Small family hotel, designed in traditional Cretan style and located in the heart of the village of Malia in Crete. It offers simply decorated, but comfortable rooms. It offers a large outdoor pool with a sun terrace. The pool bar serves snacks and drinks. In walking distance there are several bars, tavernas and shops. Location close to the bustling night life, but at the same time near the Old town and other attractions makes the hotel a great place for a summer vacation.

Location: 600 metres from Malia beach in Crete, 32 km from Heraklion airport.

Consists of one 3-storey building.

The hotel is in the perfect location - right on top of the strip and under the old town so, everything is in walking distance. It is less than 10min walk to the nearest beach and there is a big supermarket right in front.
The rooms facing the street are not great. The beds are very old and small, and you can hear the noise from the street. Luckily, the staff was very friendly and helpful (family-run) and they moved us to another room, overlooking the pool. It was much better - modern beds and no noise at all. Overall, all the rooms do need a little renovation, especially the bathrooms however, considering the prices, this hotel is good value for money and I recommend it. Mostly clean, with very few spots, dust, etc.
I can see people unhappy to pay extra for the air conditioning however, this seems to be the case in all hotels in Malia that are budget-friendly.
Breakfast has limited choice however, it is fresh and you can always find something.
I would stay again for sure.

I do not recommend this hotel. The room was dirty, damp, and the shower flooded the bathroom. The two women at the front desk one blonde and one brunette were very unpleasant and unhelpful. The breakfast needs serious improvement: it’s always the same and not good at all. This hotel doesn’t deserve 3 stars more like zero.

It was one of the best 10-day vacations we've ever had with my partner.
The hotel was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful, the housekeeping staff came in every day, and everything was spotless.
Breakfast had plenty of options, the coffee was excellent, and the service from the girls working there was amazing.
The reception was impeccable.
They had an answer to all our questions and helped us a lot. There is someone at the front desk 24/7, which made us feel safe.
The gardens were full of flowers and trees — a small paradise.
The pool was crystal clear, with an incredible pool bar.
The girl at the bar was outstanding — always smiling and speaking to us with so much warmth. She was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met at a bar.
The cocktails were amazing, and there was a wide variety to choose from.
The hotel’s location is right in the heart of the city — everything is close by.
Beautiful clubs, fantastic restaurants, and the sea is also just a short walk away.
It was truly one of the best vacations we’ve ever had.
We had a wonderful time.
Thank you so much for everything, and we’ll definitely see you again next year!

Recently visited my home country with my husband and our 2 year old son. We really enjoyed our stay at the Malia Holidays Hotel, the staff were all amazing eager to help, very friendly and polite! From the beautiful gardens, very clean swimming pool and bar to the quality of food, drinks and services all top tier! Really enjoyed our breakfast every morning with plenty of food to choose from. Rooms were cozy and very clean every day. Safety and calmness this place offered was what me and my family needed. Special thanks to Mairy the bar woman we met there, she was so fun to speak to, so interesting and kind person and made delicious drinks and the cocktails were the best we’ve had! We’re excited for our next visit now and I can’t recommend enough this amazing hotel! You need to go see and get the experience yourself to understand!
Btw You HAVE to ask Mairy of her cocktais and drinks recommendations! She’s an asset to this hotel! They should definitely give her a big raise! As well as to the rest of the staff of course!

Our vacation at Malia Hollidays was really nice.
The rooms were clean and the hotel is really calm and just looks beautiful, especially the pool and the nice greenery around it. The breakfast is rich and with a wide varriety of cold cuts, juices, fresh vegetables and the warm sektion theres nothing to miss out on. We also fell in love with the location, directly under the beatyfull malia old town and above the partystrip you get the best of all worlds. Theres also a car/atv rental dierektly across the street and you're just 2 mins away from the nearest bus stop.
And last but not least the staff is incredebly friendly and always in a good mood. Especially the nightkeeper Alex wich whe really enjoyed chatting to, friendly, kind, and always there if you need something, so you feel real safe also in the night.
All in all this is a place to rest your soul either with your family or your friends. I can really recomend this hotel, and this was definetly not our last stay.

Wonderful staff from the cleaners to reception, night staff and the lovely owners.
Ignore the one or two negative reviews from immature guests, this is a family run hotel with impeccable honesty and friendliness from top to bottom.
Location excellent right on the edge of old town and far enough away from the strip to have peace. The bar patio area is a nice place to sit and have a few drinks early evening. Bar tender friendly and attentive. Music varied but good.
Thank you to everyone at the hotel who made my stay enjoyable but especially Soula, Alex & Eve.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Only we would recommend to increase opening hours of the pool - because it closed at 18. Also the service was really good and especially thank u to Maria:) The location is perfect because around is everthing u need - souvenirs, car rent, bars and clubs.

Great Hotel and staff, all of which are friendly and helpful.

The rooms are very clean, as indeed was the rest of the hotel, with fresh towels and bedding every two days. Had air conditioning, a shower which always had hot water and the most comfortable mattresses.

Very fast wifi with excellent coverage.

Superb location, close to the old town, shops and taverns, bus stops and not far from the beach.

The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty. The pool has a bar and a good selection of foods and drinks.

The main bar had a good selection and is open in the evenings, and outside a seating area which is great place to relax.

Will stay again next year.
