The staff at the Enomy main buffet restaurant were mostly okay but many staff were rude or not attentive at all (we sat waiting for cutlery and to be asked our drinks order for ages and then had to try and find someone)

The facilities are great but many people still used towels to reserve sunbeds even though the resort states towels will be removed (they were not). We traveled in October half term and were very lucky with the wether

Really great beautifully decorated communal areas and a really classy bar with great cocktails. Everything was just SO easy and pleasant so we could concentrate on spending time together as a family and having fun

This is a lovely resort, really quite unique as it's like being in a village. There are 7 restaurants which is nice as you can have a different dinner experience instead of the buffet all the time

The restaurants offer something for everyone, from delicious local dishes to international favourites, all cooked to perfection. The pools are crystal-clear and plentiful, so there’s always a perfect spot to relax

We especially liked Aris at Idaia bar who made us great cocktails! The hotel is divided into different areas making it great for families with lots of activities, and couples who want their quiet areas and great drinks and music with a view

Not only are there 2 pools, but also a sea down the street. You can ride jetskis in the sea. There's also a bar, an 8-ball place and a lot of shops nearby from this hotel

The only problem that I had an issue with is that the drinks after ordering took a long time to come. But I understand that the staff is always extremely busy (just giving some feedback)

I really love this place! I like the food from the buffet, you can choose what to eat in the morning or in the evening. The rooms are a little small for my liking though

However, I do like the feature where you let the cleaning ladies just clean your room. Not to mention the staff are really nice and they guide you through the room

The staff were lovely and hard working, the hotel was very clean and smelt really nice. The location is perfect, you are a 2 minute walk to the nearest beach and there are lots of bars/restaurants and shops nearby

Perfect location! Close lots of local tavernas and bars, car rentals and excursions… My holiday couldn’t be better! Thanks to Albatros! Also highly recommend to visit spa. Was there twice for sauna and massage

Pretty good place, the pools great and the food was really nice and theres amazing people there too, the only thing that bothered me were the mosquitoes but its okay.

We had a lovely stay at Heronissos! The team there was incredibly welcoming and organized, ensuring everything felt easy from the moment we checked in

The sunbeds come with tables and umbrellas, and there are plenty of lovely seating areas around the pool to relax. The staff work incredibly hard to keep the whole resort immaculate

It's the little things that count, and the staff's willingness to help really stood out. To top it off, the food was excellent. Thank you for a fantastic holiday!

We have tried a few other restaurants, a few were disappointing but this one was spot on every single time. The staff are incredibly serviceminded, delightful and helpful! The drinks- skip the other places

I stayed at the Alia beach hotel for 10 nights. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The pool was great (needed some maintenance but I assume this is sorted over winter)

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. staff are so friendly and helpfull. this hotel has changed hands so all previous reviews are not applicable. hotel and grounds are really nice

When we first arrived, the service was phenomenal. We were early, and were provided luggage storage until the room was cleaned. We were also provided som breakfast

Although the food choices are good. Maybe themed nights & pool snacks could be introduced

3 pools and less than 100 sunbeds for the whole of the hotel which supposably has well over 100 rooms, only 1 bottle of water on arrival rest of the time buy your own, the hotel water tasted as though it had purification tablets in, food very hit and miss one night my sister and myself had fish in a sauce, both of which were not cooked in the middle, taken away by a very reluctant manager

My only circumstances are bottled water is not free. Toilets not on same level as pool especially with children. -1 floor for indoor pool could potentially have a sauna /steam room to enhance the experience

This is listed as a 5 star hotel, but is priced in the 3/4 star bracket - so please don’t be surprised that this is not 5 stars! That said - it’s a perfectly lovely hotel, and we had a great time! I would say that it is a 3 star hotel

It was very quiet when we went, so no waiting for food/ drinks at any point. Know Bar by the beach was great. Location is good; short drive from airport - 25 mins, just a one minute walk down to the beach

The snack offering was poor - dry sponge cake, watermelon and ice cream (which was completely liquid/ soft every day). Room service was good and the ladies cleaning were lovely

One particular evening, his favourite dessert was not on display and the chef asked if everything was alright, when I joked there was no jelly, he appeared with a few jellies for him

Outstanding customer service! Waiters and cleaners were also extremely attentive, the waiters joked with our daughter calling her 'Max' as she looked liked Max from Stranger Things and the cleaners always left our rooms spotless, leaving sweets on the pillow or displaying our pjs on the bed

They then went out of their way to ensure their was lots of variety of foods for him to choose from each always checking in with us each evening to ensure he was ok

Beach was small with paid sun-beds and umbrella, but last day we just stayed around pool where beds are free and went for few dips in the see from there. Inflatables are free to use and stacked by the pool

Victoria was fantastic, I've had many massages and she was by far the best

Absolutely amazing hotel and staff! All of the staff go above and beyond to please their hotel residents. My son has a nut allergy and the head server and chef went through all the food that were safe for him to eat

Brilliant hotel, stayed here 7 nights and no complaints whatsoever! Brilliant view, room was clean and staff were very friendly. Great location with lots of shops around within walking distance

It's super clean, nothing is abandoned or neglected from the property. Also very friendly staff, they always want to help. Two guys from the reception, not sure their names, are exceptionally friendly

We had room 402 which was lovely and spacious for the two of us with a nice size balcony and bathroom. There is a safe at a cost of €4 a day and AC which was free

Thank you for giving us such a big room with a balcony. We had a late flight home and the hotel still let us to use the pool and a shower room after we have checked out

The restaurant is great, various delicious food, friendly and nice staff. Clean rooms, helpful reception. I don't have any bad thoughts about this place, i recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was welcoming, friendly, and always available. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped

Please don't take glasses (in case U don't order) from table on diner time

All staff were first class, Stefanos the Restaurant Manager was five star and personable in attendance to us and it was a joy to chat with him. The pools are all amazing and accessible beach made the stay enjoyable.

We had a great time, the facilities and service are excellent. We were disappointed with the food, both the breakfast, lunch and dinner

The only food that was tasty and appropriate for the hotel level was the food that was paid extra in the restaurant on the beach/pool

There is no free drink, the water is sold at a price 13 times higher than in nearby supermarkets

The lady who checked me in was super friendly and l liked that they actually took you to your room when you first check in that is a nice touch

I booked this hotel through jet2 package holidays! It was my first time staying in Greece

I stayed for a week! Pros: • The hotel staff are lovely, that is everybody from the house keepers to the kitchen and wait staff to the people at the front desk

The shower could only fit one person and it did not have a door or a curtain, so we always had water on the floor. The whole hotel is dated, but the pictures make it look very modern and vibrant

• Location is fantastic, you are literally a stone throw away from the beach and if you take a few minutes walk in the opposite direction you have no end of bars, restaurants and shops

It all started with us being greeted at the main entrance after exiting our taxi, and we had a very friendly welcome, even the manager greeted us personally, and our luggage was carried to our room by one of the friendly staff

Our stay for our honeymoon was amazing. The staff upgraded us to the most incredible room, and every single staff member is extremely kind and friendly. The all inclusive food was delicious and plentiful

Staff helped us set up taxis and direct us around. We came at the very end of tourist season, so it was exactly the quiet yet adventurous trip we were looking for

Palmera Beach Hotel was beautiful, clean and stylish. We had a problem with our first room, due to my disability, but the manager went above and beyond to make our stay perfect

Food was well varied and always of good quality, we ate well every day, there were plenty of drink options. The garden with the sunlougers was very beautiful and was a nice place to ay in the sun and relax

All the staff at the hotel were polite, kind and very helpful, especially Mr Nikos in the restaurant, he made our mealtime experiences brilliant, he always made us smile

I don't like to write too much, I'll just say this: I give the highest praise to the entire hotel staff!! With a plus for Gina and Luminita!! I know, I'm subjective, but we can't escape certain affinities!!

The internet drops off often. Shower head was cracked and water would just pour in

I'm a little clumsy at times, but they were incredibly patient

Clearly the receptionist lied to us, which is not very nice if you ask me. Moreover, there was no shower gel in the bathroom (and from my experience, hotels usually give you little bottles of shower gel among others)

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. They pay great attention to cleanliness, and the food is typically touristy but good. And then, something very important to me, the staff is really kind

The hotel itself is clean and tidy, but the food variety is poor. There’s very little fruit available, and there are no snacks or fruit offered between 2 pm and 7 pm, even though we had an all-inclusive package

Beautiful hotel, right in the city center. I had a suite, but unfortunately, the room’s hygiene was disappointing. The air conditioning blew out strange dust clouds — it turned out to be extremely dirty (see photo)

With half board, you get a credit to spend — which is actually a clever system — and the food itself was very good and delicious. But having to pay extra for a cappuccino at breakfast is just absurd

In addition, the shower seals were full of mold, so I didn’t shower. The room faced a derelict building, which also came with a terrible sewage-like smell

The music in the day was not too loud which was great and almost sunbeds were in sunlight most of the day too which was great for October! The pool was always very clean and not too busy even though the hotel was fully booked, and rarely had reserved sunbeds too

The Pool facilities were excellent as well, you got two cards for pool towels at the hotel, members of staff coming around asking if you wanted drinks etc or you could go to the bar if you wanted too and they would bring you them to your sun loungers

As well as being on the main road through Chersonisos so travel by bus to Heraklion or Stalis was so easy and cheap! The food at the hotel is also incredible where we ate 3 evenings while staying

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and had amazing service throughout! They allowed early and late checkout for us as we had difficult flight times, called us multiple taxis to get around the beautiful island and were just helpful start to finish

The breakfast was perfect, so much choice! The hotel is well located with a huge amount of restaurants and bars on the doorstep, and lovely places like Koutouloufari and Stalis just a short distance away

I have stayed at multiple JW and Ritz hotels and the service here is at that level if not better. The hotel itself is immaculate. Our room was always super clean with fresh towels and sheets

There are also rental car agencies near the hotel where you can rent a car for a day and go hike Timios Stavros (the tallest mountain on Crete and another Unesco heritage site)

We had the best time at Vasia Boulevard. The staff were amazingly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh bedding supplied everyday

Two minute walk to the bus stop where the local bus can take you up and down the coast for a couple of Euros. This is important because the local taxis are $$$$

The rooms fit every budget, and cleanliness was excellent in our experience daily tidying, frequent towel changes, and fresh sheets twice a week Breakfast was good with plenty of choices, including local dishes, hot options, desserts, coffee and juices

The location is perfect, just 2–3 minutes to the sea, tavernas, shops, bus stops, and even the local aquarium (which we definitely recommend visiting), yet still quiet and peaceful at night

Unlike many hotels right by the beach road where music and crowds go on until late, this one is in a much calmer spot The hotel is family-run, and you feel that personal touch everywhere

The only thing to note is that most rooms don’t have sea views, except some of the top-floor apartments, but in return you enjoy peace and quiet during the night

Overall, a great balance of location, hospitality and value for money. Hersonissos itself is a lovely destination, and staying here made our trip even better

Anastasios and his family were so kind, welcoming and always ready to help with anything, from practical tips to local recommendations

The only minuses in the room was that the shower (not sure if all rooms are like this) did not have a cover, so made it difficult to keep water from splashing all over

Very handy for the beach, shops and bars. Our room was quiet with a small balcony overlooking the pool. The shower was small but manageable. Staff on the most part were very welcoming and helpful

The breakfast and evening meal buffet was excellent with lots of good choices, also they catered to a gluten free requirement, with good knowledge of what's OK to eat and even cooking an individual separate meal each day

The bar was open all hours and pleasant after an evening out. The only downside for us was the food, which most seemed to enjoy but we ate out most days. I would however use this hotel again

There are several beaches within walking distance. You do need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas at those, but the prices were very reasonable. We stayed on a half-board basis

Very small pool but enough beds for this time of the season. This hotel is definitely not four star rating ( probably more like a 3 star) and doesn't look anything like the photos on the website

Special shout outs to Genti the barman, who was really funny; friendly and helpful, Elli and Yannis at reception, and the waiting staff at breakfast and dinner all lovely, friendly and helpful as I was travelling solo

Pool area is very quiet and doesnt really get much sun in the day time until later, I only spent my first day around the pool and was alone most of the time, the rest of the time I went to the beach or excursions

I went across to the reception, and someone came over to fix it right away! They had also saved me some light salad/ cheeses/ meats as it was past the dinner time, which I thought was really nice

There are plenty of supermarkets, pharmacies, and public transport nearby. Nearby one of my favourites to visit was Mare Mio beach and resto, €10 for a sunbed for the day and the food was lovely

They are all there to answer any questions you may have. The bar prices are really reasonable, €3. 06) for a glass of local wine! The breakfast and dinner were also good, plenty of variety

It does mention that towels are only cleaned once every 2 days, but in a 7 day-stay, I think my bedding was only changed twice, so the cleaning schedule is a bit sporadic

Breakfast was great as a Brit it’s not bacon everyday but we could always find something, all very fresh locally sourced good quality and lots of homemade food we would recommend there version of baked beans, homemade breads, carrot cake and much more as a teaholic I always take my own tea but found myself drinking their coffee every morning from the machine you won’t be disappointed absolutely great...

Myself and my husband stayed at the Thalia Deco hotel at the end of September 25, it was a late booking after spending a fortune on a previous holiday in a 5 star all inclusive in Kos in June of that year

First impressions were that this is not the prettiest location it was extremely central you had so many shops restaurants, pharmacy banks everything you could need, we could see the sea and the hills which had their own charm

We had four beds two pushed together in the larger bedroom, two hairdryers, a full fridge including ice box, a good sized bathroom with small sized cubicle shower and always plenty of hot water whenever we needed, we had two televisions and always found something to watch for the amount off time we where in the room but I would probably recommend a firestick or similar if you are people who like to...

What makes this hotel special is the costumer service this is family run and they’re all so warm and helpful, like minded very hard working people who obviously love what they and it shows Owners Themis his wife Gordana and son Alexandra couldn't be any more welcoming and helpful

First impressions of the room were that it could do with updating and I almost felt like I had made a mistake booking this, they had given us a upgrade which meant we had 2 bedrooms with lots of storage for all our clothes etc

This hotel I found very convenient, center point and excellent guest service, you don’t leave this place without a smile!

The central location means 24/7 noise from the club next door. during the day until the evening, and especially at full volume all night. Sleep is only possible with earplugs

I love ittt! it's Such a nice hotel with such a bad rating I wonder why the rating is so negative to be honest I love this hotel so much It's So pretty They have free WiFi and it's next to beach the only negative thing about this hotel is that it's next to a club which means That it's pretty noisy outside but still a great hotel^^

Great location with access to the beach, restaurants and shops.

In the evenings, there are the restaurants right on the water's edge. There you can get delicious food and expensive drinks, and we were more or less politely asked to come in at almost every stall

What more could you want? You don't even notice that there are no outlets or towel racks in the bathroom, the hot water often doesn't work, and the drain is clogged with sand

The lady running it and the cleaner were really nice and friendly, they were on hand in case you needed them without being obtrusive. The bathroom is a good size with a great shower which was warm and strong

Absolutely wonderful both staff and accommodation fabulous lovely comfy bed, wonderful sunrise 🌅 to see every morning from the fabulous balcony again with nice furniture beautiful place to eat breakfast We will definitely stay again next time in Crete

(three of us) The lift is small but works so even people with mobility problems wouldn't find it an issue. Next time we go back to Hersonissos we will definitely book in Villa Sonia again

Stayed at Villa Sonia for middle two weeks in June. Lovely accommodation everything you could want with Lovely sunrise views,right by the sea. Cleaning and towel change every other day

We were placed on the second floor and absolutely loved the view from the balcony. We spent most of our room time there just watching the world go by enjoying a nice cold Greek beer

There is a key safe in the room which you don't need to pay extra for. If you are going to Hersonissos then this is a great place for a couple or as we are a small family

The staff from elena to the whole crew including the cleaners, couldn't be just lovlier humans, work so hard and do a wonderful job, they care for how good a time the guests have which is why guests do

Always helpful, always available to support and act with warm. The hotel is not to big and small and lovley looking, the pool is warm and never to busy as only a certain amount of guests can stay

It's next to the beach and the city center and is surrounded with tons of restaurants. Will definitely 100% go back to Petra Beach Hotel when we visit Crete again

What a hidden gem! Clean, well maintained, comfy beds and lovely rooms. Deserves more than 3* as a hotel. Much needed few days of calm and rest after a wedding on the mainland

The rooms are just spacious and lovley, with a kettle and fridge, with a table inside to, and we had a nice balcony to sit on. You can rent a car near by and book sailing trips across. It felt almost like being at home
