Cactus hotel was great! Quick walk to main strip and beach area, but far enough away that it’s not noisy at night!

Enjoyed a delightful stay at Cactus Hotel Zakynthos. The small hotel boasts lovely, clean rooms in excellent condition. The remarkable breakfast, prepared with love, exceeded my expectations

Out of the way from crowded and touristy Laganas, ILIOS is a calm couples' retreat in walking distance to the beach and local restaurants

Walking distance to the closest mini market is 2 minutes, with 10 minutes to the start of the restaurant street and 20 minutes or so to the beach

After staying 8 days in Sep/Oct 24, I'd recommend it as a cozy alternative to being in the midst of the Laganas neon landscape

Service was excellent and the entire hotel was clean, recently renovated and not too crowded

But one problem was the security guard who was to aggressive towards young girls who were simply having a conversation and asking them to come outside to hear the noise with him was innapropriate

The food and staff were lovely place was very clean

There is a pool and there are few people - mostly czech and polish. Beach is really far from hotel, but you can take a hotel bus to the beach and back. We were a Little bit sad with food - Always the same, no big options

The food is incredibly delicious, as from mom, a large selection, even seafood sometimes, but I recommend people with allergies to clarify the menu in advance, there is no information about allergens on the labels

It's a little far to the beach and the city, but you can also walk, about 20 minutes, there is a bus from the hotel to the beach or you can order a taxi for 10-15 euros

Everything was fine except the bathrooms, which need refurbishment this was the only negative thing about the hotel. The staff were young and very friendly always willing to help. Pool was really clean and enjoyable

Food was nice, however breakfast could be better! Drinks were great. A little far from the beach as the hotel is located on a hill so renting a car is a must

Stayed for 3 wks studio was serviced daily excellent maid very quiet considering it is town centre , many bars,cafes & restaurants to choose from all within walking distance

Location excellent, literally right next to the beach, no issues getting a sunbed, pool great and bar service to pool also very good. Staff all very friendly and welcoming

We were given our own private shower room downstairs and still had a lovely sea-view room upstairs

Never had evening meal as restaurant closed at 17:00hrs, unbelievable! This hotel is very good for a bed for the night and in an ideal location, next to beach and very close to the strip

When we arrived, we were told there was a problem with our room – the previous guests had cracked the tub so the shower wasn’t usable. At first we were a bit worried about what that meant, but it all turned out fine

It was a bit of a hassle having to go downstairs to shower, but honestly, watching the sunrise from our balcony made up for it. The staff were all super friendly and helpful

Breakfast was monotonous and very basic, we stopped having breakfast after day 3, as it was just so awful, coffee machine in restaurant was simply dire

We had a great 2 week stay in a superior second floor apartment, it was very clean, a good size and the balcony had an AMAZING view. The pool was lovely and did alternate days with the beach

We also enjoyed the walk down of an evening to go and have dinner. Tsilivi itself is a fabulous resort, so many restaurants and bars, you are really spoilt for choice. The beach is beautiful, had an amazing stay

It’s a great hotel with a great environment and a beautiful swimming pool. The owner’s two little daughters had a great time playing with my little cotton-padded jacket

The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly. They have a swimming pool, and the water was nice and warm during the day.

We were a little skeptical about visiting Laganas at first because of its reputation for being a younger, livelier resort, but friends assured us that outside of the peak season it’s a completely different experience — and they were absolutely right! We’re so glad we listened and booked the Hotel Tzante

Pool area was fantastic, food and drinks from snack bar were really good. The room might needs a little TLC but it was clean and that's the most important thing. I'd definitely come back here 🙂

There’s also a stylish, modern bar area and a lovely pool bar serving drinks and food throughout the day at very reasonable prices — the perfect place to relax and unwind

The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to the beach and right in the heart of everything without being noisy

The family who own and run the hotel are always around, and it really shows in the attention to detail and the high standards throughout the property. They genuinely care about their guests and it makes such a difference

The pool area is also a big plus: clean, well-maintained, with plenty of sunbeds and a calm, relaxing vibe. Our kids had a blast, and we could truly unwind

On arrival, the complex looked really lovely and the bar by the pool was busy

The pool area was good always sunbeds available and you can use the Dream Hotel next door which we did frequently

Breakfast Going into breakfast always 2 staff on the door I assume to greet you but I never got a good morning once, after about the 3rd day I gave up trying. Wasps/hornets all over the jams marmalade honey and cakes

Dead wasps in the honey are removed by staff with a spoon and honey is left there. The cereal was very poor and the bread was dry and stale. The hot food selection was passable the egg selection was the best of all

Fruit juices came out of a machine which tasted more like cordial and was not very drinkable. The tables outside were never set for breakfast if you wanted to eat outside you had to set your own table

Very good location, with pool and great view. Not far from the beach, though the beach is not the best (stones, very narrow)

One of the nicest places to stay it was fabulous great breakfast lovely pool and the apartment was amazing cleaned everyday fresh towels and pool towels and Nikos and his staff looked after us all the time definitely be back enjoyed every minute thank you

Great view! Wonderful breakfast! Very helpful staff who gave us many helpful recommendations for restaurants and tours! My only complaint is the weak wifi reception. It’s extremely slow even opening common website

However, we opted to refill it at the pool bar without any issue. I also strongly recommend bringing your own sunshade since renting one at the beach costs between 15-50 € per day

Loved this hotel - good location to Laganas ***** by beach or road walk Immaculately maintained in all areas around pool etc Food- a great choice for everyone - plentiful and restaurant staff always quick to clear plates away and refill dishes Always delicious salads - desserts and main courses available AL A CARTE a must - as delicious and at 20 euros with wine a steal Reception staff brilliant...

On the positive side, at the pool, sunbeds and sunshades are free and plentiful. Both evening programs were also incredibly enjoyable; I would have loved for there to be one every night

Room: spacious with plenty of storage space, very quiet, extremely comfortable bed and good pillows. Outside: good size pools, so clean they sparkled. Plenty of comfortable sun beds

We'd booked land view, but they changed us to pool view as it was our anniversary. Fruit and wine in the room to celebrate. All the staff were so kind and worked really hard. The reception girls were fantastic

Third, the food is delicious (saw some hateful comments towards this aspect) but both the breakfast & dinner you'll always find something to eat and on dinner they always cook something out of beef/chicken/pork/seafood & some vegetables + feta cheese + always they have something sweet, the only negative aspect on dinner would be the wasps that are annoying but that's something that's quite common around...

If you wish to visit Zakynthos I highly recommend to stay at this hotel. It is in a very quiet area,our room had balcony with view to the sea,the hotel has an outdoor pool and the water is very clean

Second the rooms might not be big or anything fancy, but they're clean & the AC is absolutely the best (it doesn't turn the room into a refrigerator and makes it too cold, it's just makes it the best for sleeping during night or naps during torrid days) + the view is gorgeous to see the mountains & half the sea

A wonderful location! Everything was perfect: the friendliness of the staff, the location of the hotel in a quiet area with a gorgeous garden, the excellent pool, cleanliness, the air-conditioned rooms, the varied breakfast and dinner

First, we've been greeted by a very kind receptionist lady, that was beyond polite to assist us with any kind of questions regarding the hotel/area/beaches & everything + recommendations and the overall staff is very kind & polite

Fourth, the small beach nearby is wild & rocky, but it's very good for some swimming around & highly recommend for snorkeling because it has a view. Overall worth it & highly recommend! For both couples & families

The best hotel ever. Close to Laganas beach. The hotel offers free shuttle services to and from the beach. Friendly staff. Great food with fresh fruits picked from their garden. Swimming pool Is not crowded.

Pool good size and well maintained, food at the pool bar is good quality and portion size is huge. Staff are very professional, engaging and attentive

Lovely little Gem in Zante if you don't mind a walk we thought it beautiful, friendly staff ,food ,drinks all great. Room spotless no complaints at all

Special mention for the minibus driver who came back to pick us up from the beach when there was no room for us. Minibus drops and picks up from the beach throughout the day. Really useful as it is a long walk

We had a lovely stay from the 2/9/25 to 9/9/25. You couldn't fault any of the staff, they all couldn't do enough for us. They made my birthday very special with a vase of flowers and a bottle of bubbly

We booked very last minute, read the reviews, they really don’t give the place enough praise. On arrival received a warm welcome from reception, which never falters each and every time you return

Excellent holiday, lovely well priced food & all the staff from reception, beach/bar staff through to the lovely cleaners made our stay so special.

We didn’t stay at the hotel so this review is for food only. On a trip out for the day we stopped here for brunch. We both ordered the cheese and ham omelette with a side of chips. The omelette was delicious and huge

Just spent 10 days at Hotel Valais a truly beautiful hotel on the beach. Exceptionally clean staff couldn’t do enough for you. Julie and Wayne who run the restaurant and bar were so welcoming they made our stay

In hindsight, we should have ordered one and shared it. Us and another couple had a problem with wasps (not the restaurants fault) so they did everything they could and helped us to move tables

You could either rent beach chairs for 25€ a day (which is a fair price for an entire day for 2 peoplel) or bring your own towels and just lay at the beach for free

Our room got cleaned every day, we got provided with fresh towels, toilet paper, new coffee and cups and neat sheets every time. When there were any minor issues the Staff at the reception instantly made sure to solve it

The room is right by the sea, and the sea view rooms offer ocean views. It's just a 1-minute walk from the pickup point for the Shipwreck Beach boat tour. Breakfast is plentiful and satisfying

The hotel was very clean and beautiful. I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of choices.

The sea view room was actually two rooms, and they even allowed us to check out at 1 PM, which is practically unheard of in Europe

Like the view from the balcony, facing the square and the sea. Many shops and restaurants nearby, very convenient.

During the off-season, there's a 5 euro environmental tax per person upon checkout

The location is excellent, isolated from Solomon Square, and there is a simple supermarket less than 100 meters away. The breakfast is delicious and the drinks are excellent. The room has a beautiful view of the marina.

The villas are a short walk to beautiful Planos beach with a fantastic restaurant, The Halfway House, and shops across the road. We highly recommend and will return

Wonderful Fantastic location for beach, bars and restaurants only a few meters from each yet within a gated area very private and quiet.

The villas are spacious and well-appointed with a great welcome basket, robes and additional pool towels provided

There was the main room downstairs, which was huge and leads out to the swimming pool and has its own bathroom

Stayed here in mid July as a family of 6. This was our first time choosing a villa and we absolutely loved it. I couldn’t find that much info on the villa before our trip so will try and give as much info as possible

Mamfredas Resort provides excellent villas is a secure, gated area with a reception. The team offer 5-star service with daily cleaning and support in booking trips etc

What makes this hotel stand out really is the staff, they make you feel like family and the food is amazing!! think we ate our own body weight in tatziki and pitta bread! The pool was lovely albeit the usual dive bombing wasps and insects drowning in there (which I tried to save daily) and no trouble getting sunbeds

The pool area was great, plenty of sunbeds, easy access down the steps and the cocktails from the bar were fantastic (we had a few!)

The room was spacious and had all the essentials and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool/garden

We had a really lovely stay at **Plessas Palace. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable, which was all we needed. The shower always had hot water, and the bed was comfy – perfect after a day in the sun

We ate at the hotel a few times and were really impressed – the food was delicious, so definitely worth staying in for dinner some nights. Overall, we had a really relaxing, stress-free holiday

They made sure we had the most amazing time. Maria is so welcoming and accommodating. And their family are just incredible lovely people. We will definitely be returning in the near future

Also greek yoghurt, fruit and pastries as well. A great pool and no fighting for sunbeds

Only been here a couple of days but loving the vibe. Pool area is lovely and Daria who mans the bar is so friendly and helpful. Other staff are welcoming and friendly too. Local restaurants serve good local food

My Wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel for 10 nights. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Fantastic staff made everything perfect. Only the weather let us down, having thunderstorms for a few days

The pool area is lovely and the local beaches are close by and worth stepping out for. Reception staff were really helpful and sorted out car hire and an immediate room change on arrival

The bar served a nice range of food all day and the cocktails were fab. A mini market and a couple of Tavernas opposite the hotel and more a short walk away. Lovely beach (St Nicholas) 200m from hotel and others nearby

There are a couple of tavernas a minutes walk away and a couple more on the beach which is only around 200m away. The breakfast was great too, with eggs, bacon, beans and sausages

Lovely and calm hotel near the beach and the town center. Special greetings to Yannis and his team who took care of us and made sure we spent a wonderful stay on the island

Stayed for a week in September and nothing was too much trouble for Yiannis and his amazing team. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, huge terrace. Something for all tastes at breakfast

We never not had a sunbed when we needed one. Location is good, with a small store about 100m down the road, a good restaurant in front and the beautiful tsilivi beach only 300m away

Lovely pool area and cute kittens and cats to fuss. All the team were so friendly and helpful it was a wrench to leave. Short 5 min walk to bars and restaurants. Highly recommend Sunny Garden!

Great place Only stayed one night but found everything great was made to feel as if i was staying for a fortnight very welcoming and will be back

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the location is great, just a short walk to the sea and shops. Our room was clean and comfortable

Overall we felt great, the pool was clean and the water just fine. Breakfast was mild, as you can expect from any hotel of this kind

The obly bad this that I can mention is the bathroom that was kinda small and the water kept splashing from the shower cabin as it didn't had any curtain or door

What a nice hotel. Few little problems with room but always willing to fix quicky. Only down fall is we are here for two weeks and had to pay £160 Euros for air con and safe . Would come back

I want to start this review by appauding the staff, great people starting with hotel manager Petros who was more than welcoming and hospitable with us

We stayed in this hotel with family. The pool and breakfast was also good. There were few minor things, that we were not happy about

We were two couples and we had rooms togheter, each room had a terrace. The cleaning staff came everyday and changed the sheets and towels and also cleaned the terrace

Restaurant is open for lunch and evening meals, great choices on the menu and large portions! Lovely pool and beautiful sun beds. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Easy walk to the Waterpark and Bouka Beach, longer walk or taxi to the main strip/main beach. Dimitri and family were always friendly and accommodating

It was my wife’s birthday and I asked if they could help with a cake, when we came down for dinner a whole party with hats, cake and decorations had been laid on for us, in an hour! Amazing! Highly recommended

Really lovely hotel and staff are all brilliant. Food was extremely reasonable, and exceptional. Breakfast had a good selection. I wouldn't have a bad word to say about anything at all
