The resort is huge so although it was full, you couldn’t feel it. Nice activities, lots of pools, you can always find a spot with a sun bed in one of the pools. The variety of food is good and you can can always find what (and where) to eat. We had a great time!

This is a lovely resort, really quite unique as it's like being in a village. There are 7 restaurants which is nice as you can have a different dinner experience instead of the buffet all the time. We had a great stay here over the past few days. Great food, drinks, beach and vibes. We especially liked Aris at Idaia bar who made us great cocktails! The hotel is divided into different areas making it great for families with lots of activities, and couples who want their quiet areas and great drinks and music with a view. I spent a week at the resort all-inclusive with my daughter. After initially being given a somewhat noisy room, we requested a quieter one, which was immediately accommodated. Myself and my partner have really enjoyed our stay at Lyttos Mare. The service from bar staff has been spot on. The entertainment has been amazing... in particular John who is a very warm and funny character. We were very lucky to revieve an upgrade on our room which had a pool!

We booked a different hotel and really didn’t feel comfortable so found this place and transferred here the same night of check in. We were so relieved. Great food, friendly staff, drinks are amazing and the bar staff takes their time to prepare them, beautiful beach and the spa was very relaxing. My daughter and I enjoyed our facials!

I did enjoy this hotel. This is likely due to the time of our stay ( last week of the season) but that doesn't matter. A few draw backs though.... Drinks are awful. The soft drinks were so poor quality and the lager dreadful. Having no wi fi in the rooms challenges it's 4 star rating as does paying to play pool. The complex is beautiful and the room was clean and tidy. The staff are polite and extremely helpful. A vast selection of food is available and it's delicious, the food was the best I've had in a long while. All in all, I cannot find anything negative to say about this place. We stayed for a week in a suite with a private pool and loved it. The staff were excellent to a fault, especially the bar staff - couldn't rate them high enough. The food was much better than your average all inclusive resort, especially the Veranda for breakfast (courtesy of our room) and Abrazo Mexican. If you're going to Crete and want a 5 star resort then you should consider the Stella Palace....

My only circumstances are bottled water is not free . No shower near main pool . Thoroughly enjoyed a week here in mid-October. Great food options and some fun on-site activities. Pools were chilly, but it was near the end of the season so not surprising and because it is not a winter resort I don't expect outdoor pools to be heated.
