Hotels on first line in Zakynthos

Room: junior Suite - Only down side is air con is on a timer for all rooms, you can pay to upgrade but in my personal opinion, air con should be included as standard, even with a "fair usage" policy off needed

2 pools, both clean, plenty of sun loungers, had the sun all over for most of the day, close to bar (shout out to Stathis, top barman!) Overall: would recommend

Chefs/waiting staff polite, always greet you, quick to clear plates. Cleaning staff always smiley, and did a fantastic job cleaning the rooms daily

My little lad loved both pools but his favourite was the kids pool, guessing this is due to the slide and stuff! Evening entertainment varied and was pretty standard hotel antics

Stayed for 7 days, 2 adults (wife is pregnant). Room - Junior Suite All Inclusive Overall a very pleasant experience

The pool was cleaned daily and everything was clean and tidy

spiros is the loveliest man and will take great care of you and so will george! the pool is lush and we booked the premium room (definitely worth it) and it was boujee i loved it, so so gorgeous and exactly the same as the photo, i 100% recommend getting the premium as the standard rooms aren’t great

I would recommend upgrading to the newer rooms but i believe by next year they should all be newly renovated anyway! Shoutout to the Ryan Reynolds and Micheal moon likealikes

it is a family resort with lots to do for kids but not so much for couples! We loved the private pool. drinks are not good but the food is ok for an all inclusive resort. Best point: it is 30 minutes walk to St

Nicholas and Banana Beach (amazing beaches)! it is close to lovely restaurants if you fancy something different. In general our room was very good

Great little beach at the bottom. Although a big hotel (or rather one fair sized one attached to 2 others) it is pretty remote, so ideal for a relaxing holiday. Staff are all incredible, friendly, and helpful

Also, although there is acres of space around the pools and weird not pool, pool area, there is a very limited number of sunloungers

On top of this, even though the have a "in the interest of fairness, belongings left for more than 45 minutes will be removed from loungers" it is not policed and the staff do nothing when challenged

The location is perfect if you're seeking a decent sand beach free from the omnipresent paid or hotel reserved sunbeds, town proximity, yet avoiding the loudest sources of music and shows, this is a great compromise

The service was great, the personalle was helpufull and nice, we had good and quality food, with options for every taste. The location, outstanding, right on the beach. It was also very clean, towels were changed daily

The location was a big plus, right on the beach. The minus - the water and beach were dirty there, too many small boats, some oil split. The rooms are small, the furniture is very old, but comfortable

Hotel in great location onto the sea front

We stayed for one week and it was really nice. The furniture is a bit old, it's true, but it was no problem at all

There were lots of wasps around the property (couldn't properly enjoy the pool and outdoor spaces). We were there in October, not sure if this is common for other seasons

The pool and the restaurant terrace have this wonderful view and the ocean side rooms and suites as well. The restaurant has great food for me, the menu changes by day so it never got be bored

Nice Hotel four star hotel, there is a toilet and shower by the outside pool but when I went to use it was told it isn’t open at the moment so they told me I had to go downstairs and use the toilet by reception, found the waiting on Staff very pleasant but my only complaint is had a liquor priced at €7 but on check out charged me €10 when I mentioned this to the receptionist her reply was I don’t make...

The room we stayed in is definitely in need of a proper renovation, however it was clean. The pool only opens at 11 for some reason and it's not heated

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. They were always friendly, welcoming, and truly cared about making our stay unforgettable

Whether it was enjoying breakfast with the view, or watching the sunset in the evening, it made every moment special. The service was outstanding; nothing was ever too much to ask

The gentleman who runs the garden bar and breakfast is very funny and very helpful and the lady who works there aswell. Stunning beach right outside of the hotel

Basic rooms but personally you don’t spend much time in your room, the bathroom could do with a revamp. From the balcony we could see the sea and the mountains and it was a sun trap in the mornings

On the seafront in good location.Rooms basic but clean.Staff very friendly.Classed as 4 🌟, I thought maybe 3 🌟. Tax for the rooms i found expensive,140 EUro for 2 weeks.

First time here and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room had a stunning view and always cleaned everyday, beds are very comfy but no kettle in room. Breakfast food is lovey and delicious

Overall a fantastic stay, great location, slightly out of the main restaurant/bar area of Argassi but only a few minutes walk. The hotel was exceptionally clean, with friendly staff

The sea view room you booked can see the sea. Across the road from the hotel is a long beach coastline. The tap water on this island is too salty to even rinse your mouth

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The free parking was very convenient and its location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the trendy areas

Spacious and bright room, great location

Just over the road from a pebbly beach but there are two points on the way into town where you can access the sea for those that like a swim

It is a pretty good hotel that can be booked in the off-season. The room is not too big, there is free parking, it faces the sea, it is not far from the port and the airport, and the breakfast is also rich.

However the hotel itself is close to Solomos square, that has an entrance to the port, and a bus station to Tsilivi (and tourist "train" to Kalamaki), that has that wonderful, sandy greek beach

The Beach & main part of town was a 10/ 15 walk from the hotel, or just around the corner you can catch a bus, it also takes you to zante and other towns, there is also a ferry you can take to zante or other islands to explore greece

Makis on reception was very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Rooms were pleasant - the shower was very good and hairdryer great! We had a room facing the pool. The facilities in the room were good

There were no parasols on the last day as the sunbeds were being packed away. I do understand the hotel had to pack up but it shouldn't really happen while guests are still staying

My wife and I have just returned from a trip to Zante that included 5 nights at the Atlantis Hotel in Laganas. The hotel is situated in a quiet back street about 20 minutes walking distance from the main beach

The room had a fridge and was well stocked with a kettle, water, wine, tea and coffee, toiletries and disposable slippers. The pool is a good size with sufficient sun beds to go round

In summary- staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great but don't go in the last week of October!

In the morning, you can do yoga or other exercises with a trainer, and in the evenings, there are attractions by the main pool, such as a regional dance show or live music

Very kind staff, always smiling and made us feel comfortable. Very good cleaning, food and enterteiment music at every evening. Little bit middle of nowhere, we hired a car to see something else too

Nearest city Laganas is full of bars, restautants and Disco, not original greek at all

Hotel as clean, the beds were so comfortable. We had a swim up pool room first week and then a first floor bedroom at the back of the hotel where you get the sun in the afternoon and quieter in the evening

Doe's the job if you are just purely on holiday to party. I went with 11 other lads for the 18/30's. Basic room, cheap eating area and a good sized pool to chill around whilst recovering from the night before.

Stayed here in June for a girls holiday and we couldn’t fault it. The rooms were clean and the pool area was very nice, the staff were also lovely

Our room was clean and tidy, the staff friendly and the food delicious! The manager, Nikos, help us several times with how to reach the sightseeing and where to try the best local food

Obviously it’s cheap so it’s not going to be perfect but it was great for us

We have had an amazing stay in Karras Hotel in Laganas. The hotel is located in close proximity of the beach. The staff members and hotel managers are very friendly and they know how to welcome their guests

next day came back from the beach to a super comfy mattress topper to cover the singles and fresh sheets ! Much appreciated. All of the staff have been lovely,giving a nice atmosphere

YES, the rooms are a bit basic, but spotlessly Clean, and the Towels and Bedding are changed Daily. As mentioned in other reviews it's about a 15 min walk to the Town (Cab back 8 Euro's)

The view from the Balcony was amazing, the Air-Con was ok (which only works when the Balcony Doors are shut) which makes sense

All I can say about the Negative Reviews on here is "Did You Stay At The Same Hotel" Because I couldn't find anything remotely like what people have commented on

The beach is stones so take beach shoes if you want to go down there. This is just outside the main town and you need to walk on the road for about 300m when you walk in so be aware of that

It's a very basic hotel, built a long time ago but it's clean, spacious and well maintained. The location, sea views and access to the beach below your balcony is crazy good

First of all this hotel is located right at the beach and shares the swimming pool with hotel paradise next to it. View from balcony is great when you have sea view

+ hotel is located right next to the sea, has private beach with free sun beds + good views from the balcony + suite was okay, but reconstruction needed + nice hotel workers - breakfasts was awful, everyday! It should be illegal to feed people this way - suits located above the road could be very noisy - 10 euro/day for air conditioning is wild!

The service is nice, from reception to the cleaning ladies and the breakfast staff. Swimming pool super nice with enough places to chill. Price quality ratio is definitely okay but please do something about the showers

For Cooling Room you news to pay additional money, wifi signal was horrible. Nice attractive place, nice beach

I've stayed in several hotels in Argassi. It had the most comfortable beds! We had wonderful stay! So great, that I organised my camp there. Everyone was over the moon and back. I think it is great value for your money

The reception is staffed 24 hours, which adds a strong sense of security and convenience. They also assisted with arranging a taxi to the airport at a fixed rate of €15, which was very helpful

He used his advice often! The hotel is very close to the bank, the hotel and the square, so many snack bars! If you want to go on a beach holiday, it is advisable to rent a car (we found out only on the island), because there is no beach near the hotel where you can swim

What stood out most was how clean everything was—our room, the lobby, even the pool area. And you can’t beat the location—walking distance to everything in Zakynthos Town

During my stay over Easter, the city center was quite lively and noisy, but the front desk staff were very kind and proactively helped me move to a larger and quieter room, which made a big difference to my experience

Great location, staff are so friendly loved our room it was spotlessly clean beds are comfortable and we was overlooking the pool,bar in the night played music into the early hours but was more of a distant sound so it didn't bother us

Just dropped by they are not yet open but are very busy preparing the building for the upcoming season. Stayed many times before it is a lovely hotel and the host's are brilliant.

We arrived mid afternoon and were told our rooms weren't ready, so hit the bar! We were then escorted to our room by Patricia. It was a ground level room with a private bathing area and sunbeds outside

Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Just 5 or10 minutes walk to the main resort area and 20 minutes to the beach. A shuttle bus is provided, but I was happy to walk

The manager, Spiros, went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. The receptionist was always so kind and helpful, and every staff member we met was friendly and professional

We stayed for 8 nights bed and breakfast and enjoyed a varied choice of food every day. The beach area was poor, small with little sand but the sea was lovely

The best cocktails in Argassi! The bartender is very friendly and has served us a delicious cocktail by the pool almost every afternoon. Highly recommended!

We had scrching weather for 7 days until thunderstorms came in on our last night so badly the airport closed and no aircraft were allowed to land

All the staff were brilliant and their shuttle service spot on , can’t fault the hotel or staff, and when we are back in Zakynthos will head for the Varres rather then a beach all inclusive hotel

My family and I highly recommend the amazing Hotel Varres! All of the staff were extremely friendly and polite - they helped us with a couple of restaurant recommendations (which were excellent) and spots to visit along the coastline and in the city centre

People who work there are amazing! Service is great! We used the transfer to go to the beach and the girl who brought us there was lovely! Thank you very much for the great time! The view was breathtaking!Recommend it! ☀️

The hotel is not next to the beach, but this is not an issue! You can have a transfer from there to any place that you want to visit

Nice view from the hotel - there is a pool with sea view. However, very far away from everything. If you want to go eat in town, can only call taxi (15 euro for 3-4km drive)

The rooms are relatively new and modern, unlike the old hotels in Europe. They are clean and sanitary, with complete facilities. The hotel is located by the sea and has a beautiful view of the sea.

They had a lot of parking space (btw, you really need a car in Zakynthos). Pool area was very nice and clean and they gave us other towels for staying at the pool

Restaurant at the pool served a breakfast which was good and versatile enought - they also had lunch and drinks for affordable price

I didn't expect that high quality for this price. We highly recommend Ionian Hill Hotel! We liked the room, service, location and flexibility. We got our room earlier than expected when we arrived

Nice hotel with all rooms with sea view. Take a dip in pool or just down the steps and you are right in the sea.brill.

The other fish tasted wonderful as well. The staff was lovely too; everything was possible. We were allowed to change tables between the courses because we wanted to sit closest to the sea

Service here is just beyond expected! Reception is the nicest, they prepared the room for us even before the check out, after the check out we stored our luggage there, they always called us a taxi when needed … really amazing

We went there twice because one visit isn't enough. Delicious dishes for reasonable prices. We loved the 3 bruchettas as starters but the mushrooms were lovely too. The anadalis risotto was the best risotto I ever had

The second night we even got a dessert on the house: a chocolate mousse from heaven so good. I highly recommend visiting this place. Lovely view, great food and a very friendly staff
