The hotel is nice and almost perfect. But i was a little bit dissappointed because we were there for a vacation and everytime we go for an excurssion or tour and then going back to the hotel after a fun and tiring day, first thing we have to do is wash first our dishes, instead of relaxing, which is not nice. And also broken dishes should be changed because i get wounded from washing it.

My experience staying at the hotel was really good. It is a lovely little hotel located slightly away from the main road, which means it’s peaceful without traffic noise. From the hotel down to the main road is just a few hundred meters. The hotel is situated on a hill, which could be a challenge if you have mobility issues, but otherwise not a problem. From the main road, you can catch buses to both Chania and Platanias. The beach is also just across the main road, where you’ll find several cafés and multiple supermarkets along the road. The hotel itself is small and charming. There’s a nice pool with plenty of space and sunbeds always available. The room was very good, and had its own kitchen, which made it possible to cook meals yourself, such as breakfast or lunch. The balcony overlooked the pool. Cleaning was done frequently, and towels were changed often, which kept the standard very high. The hotel also has its own little minimarket, where you can buy all the essentials such as soap, toothbrushes, creams, as well as snacks during the day. The hotel itself also serves food, which I tried once, and I had a really good experience with it. The staff were overall very friendly and accommodating if you needed anything. The hotel has a parking lot, where you can park your car in case you rent one while on vacation. The only downside of the hotel is that it is quite noisy. You can hear other guests through the walls as well as noises from the hallway. It would also have been nice if there were a few more power outlets in the room.

Cozy hotel for families! The cleaning is highly appreciated! The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms small and quite old, but clean. The staff should work a bit on being more welcoming and smiling! Aphrodites from reception was the only one who made us feel good about being here! She’s amazing. The breakfast was ok, except the cookies from the jars that seemed to be the same for one week without being changed!

The pool was good. Breakfast was very basic. Staff was sometimes not friendly. The location was close to a beach. The food in the hotel was terrible.

Let me start by making it crystal clear - what you read next is to been seen more as observations than negative feedback This is a 5 star experience on a 3 star hotel If you decide to visit this hotel, and you bring the mentality that you are going to a 3 star and not a 5 star hotel - then you are likely to experience a 5 star stay Be aware that the hotel is on top of a small hill, which means that if you struggle to walk a few hundred meters with an okay elevation level consider to take a taxi home The beach is also close by also at the foot of the hill First of all: what makes this hotel stand out is the owner(s)/staff(s) of this hotel They are all, without exception, genuine welcoming, smiling, personal, friendly and right out pleasant to be around This goes from the reception to the gartner and the housekeeping The Room: We had one of the rooms with the main beedroom on the 1st floor and the kitchen and 2 sleeping couches downstairs There is a wc and bath on both floors and a terrace on both floors There is however only 1 air condition and as you can see on my photos its located high up The only way to try and cool the 1st floor is by using the “swing” functionality on the remote to make the fans try and swing up the cold air But as hot air rises and cold air falls you will experience that those sleeping on the 1st floor can be s bit warm here in the summer and those at the ground floor a bit cold The kitchen is small and so is the fridge, but as we only used the kitchen to cool our beverages and make a lunch sandwich it was no problem If you plan to actually cook you could be challenged a bit The 2 main beds are good and the 2 sleeping couches are hard as a rock but the springs in your back makes you forget that ;) There is a tv with a few channels nothing really but we mostly came back from Aqia Marina around 2300 and straight to sleep The Wifi in the room, as in most southern hotels, are non-existing so bring you 4G mobile data The water in the bath was nice and warm at all hours of the day There is daily cleaning of the room with floors been washed etc and new towels and bed linen every 3rd day If you look at my photo you can see the finish around the sink, the cub bards, electrical sockets etc. But everything was fully functional in the room and it was nice and clean I would suggest to bring some extension cords for iPad/iPhone charging etc. As the number and placement of those outlets is from a time before electronic devices The Pool: the pool is kept very clean and so is the surrounding pool areas There is no pool towels so bring your own There is a life guard on duty most of the day and he also keeps the pool area spotless The cleaning staff also wash the tiles every morning The pool is nice and deep for diving in around 3 meters deep at the deep end There is enough sun beds for all guests so no problem getting one And the hotel is not strict about you enjoying a can of soda you bought at the mini m

Horrible experience, do not go here! We were met by a dirty room, with both filthy kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen had dirty appliances. The walls, sofa, and shelves were dirty. Bugs were crawling all around the room, ants and others. There were even ants in the bed, where I was bit. The bathroom smelt horrid, and there was blood on the cabinets. The shower was filthy, with only cold water. AC in the bedroom did not work, and AC in the rest of the room turned off as soon as there were open doors. The worst was the bloody towel found in our room. The staff were petty and rude, and gave us no compensation. The same goes for Apollo. We ended up leaving this hotel, and moved to Cretan Dream Royal. This cost us €100 out of pocket. This inconvenience ruined our whole vacation, utterly disappointed.

Arrived at this hotel and had to leave the dame day, because the room was awful, bad smell, mold and ants. After all they decided to keep the money instead of refund, so keep in mind while booking this place, choose an option to pay via paypal or your credit card to have an option to submit a claim.

What a lovely place! I don’t have a bad word about this hotel. Perfect room with a nice balcony, a small kitchen, spacious bathroom and great beds. Very kind and helpful staff like always want you the best. Good food in the restaurant and nice cocktails in the bar. The mini market to the hotel has a wide range and good prices. The pool area is peaceful and never a problem to find a free sun bed. The Breakfast has a high quality and Lovely fruit, Bread, olives and eggs with more.

We had a room with garden view and we enjoyed a lot the evenings in the balcony. The hotel is on a hill and the evenings are really enjoyable since it feels a bit chilly. The breakfast was complete and with a touch of Cretan hospitality. The pool is really warm, great for kids. Staff are very warm and helpful.

Good location, only about 300 m from the sea, close to many restaurants, shops and bus stops. At the same time, the place is very quiet and quite far from busy roads and streets. Apartments are spacious and comfortable with balconies and a small kitchen. Cleanliness is absolutely perfect. The pool quite large and there is enough space around. The hotel is built so that the pool is covered from wind from all directions. Breakfast was ok. The only drawback that was unstable FiWi.
