The hotel was spotless throughout, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, and clearly worked very hard to keep everything running smoothly

It was an excellent experience from start to finish! ✈️ Travel & Location Our trip was booked with Jet2 Holidays, flying from Leeds Bradford Airport. The flight should have been 3. 5 hours, but we had a 4-hour delay

One of the best resorts we’ve ever encountered: amazing food variety and quality, competent and friendly staff, excellent facilities, great beach and pools, convenient location.

The beach is amazing, the pools are very nice and clean, the staff and dining was great, we had an amazing time and we’re very happy that we booked this resort for two weeks!

The resort is huge so although it was full, you couldn’t feel it. Nice activities, lots of pools, you can always find a spot with a sun bed in one of the pools

Fantastic Stay at Lyttos Beach Hotel, Crete 🇬🇷🏖️ We spent 7 nights at Lyttos Beach Hotel on an all-inclusive family break during the UK autumn half-term

The main dining area is really big and being able to sit outside meant you didn't feel like you were going to the same restaurant for every meal! Lots of fresh food options, the grill and the salad bars were excellent

Theres not a lot to walk to nearby and the local beaches are taken up by sunbeds from the bars, but we'd recommend a walk into Koutouloufari for a look round the shops or a drink in the evening

The pools are fab - a 50 metre pool on holiday! Even when it was busy it didn't feel busy. Plenty of sunbeds available around the pools or on the peaceful sun terrace

Having a separate bar area from the entertainment means you can choose a more peaceful spot in the evening, or get involved in the fun

We loved our stay (August 2025) at the Royal And Imperial Belvedere hotel. Our room was great, newly decorated and spotlessly clean

The causal dining options were also great with a range of family friendly food available

The staff at the Enomy main buffet restaurant were mostly okay but many staff were rude or not attentive at all (we sat waiting for cutlery and to be asked our drinks order for ages and then had to try and find someone)

The facilities are great but many people still used towels to reserve sunbeds even though the resort states towels will be removed (they were not). We traveled in October half term and were very lucky with the wether

This is a lovely resort, really quite unique as it's like being in a village. There are 7 restaurants which is nice as you can have a different dinner experience instead of the buffet all the time

Most staff we came across were friendly and helpful, especially at the bars and reception

The restaurants offer something for everyone, from delicious local dishes to international favourites, all cooked to perfection. The pools are crystal-clear and plentiful, so there’s always a perfect spot to relax

We especially liked Aris at Idaia bar who made us great cocktails! The hotel is divided into different areas making it great for families with lots of activities, and couples who want their quiet areas and great drinks and music with a view

My personal opinion has been it's been difficult to entertain the children here for the last week at the end of October. The pools are absolutely freezing. In fact even though the sea is cold it's warmer than the pools

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We have had an absolutely fantastic stay. The à la carte restaurants have all been incredible with my favourite being the Mediterranean

I absolutely will never fault the staff at mitsis royal mare. They are truly excellent, their level of care and attention is second to none. Attention to the cleanliness of the site is supreme apart from the cats

And that heating very pool is unrealistic. It's tiny and it wouldn't cost you alot to heat it. It could really use the investment. The mini golf is tired, broken and old and could also use some investment

The final issue is the indoor pool which was tired looking and had no entertainment for the kids there. There clearly used to be a bar there as well

Not much in the buffet for children etc and most of the food luke warm When I chose an all inclusive food is a big part and really not the best

The hotel staff is genuinely exceptional. The only issue I encountered was the absence of a quick dial option on the phone for direct access to the hotel's reception or service

I recommend using The Spa. I had a deep tissue massage. Jessie was very good and very professional.

Great food, friendly staff, drinks are amazing and the bar staff takes their time to prepare them, beautiful beach and the spa was very relaxing. My daughter and I enjoyed our facials!

The massage here was really good. I was treated by Albora, she was very friendly and polite, and the massage was perfect. The products smell amazing. Highly recommended!!!

We were guests in this Hotel for 7 days. Superior Hotel, clean and nice. Our rooms comfortable with a nice view to the Pools. Food & Beverages tasteful and always enough

This was perfect holiday ! It was our fourth time in Mitsis Laguna and I have to say it - this is the best hotel IN THE WORLD. We travel all around the world and honestly there is no better place than Mitsis Laguna

Our second stay this year! Amazing hotel. I'd accidently booked the wrong room type, and we were upgraded for free. Giannis provided excellent service around the pool

Service throughout the hotel was amazing and cannot fault at all. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Beach is a pebble/rocky beach, this didnt bother us as we were happy by the pool

There's an astro pitch, tennis courts and arcades and pool table for other entertainment. Unfortunately, didn't get an opportunity to try the sushi bar but it looked really nice

The best hotel I've ever been to. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The hotel is sublime. It's a feast for the eyes. The atmosphere is great. I highly recommend it.

The food at the restaurants are amazing, we can't decide which one is the best! Really enjoyed the pan asian breakfast. Loved the creperie, open all day

The rooms were cleaned daily, at a convenient time for us, the facilities were also exceptionally clean and the gym was great! There was live entertainment including an Abba show, magic show for kids, plays and karaoke for all

The kids klubb was lovely for my cousins. The entertainment was so nice and put in a lot of effort. My aunt went there last year and the hotel and entertainment has had a great improvement. Wonderful!

A special Thank you to Maria & Sophia at Votsalo who made every morning wonderful with their smiles, welcoming energy and amazing coffee! The only difficulty we encountered during our stay was the access our daughter had to opening our room door from within the room, we felt safe but had to take special precautions to ensure she didn’t leave unattended

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. A 20-30min drive from Heraklion. Different pools to choose from and some water slides. Although the water was a bit on the colder side in October but we still swam

One of those events per night. Our kids loved the food variety, pool and entertainment provided. Lots of activities for kids which allowed for some adult time too. Check-in and out staff were helpful with advice too

Can go to the beach too which is owned by another hotel but that's fine. Some people say the pool towels cost extra but the first one is free and you're free to use it throughout the week

it was our first family holiday with our 1 year old. we had a really good time and our baby enjoyed it so much. We had a problem with a room and it was rectified immediately

The staff are amazing with children and are super friendly. We felt really at ease and safe

The hotel is in a good location, 30 km from Heraklion, by the sea. The weather is still very good in mid-October, the sea is warm and the weather is no longer deadly hot but pleasantly warm

The hotel's outstanding quality is its staff. The reception is very professional. I'm thinking especially of Maria at reception, who was incredibly helpful and saved our stay by finding a suitable room for my mother

The most beautiful beach in the area is the one in front of the Hotel Meditereneo and right in front of the open-air museum on the beach. The center of Hersosissos is lively and has many local shops

People in Crete, in general, are grumpy. Im talking about local people not but stranger workers. I've rarely seen anything like it. On the other hand, the foreign workers are always polite and helpful

Room cleaned (very quickly) every day, main toiletries like shampoo and soap provided. The animation team was great during the day and kids' disco night were awesome. NEGATIVES: Paid WiFi in the rooms

It’s very unusual to have this paid, while other hotels nearby offer it for free. Ice-cold swimming pools at this time. Very few people dared to bathe there. The sea was warmer than the pool

The food was good, lots of fresh fruits and salads, perfect for the hot weather

Solid 4* hotel, but not 5* and here few notes: Positive moments: Lots of greenery with plants and trees everywhere, the feeling is like in private mini tropical garden

Proper main buffet, good variety of meals with some Greek specialties at each meal. Sea view from the main restaurant make your breakfast perfect and same for snack bar in the afternoons

The food was really high quality every meal. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pools are nice, especially the one where you can sit at the bar inside the pool

What really stood out was the incredible service from all the staff. They were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The pool food staff were particularly great, handling a special food order for us with a smile

We had a wonderful time at the resort. We enjoyed the spa. The food was very good. We enjoyed the community cats also. We will be back. Nick was a very big help to us throughout our entire stay.

Food, staff, rooms and all facilities are great. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. The swim-up was fantastic, quiet most of the time and waiter service to pool side was unexpected but appreciated

We stayed for a week in a suite with a private pool and loved it. The staff were excellent to a fault, especially the bar staff - couldn't rate them high enough

One thing I will mention is that there are planes flying low overhead every hour so more during the day so if you’re looking for a super peaceful escape this may not be the one

The food was much better than your average all inclusive resort, especially the Veranda for breakfast (courtesy of our room) and Abrazo Mexican

Not only are there 2 pools, but also a sea down the street. You can ride jetskis in the sea. There's also a bar, an 8-ball place and a lot of shops nearby from this hotel

The only problem that I had an issue with is that the drinks after ordering took a long time to come. But I understand that the staff is always extremely busy (just giving some feedback)

I really love this place! I like the food from the buffet, you can choose what to eat in the morning or in the evening. The rooms are a little small for my liking though

Perfect location! Close lots of local tavernas and bars, car rentals and excursions… My holiday couldn’t be better! Thanks to Albatros! Also highly recommend to visit spa. Was there twice for sauna and massage

So generous with free wine tasting, cocktail and cooking class experience, very close to the beach and restaurants and surrounding villages - plenty to do ! The staff were accommodating and willing to please answering any questions or requests

The staff were lovely and hard working, the hotel was very clean and smelt really nice. The location is perfect, you are a 2 minute walk to the nearest beach and there are lots of bars/restaurants and shops nearby

They accommodated my request to have my room and my friend’s room together. Over all hospital and 5star experience was with Madam Tonia, restaurant manager. Thanks for making my birthday memorable

We arrived at the hotel and immediately they upgraded our room to a room with a private pool (very nice, but unfortunately not usable). Everything was perfect and appreciated

Very nice place for families and very nice staff. Walters at the resturant very kind. The cook was very nice also. Great menu and dishes.

On the other hand, in the two restaurants, unfortunately, the food is not made on site, Just heats it up and serves it

The food itself was faultless- so fresh with lots of choice and the orange juice just out of this world! We are Scottish and can’t access Mediterranean fruits that fresh so really savoured the freshness of the salads and fruits

Our luggage was set aside whilst we were presented with cold towels & lemonade and the receptionist checked us in. It was almost midnight and check in was quick and efficient as we were tired from our travels

Next morning we went for breakfast and another warm welcome was given by all the lovely restaurant staff (all the Katerinas, Nectarina; and Barbara - all assets to the hotel with their sunny dispositions)

You can tell the team are happy at work and that they have worked together for a long time - there’s a buzz about the place as they clearly know how to speak to people yet get the job done

It’s difficult to know where to start with this review but it all started with a warm welcome from George, the night porter, who greeted us on arrival

The room was well appointed and there was food waiting for us along with the stocked minibar of water, soft drinks; and a bottle of wine

Special mention to Michaela who welcomed us at our arrival, showed us all the place and gave us some tips; to Leandros who took care of our concerns, to Valentina and Claudia in the swimming pool and Eleni, Chara and Eva for the special evenings at the Buddha Bar, great team! Hopefully we will come back

The best and most luxurious hotel we’ve ever stayed at! We truly felt at home. everyone was so kind and dedicated. The food was of exceptional quality, and the entire experience was amazing

We also used the fitness center and spa and enjoyed both. The massages were relaxing and perfect for the atmosphere here. The beach and pool chairs are nice as well, with gorgeous views and decent beach access

A very smart hotel with excellent sea views and a lovely main swimming pool. You can have room with its own jacuzzi and garden, or one with a plunge pool or a share infinity pool

The only gripe about the pool area was that you had to use an app on your phone ( that didn't always work) or catch the attention of a server

The hotel is great, but the service is amazing. The water are good and the beach is great, food is good but use the menu instead of the open buffet, it had great things like pesto pasta and grilled meat

3 pools and less than 100 sunbeds for the whole of the hotel which supposably has well over 100 rooms, only 1 bottle of water on arrival rest of the time buy your own, the hotel water tasted as though it had purification tablets in, food very hit and miss one night my sister and myself had fish in a sauce, both of which were not cooked in the middle, taken away by a very reluctant manager

This is listed as a 5 star hotel, but is priced in the 3/4 star bracket - so please don’t be surprised that this is not 5 stars! That said - it’s a perfectly lovely hotel, and we had a great time! I would say that it is a 3 star hotel

It was very quiet when we went, so no waiting for food/ drinks at any point. Know Bar by the beach was great. Location is good; short drive from airport - 25 mins, just a one minute walk down to the beach

The snack offering was poor - dry sponge cake, watermelon and ice cream (which was completely liquid/ soft every day). Room service was good and the ladies cleaning were lovely

Beach was good - a short sand bit, but then it was like a huge stone slab - great for snorkelling. Plenty of shops/ restaurants within a short walk

It’s definitely not 5 star hotel- but like I said, if you want 5 star - you need to pay for it! It’s a 3 star hotel - a really lovely one

Nice hotel but the food is just ok. After 5 days everything repeats and gets boring. Nice pool area and bars. Low budget drinks are ….. ok. Small cups for LQ cocktails

If anyone is actually reading this review, I would propose to place a sign that sunbeds can't be reserved. Not everyone is there at the same time. Another splution could be baskets for towels and personal belongings

The pools were renovated and look amazing!! There aren't enough sunbeds for everyone and many guests seem to "reserve" sunbeds by simply placing their towels on top for the whole day

Put up a sign explaining the purpose of the baskets and that sunbeds cannot be reserved. The staff in the whole hotel was extremely friendly, understanding and competent

Add a basket near each umbrella, if the sunbeds aren't occupied but there are towels and personal things on them, people can put them in the basket and use the sunbeds

Overall I would recommend the hotel and the whole experience. It is a very beautiful hotel, the beach was wonderful and so was the surrounding area

The lady who checked me in was super friendly and l liked that they actually took you to your room when you first check in that is a nice touch

Also just want to give a shout out to Julia the guest relations manager, such a lovely lady and very helpful when booking my excursion to Santorini

I have enjoyed the pool time there. Room was always nice and tidy. The food and drinks really good and tasty. They dad all sorts of variety that could choose from. The staff was lovely and helpful at any time

• I really admire the check in system, I think it's very modern and forward thinking that everything is done through an app, the lady at the desk was so helpful and after a detailed explained it was a breeze

• I stayed in a standard double room, the bathroom was nice and big, everything was nice and clean and the balcony was a great size

The shower could only fit one person and it did not have a door or a curtain, so we always had water on the floor. The whole hotel is dated, but the pictures make it look very modern and vibrant

It all started with us being greeted at the main entrance after exiting our taxi, and we had a very friendly welcome, even the manager greeted us personally, and our luggage was carried to our room by one of the friendly staff

Our stay for our honeymoon was amazing. The staff upgraded us to the most incredible room, and every single staff member is extremely kind and friendly. The all inclusive food was delicious and plentiful

Staff helped us set up taxis and direct us around. We came at the very end of tourist season, so it was exactly the quiet yet adventurous trip we were looking for

Palmera Beach Hotel was beautiful, clean and stylish. We had a problem with our first room, due to my disability, but the manager went above and beyond to make our stay perfect

Food was well varied and always of good quality, we ate well every day, there were plenty of drink options. The garden with the sunlougers was very beautiful and was a nice place to ay in the sun and relax

All the staff at the hotel were polite, kind and very helpful, especially Mr Nikos in the restaurant, he made our mealtime experiences brilliant, he always made us smile

Great stay here at the hotel. The Spa team around Mikaela is awesome. If you catch a rainy day (or not) it‘s an absolute recommendation to get the full Cretan body massage - Aspasia and Ifigenia are awesome! 5/5 stars!

Spa experience with Aspasia was absolutely exceptional. From the moment the treatment began, she created such a calm and soothing atmosphere that I was able to completely switch off and relax

We've never come across such hardworking, friendly and efficient people and the company should up their wages! Nothing was too much for them and some of the restaurant staff seemed to be on duty all day every day

The lady who cleaned our room did an amazing job and was so friendly. Food was excellent throughout - we had a meal in a local taverna one night and it wasn't on the same level as what was served up at Esperides

I took a "Sweet Love" package for my treatment option. Ifigenia, who executed the treatment, was very professional, friendly and clearly experienced at her job. Would heartily recommend the spa!

What made the experience even more special was the use of natural products, which were exactly what I was looking for. They felt incredible on the skin and really enhanced the overall treatment

Pretty good place, the pools great and the food was really nice and theres amazing people there too, the only thing that bothered me were the mosquitoes but its okay.

We had a lovely stay at Heronissos! The team there was incredibly welcoming and organized, ensuring everything felt easy from the moment we checked in

The sunbeds come with tables and umbrellas, and there are plenty of lovely seating areas around the pool to relax. The staff work incredibly hard to keep the whole resort immaculate

It's the little things that count, and the staff's willingness to help really stood out. To top it off, the food was excellent. Thank you for a fantastic holiday!
