Fantastic family holiday at Lyttos Beach We had a wonderful stay at Lyttos Beach. The hotel has excellent facilities, and the staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable

One of the best resorts we’ve ever encountered: amazing food variety and quality, competent and friendly staff, excellent facilities, great beach and pools, convenient location.

The beach is amazing, the pools are very nice and clean, the staff and dining was great, we had an amazing time and we’re very happy that we booked this resort for two weeks!

Plus, there’s a beach bar for drinks! 🍹 🎤 Entertainment Evening entertainment is based at the amphitheatre, offering a kids’ disco, local acts, and animation team productions

The sports facilities at the Lyttos Beach Sports Centre are world-class, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy

The facilities are great but many people still used towels to reserve sunbeds even though the resort states towels will be removed (they were not). We traveled in October half term and were very lucky with the wether

The staff at the Enomy main buffet restaurant were mostly okay but many staff were rude or not attentive at all (we sat waiting for cutlery and to be asked our drinks order for ages and then had to try and find someone)

Really great beautifully decorated communal areas and a really classy bar with great cocktails. Everything was just SO easy and pleasant so we could concentrate on spending time together as a family and having fun

This is a lovely resort, really quite unique as it's like being in a village. There are 7 restaurants which is nice as you can have a different dinner experience instead of the buffet all the time

Most staff we came across were friendly and helpful, especially at the bars and reception

The sea was a bit wavy but there were lots of sunbeds and around the pools as well

Only milk make it better ? But in Spar water is just 0. 5 Euro If you need long beach take the bus to Malia And don't stay in the hotel all the time. Take some excursions just in front of hotel

All round good service but had problems with the A/C, bunk beds were slack and flimsy, food was a bit canteen ish and not a great choice, add more alcohol to the all inclusive list because what you have is not much and fix your slides because where they join together needs to be filled as there like a cheese grater when you go over them

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days recently and I will definitely be returning, perfect for children, they absolutely loved the pools, play areas and slides

To be honest reading the reviews I was dreading coming here! I can honestly say we’ve had the best time here! The kids have loved it they’ve been busy all week with kids clubs discos every night for them the entertainment staff have been fantastic :) they been playing in pools all day and the rooms are nice as well

Disco each night was a bit repetitive but kids loved learning the same dances. food could be a bit better but we always found something to eat as there’s plenty of option. Our room was very clean with a perfect sea view

Everything for the family stay is here. Plenty of attraction, few pools and bars. Besides that location is great- everything nearby including clubs bars and restaurants

The pool area is ok,end of season and the grass was well worn and dirty,the pool waa freezing so only the odd brave person in there! Maria was the loveliest waitress though and ensured we never went without anything

Overall we had a good time and would possibly go back but not in peak season as I can imagine the pools and main restaurants get very busy. Would give it an overall 8/10

My personal opinion has been it's been difficult to entertain the children here for the last week at the end of October. The pools are absolutely freezing. In fact even though the sea is cold it's warmer than the pools

A special mention to Maria at the pool bar who was always so lovely and looked after us perfectly around the pool

And that heating very pool is unrealistic. It's tiny and it wouldn't cost you alot to heat it. It could really use the investment. The mini golf is tired, broken and old and could also use some investment

The final issue is the indoor pool which was tired looking and had no entertainment for the kids there. There clearly used to be a bar there as well

Great food, friendly staff, drinks are amazing and the bar staff takes their time to prepare them, beautiful beach and the spa was very relaxing. My daughter and I enjoyed our facials!

We were very lucky to revieve an upgrade on our room which had a pool!

The massage here was really good. I was treated by Albora, she was very friendly and polite, and the massage was perfect. The products smell amazing. Highly recommended!!!

I visited the spa with my daughter for the Cretan masssage. We both thouroughly loved this and would recommend. Albora is very good.

We booked a different hotel and really didn’t feel comfortable so found this place and transferred here the same night of check in

Service throughout the hotel was amazing and cannot fault at all. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Beach is a pebble/rocky beach, this didnt bother us as we were happy by the pool

There's an astro pitch, tennis courts and arcades and pool table for other entertainment. Unfortunately, didn't get an opportunity to try the sushi bar but it looked really nice

Our second stay this year! Amazing hotel. I'd accidently booked the wrong room type, and we were upgraded for free. Giannis provided excellent service around the pool

The hotel itself is amazing with three pools and plenty of bars with four a la crate restaurants and a sushi bar alongside the main restaurant

The food at the restaurant was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve ever had. The location was also perfect — close to everything, yet quiet and relaxing

The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a stunning view. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch — from the high-speed Wi-Fi to the luxurious bathroom products

Can go to the beach too which is owned by another hotel but that's fine. Some people say the pool towels cost extra but the first one is free and you're free to use it throughout the week

There's also a convienient laundry rack in the rooms. The food was fine, maybe needed some more salt at times. We arrived quite late and they even had a cold buffet waiting for us which we didn't expect!

We had a wonderful stay at Arminda with our 2YO daughter. The location is great with easy access to a beach which is excellent for swimming, and close to local towns for authentic dining & sightseeing

One of those events per night. Our kids loved the food variety, pool and entertainment provided. Lots of activities for kids which allowed for some adult time too. Check-in and out staff were helpful with advice too

The kids klubb was lovely for my cousins. The entertainment was so nice and put in a lot of effort. My aunt went there last year and the hotel and entertainment has had a great improvement. Wonderful!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. A 20-30min drive from Heraklion. Different pools to choose from and some water slides. Although the water was a bit on the colder side in October but we still swam

The most beautiful beach in the area is the one in front of the Hotel Meditereneo and right in front of the open-air museum on the beach. The center of Hersosissos is lively and has many local shops

Arrived home from here on Thurs 30/10/25. I travelled with my two daughters age 17 and 15. I was worried after seeing some reviews and that we were going late season

The hotel's outstanding quality is its staff. The reception is very professional. I'm thinking especially of Maria at reception, who was incredibly helpful and saved our stay by finding a suitable room for my mother

The hotel is well located, but it's a 1 km walk to the beach and 2 km to the town center. I recommend renting a car if you want more comfort and save time

People in Crete, in general, are grumpy. Im talking about local people not but stranger workers. I've rarely seen anything like it. On the other hand, the foreign workers are always polite and helpful

I'm also thinking of Evita, who is very polite, patient, kind, and always smiling. Mike Junior is very polite, friendly, and communicates well. In the restaurant, Eva and Maya were amazing

It’s very unusual to have this paid, while other hotels nearby offer it for free. Ice-cold swimming pools at this time. Very few people dared to bathe there. The sea was warmer than the pool

Room cleaned (very quickly) every day, main toiletries like shampoo and soap provided. The animation team was great during the day and kids' disco night were awesome. NEGATIVES: Paid WiFi in the rooms

The food was good, lots of fresh fruits and salads, perfect for the hot weather

Solid 4* hotel, but not 5* and here few notes: Positive moments: Lots of greenery with plants and trees everywhere, the feeling is like in private mini tropical garden

2 big swimming pools! Cool! What was not very comfortable - it is entrance in the sea, there were a lot of stones, for children it is not good

The food was really high quality every meal. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pools are nice, especially the one where you can sit at the bar inside the pool

What really stood out was the incredible service from all the staff. They were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The pool food staff were particularly great, handling a special food order for us with a smile

We had a wonderful time at the resort. We enjoyed the spa. The food was very good. We enjoyed the community cats also. We will be back. Nick was a very big help to us throughout our entire stay.

If you're going to Crete and want a 5 star resort then you should consider the Stella Palace. We didn't try the Aqua Park, but from the screams it sounded like everybody was enjoying themselves

Food, staff, rooms and all facilities are great. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. The swim-up was fantastic, quiet most of the time and waiter service to pool side was unexpected but appreciated

many sunbeds are already reserved with towels (an issue the hotel could manage more strictly), and in the restaurants some parents let their children watch videos on phones or tablets at high volume

We stayed for a week in a suite with a private pool and loved it. The staff were excellent to a fault, especially the bar staff - couldn't rate them high enough

Food gets a bit samey over a two week stay but that is normal in a two week stay. Beach is nice but the water is weedy. Main gripe is the sunbeds and umbrella issue

What I didn’t like was that there was no separation between smoking and non-smoking areas — people smoked everywhere: by the sea, by the pool, and even in the pool. Smoking was also allowed in the reception area

We recommend this and say look beyond any negative reviews as it lovely!! Theres a lovely jewellery shop inside hotel with the man that makes the jewellery his name is Thanossis and he is lovely, i bought an earring and pendant set handmade that is beautiful!! All in all for the price we recommend this hotel as a lovely stay , relaxing with nice surroundings, beach and bars! Hope to see them again...

This is our last full day at Serita Beach hotel. We have been here for 9 nights and was here the same last October 2024! After having such a lovely holiday last year we came back with the family and grandchildren

Theres a spa we have had massages which were lovely. Sunbeds and pools are nice and the beds are very comfy

After reading some of the recent reviews I was apprehensive before our recent holiday at Serita Beach Hotel

The location of the hotel is ideal. It is near all the local amenities. There is a supermarket around the corner which I believe is open until late. We found a little farmers market where we bought gifts

There is a lot do there on and off site. The atmosphere is very peaceful the white sofas in reception give that calming effect. with orange juice and are checked in very quickly

I forgot the lady's name but you checked us and you were lovely. We came off a late flight and we offered food which was very thoughtful. However a tour of the hotel would have been ideal at this point

Really beautiful hotel. Good food. Great location. The rooms opened to the private pool area are really great. Staff are very nice. Really quit and calm.

Fantastic Holiday from start to finish the most amazing experience, service beyond expectation. Breakfast was varied and very nice every day. Dinners were also especially nice

Not only are there 2 pools, but also a sea down the street. You can ride jetskis in the sea. There's also a bar, an 8-ball place and a lot of shops nearby from this hotel

The staff were lovely and hard working, the hotel was very clean and smelt really nice. The location is perfect, you are a 2 minute walk to the nearest beach and there are lots of bars/restaurants and shops nearby

The food was varied and you can order food/drinks straight to your sun lounger when chilling by the pool, there were always sun loungers available too. The hotel had a lovely vibe and it wasn't too noisy

So generous with free wine tasting, cocktail and cooking class experience, very close to the beach and restaurants and surrounding villages - plenty to do ! The staff were accommodating and willing to please answering any questions or requests

My stay at the hotel 06-11 October was perfect. The workers of the hotel were hospitable and pleasant. Rooms are always tidy and good equipped. I had nice view on the street and the beach

The cool elevator had Greek music while you are inside! Pleasant relaxing smell in the lobby lounge made me feel like home and always welcomed. To the beach was 3 minutes walk

Very nice place for families and very nice staff. Walters at the resturant very kind. The cook was very nice also. Great menu and dishes.

Our room was a corner swim up junior suite, with one set of doors to the pool and the other to the garden with the beach just beyond

Theres a photographer will take your pics in evening before dinner, then you can buy them printed next morning in breakfast. Nice beach , we love it, dont forget to bring your beach shoes

You could order specific wines at an additional cost if you wanted a bottle at the restaurant with food, juice, beer (draft or corona) but we found the 3 types each of white, 3 rose and 3 red were more than an adequate range to suit most palates

The Chicken Parmesan from Levante dinner menu is the best I’ve ever had and the mini steak sliders and Mille-feuille dessert from the Floga steak restaurant amazing; but in all honesty every dish from every restaurant was fantastic

The food itself was faultless- so fresh with lots of choice and the orange juice just out of this world! We are Scottish and can’t access Mediterranean fruits that fresh so really savoured the freshness of the salads and fruits

Our luggage was set aside whilst we were presented with cold towels & lemonade and the receptionist checked us in. It was almost midnight and check in was quick and efficient as we were tired from our travels

A very smart hotel with excellent sea views and a lovely main swimming pool. You can have room with its own jacuzzi and garden, or one with a plunge pool or a share infinity pool

Special mention to Michaela who welcomed us at our arrival, showed us all the place and gave us some tips; to Leandros who took care of our concerns, to Valentina and Claudia in the swimming pool and Eleni, Chara and Eva for the special evenings at the Buddha Bar, great team! The best and most luxurious hotel we’ve ever stayed at! We truly felt at home. everyone was so kind and dedicated. The food was of exceptional quality, and the entire experience was amazing

I recommend a room with pool access if you want to enjoy a cool swim during the heat of the day or a night swim with amazing views

The bath by the bed and open plan wash basin is a bit odd, and if you do feel like having a bath, it would take an absolute age to fill

The rooms are spotless but more attention to refilling teas coffee and replacement of towels would be better than the little treats left

3 pools and less than 100 sunbeds for the whole of the hotel which supposably has well over 100 rooms, only 1 bottle of water on arrival rest of the time buy your own, the hotel water tasted as though it had purification tablets in, food very hit and miss one night my sister and myself had fish in a sauce, both of which were not cooked in the middle, taken away by a very reluctant manager

A good hotel, the food is prepared with high quality and tasty, but for breakfast there are always the same dishes. The staff is friendly, polite. To the sea min 5 walk, their sun loungers only by the pools

Certainly not a 5* hotel, the bar at the hotel was round the pool, so sat on plastic chairs at night, staff working there not very friendly, the beach bar was fabulous and Mike is a lovely chap who certainly knows how to run a bar and make good drinks

Lovely stay, once more. Kind staff, willing to help with anything you may need. Tasteful meals and a top burger dinner at Know bar, overlooking the sea. Overall, a repeat and repeat experience!

My only circumstances are bottled water is not free. Toilets not on same level as pool especially with children. -1 floor for indoor pool could potentially have a sauna /steam room to enhance the experience

The pools were renovated and look amazing!! There aren't enough sunbeds for everyone and many guests seem to "reserve" sunbeds by simply placing their towels on top for the whole day

If anyone is actually reading this review, I would propose to place a sign that sunbeds can't be reserved. Not everyone is there at the same time. Another splution could be baskets for towels and personal belongings

Add a basket near each umbrella, if the sunbeds aren't occupied but there are towels and personal things on them, people can put them in the basket and use the sunbeds

Overall I would recommend the hotel and the whole experience. It is a very beautiful hotel, the beach was wonderful and so was the surrounding area

Put up a sign explaining the purpose of the baskets and that sunbeds cannot be reserved. The staff in the whole hotel was extremely friendly, understanding and competent

Cozy hotel in a huge area, beautiful garden with palm trees. Directly on the seafront promenade. 100 m from the wide sandy beach, from the center ca. 1500 meters away.

One particular evening, his favourite dessert was not on display and the chef asked if everything was alright, when I joked there was no jelly, he appeared with a few jellies for him

Outstanding customer service! Waiters and cleaners were also extremely attentive, the waiters joked with our daughter calling her 'Max' as she looked liked Max from Stranger Things and the cleaners always left our rooms spotless, leaving sweets on the pillow or displaying our pjs on the bed

They then went out of their way to ensure their was lots of variety of foods for him to choose from each always checking in with us each evening to ensure he was ok

Beach was small with paid sun-beds and umbrella, but last day we just stayed around pool where beds are free and went for few dips in the see from there. Inflatables are free to use and stacked by the pool

Location In prime location of shops, bars and restaurants. Beach opposite hotel but you have to pay for sun beds. Not much room to just lie on the sand as beds crammed together
