A small slice of heaven on Crete. All around great place run by a committed family sitting within a short distance of the beach and places to eat and drink. We stayed at the hotel next door and we were only having breakfast at Voula, but I have to praise the hospitality of the staff. They even lent their baby chair for our room for free during our whole stay, even though we did not stay there. The breakfast was also very good.

We stayed in the garden apartment with my family and it was wonderful, cozy garden, terrace and despite the central location of the hotel - silence in the room. Beach 5 minutes walk. Had a great stay here. Personel is friendly and we got some great tips about things to do in the area. Before this we had a very dissapointing 4 star hotel, so this was a really pleasant surprise. Vip room is a bit more expensive, but totally worth it for the view alone.

We arrived at the hotel around midnight after a late flight and check-in was smooth and efficient with us being shown personally to the room and all its features. I had pre-emailed ahead requesting to be allocated room 61, which had been confirmed. However, upon arrival, we were given room 63 instead. Despite the name "Galazio Beach Hotel", be aware that beach beds and umbrellas are not included — you have to pay extra to use them, which was disappointing and misleading.
