Wonderful weeks break, the hotel location is a short walk into Stalis and on the beach. Plenty of pools to relax for adults or spend quality time with kids if a family. Particular highlights was the Oinos wine bar, spar and Karos in an evening with great entertainment for all

I arrived at the hotel after a 20 hour travel to find there was no hot water for shower. Over the next week, there was no hot water about half the time. We arrived at the hotel around midnight after a late flight and check-in was smooth and efficient with us being shown personally to the room and all its features. I had pre-emailed ahead requesting to be allocated room 61, which had been confirmed. However, upon arrival, we were given room 63 instead. Despite the name "Galazio Beach Hotel", be aware that beach beds and umbrellas are not included — you have to pay extra to use them, which was disappointing and misleading. Housekeeping and towel replacement were only every two days. Cleanliness was ok. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice, relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant pool area. Delicious breakfast.

Upon arrival I was 'upgraded' to a more quite room in the back, since I was staying for two weeks. Unfortunately there were a lot of dogs around the property, so every time you opened the door to get some air in after 6pm, dogs on both sides would go off in a barking contest. We are walking the Corfu trail with 3 Friends, and this hotel was perfect for our stop! Everybody was so friendly and enthousiastic. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Good beds , no noise, good shower! Would recommend.

A wonderful stay for just 1 night on a cycling tour. It was our favourite stopover. The family were all so friendly and helpful, when our luggage hadn’t arrived from the previous hotel. Bella Vista is a small, family run hotel. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest beach (40 mins) but what it offers more than compensates for this. Eli, Spiros and Melanie are the most welcoming team we have ever had the pleasure to meet. I am sorry not to know the name of the chef, the other breakfast lady and the lovely housekeeper. The location will provide a very authentic experience of Crete....
