Very comfy hotel, good food, very good wellness including a 25m swimming pool. Helpful staff. The view of Lake Balaton is magical.

The hotel is beautiful. The mens at the entrance are very friendly, they speak English. However, the people working in the restaurant barely understood the room number in English. The first day at dinner no one asked us for drinks, the second day at dinner the lady asked us for drink after we finished eating. The service in the restaurant could be much friendlier. A great hotel in terms of location, services, food, and the workers are very cooperative. The rooms are very clean. A suitable swimming pool and a view of natural scenery. It is very suitable for families and children. There is nothing to complain about.

It's really close to the lake and also has a pool, table tennis, kicker etc. The breakfast isn't something special, but the service is great and as soon as something runs out, they bring new food.

I came here with my son and wife to spend a weekend away from the city. I couldn't expect more from a 3 star hotel. (Summer price is a little bit higher than winter...expectable). Rooms are good. I was here for a mathematical psychology seminar, and we were very well taken care of at Jogar Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quite relaxed about having 35 students in the hotel, playing in the game room until late evening. We felt welcomed and treated well as guests. Good location, nice and cozy family owned hotel. Restaurant is right on the first floor, Balaton is very close if You want to have a nice swim or walk by. Free parking, friendly staff. Hostess speaks also english, which is very good actually as it is not so common in Hungary by my experience.

Come from England to enjoy the beautiful place that is the Balaton. Really recommend staying here the manager and all his staff made our stay as pleasant as possible. We stopped for lunch and the restaurant service was perfect, the stuff was kind and their local menus were delicious and so tasty.

Price reflects the standard of the room so don’t expect too much. Strange smell inside but clean. Comfy mattress and nice view from balcony. There’s kitchen (small) in the room but neither cutlery nor dishes. It’s great that they have swimming pool and jacuzzi.

Kakadu hotel is situated in a quiet piece of town. There is a gas-station approximately 100-150 meters away. The personnel was very nice and they spoke German and English. Breakfest is buffet type and I found it tasty. I can only recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very close to the local strand, has its own restaurant and also has several restaurants in the vecinity. It was a good choice for one night, as we were passing by. We had a rich breakfast. There is also the possibility to have lunch or dinner, menu a la carte, a bar is also on place. The mosquitos really bothered us during our evening walk and on the balcony.

We were here only one night but received only positive emotions. zsh ok so be aware of this hotel, the main building looks beautiful, but no lift for suitcases..quite many high steps. they put us in a Side building, which was just ok. Towels were thin and awful. Breakfast was however very good.

Hotel is about 12 min walk from the bus station. Few minutes walk to the lake Balaton and to the nearby shops. Rooms are good for the price. You have to come to the reception for anything you need. There is no elevator. Breakfast was very basic.

Arrived in the heat after a long day in the saddle. Bike parked in the gazebo shade. Greeted with a nice welcome and told if we're out late to use a different door so we can still get in. Very helpful. Great price. Room was large, airy and had a fantastic balcony with a really nice view. An easy walk to the lake and so many places to eat. Awesome in hotel breakfast.

This Mediterranean hotel is a real gem among the accommodations on Lake Balaton. They are kind, friendly, attentive. The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool is amazing. The train unfortunately goes close, but on the one hand it is natural in Balchin and on the other hand it was not overly disturbing. The guest is welcome to return here!

I spent a weekend here with my family and I really liked this place. It is especially good that it is homely, but still modern and I really liked it, the environment gives the impression of a garden city at first glance, I could even reach the beach within a few minutes on foot. I didn't actually stay here but I had it booked back in June. I was going to Balaton sound festival. I didn't realise that there was no way to drive from Tihany to Zamardi, that you had to get a ferry. Anyway, I was super stressed and they cancelled both my room and my friend's room free of charge.
