We arrived at the hotel around midnight after a late flight and check-in was smooth and efficient with us being shown personally to the room and all its features. Despite the name "Galazio Beach Hotel", be aware that beach beds and umbrellas are not included — you have to pay extra to use them, which was disappointing and misleading. Housekeeping and towel replacement were only every two days. Cleanliness was ok. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice, relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant pool area. Delicious breakfast.

Upon arrival I was 'upgraded' to a more quite room in the back, since I was staying for two weeks. Unfortunately there were a lot of dogs around the property, so every time you opened the door to get some air in after 6pm, dogs on both sides would go off in a barking contest. Cretan Garden is situated away from the beaches. If you want to go to a good beach and enjoy Crete, you will need to rent a car, because you will find them at 30 min.-1 h away from the hotel. The rooms were dirty. They cleaned our rooms only in the first 3 days. After that, they took only the trash and changed the towels (every 2 days, not daily).
