Reviews
The staff is one of the best you can find. From the reception to the pool, breakfast servers, and the manager, everyone was so pleasant, I cannot praise them enough. We were with a baby, and everybody there was always making her laugh.
Rooms are decent and cleaned/disinfected every day.
The pool is super clean, the barmen takes out a leaf as soon as it falls inside, and he makes the best espresso fredo.
The breakfast is better than in many higher-ranking hotels. You have everything from almond butter to gluten-free bread. The servers restock everything constantly with a big smile.
The hotel yard is beautiful, well-maintained, and clean. The beach is 30 seconds away.
The hotel is going through some renovation so small things will be fixed probably by the next year, such as AC in some rooms not working when it is a bit colder outside, and they should be cleaned since the air is stale until the compressor kicks in.
All in all, highly recommended for a peaceful and quiet vacation.
From the moment we arrived we welcomed by Maria and her reception team and treated so very warmly.
We had Junior suites one on the ground floor and one on the 1st floor the rooms are beautifully appointed with generous storage and lovely views of the beach. The beds are extremely comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean.
The hotel itself is situated very well very close to a beautiful beach and a lovely beach bar. Bamboon. There is a regular bus into Skiathos town and the hotel is close to stop No 16. Reception are always happy to call a taxi is this is your preference.
However what makes this hotel stand out from the crowd is the magnificent team of staff led by Andreas the General Manager...
I wish I knew all their names however I must just mention these special people Maria Front of House Manager...Maria on reception and breakfast... Nektaria breakfast service also know by us as Tinkerbell and pocket rocket .... Christina who was wonderful the day we had to visit the Medical Centre ... the long suffering Janis lovely man who put up with our antics at the pool... last but not least young George .... these are just part of a wonderful team who made our holiday by treating us like Queens.
Finally if you get the opportunity go to the weekly BBQ the foods is spectacular, and we had a wonderful time dancing the night away ... the pizzas and Greek salad is also lovely if you fancy staying by the pool in the evening. We loved this hotel and I cant wait to return next year with my husband.
The hotel itself was beautiful and it is directly located on the beach.
All in all our stay was ok but it was not ok to promise something what we didn't get without a real explanation.
But the main problem is the cleaning. It so bad. If you have a towel on the floor (it means it is dirty) they will put it back on the shelf with all the dirt on it just like that. The bedsheets were not cleaned, and no extra shampoos or conditioners put in 1week. All in all, I've never had an experience of such a bad room cleaning ever.
The breakfast is limited, and does not change all week, only very slightly.
Rooms in the 2nd floor are very bad, so take one in the first or ground floor.
If it were cleaner it could have easily been a4/5, but apparently the management does not handle this issue well (other reviews also complain about cleaning)
