal and made our stay in Chania even more special. I can not wait to go back and spend a few more days in this magical hotel being spoiled by the best hoteliers in all of Crete
Wonderful hotel in very convenient location close, but not too close to the old town. Loved the aesthetics and amenities as well as very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel.
Most of all, 10/10 service -- we were the tourists who didn't know we had to park a few blocks away and carry all our luggage to the hotel (because a lot of the area is walking only)

Excellent stay. The staff is very helpful and full of recommandations. The view from the room is very beautiful as the pool on the roof top. Rooms are clean. Large breakfast choice with local dishes.
SanSal and the employees provides exceptional service. The rooms and the view where clean and modern. The food at the pool bar was very reasonable and tasty. I will definitely be back to this hotel.
The hotel staff was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room for free. The room was very spacious and clean. The terrace had a beautiful view, facing the sea, and you could see the lighthouse
It's not a very big hotel, with six or seven floors and four or five rooms on each floor. The room faces the sea, the view is great, and I fall asleep every night listening to the sound of the waves
The room isn't huge but it's perfectly fine and very comfortable. It's clean, and the service is great. The absolute highlight of this hotel is the breakfast – it's incredibly delicious!
