Wonderfully located, friendly staff, great scenery. Located on lake Como with private parking and only a few minutes walk from the ferry with cheap transport to Bellagio. Recommended if you are after an Italian owned, more quiet accommodation.

Fantastic experience in every way. The brother and sister team, Silvia and Andrea that run the property went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Good breakfast, nice "locals" restaurant next door, great access to busses and ferries. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Most cheap hotel in this area. Renovation required. My room was very small. Breakfast had very limited assortment.

A somewhat disappointing visit. We had a lovely warm welcome, and the view from our relatively nice room was spectacular, however it was let down by an unpleasant departure. We enquired about leaving our (expensive and important) motorcycle luggage at the hotel for the day after checking out so we could explore comfortably, however when it came time to leave we found out that it would simply be left unattented in the lobby. As we had found the lobby empty repeatedly throughout our stay we were uncomfortable with this but had no other option. After finding another hotel nearby with secure left luggage facilities, we came back to take our luggage. Amusingly, we were able to take it all without the staff noticing...so much for their insistance that it would be secure there!

I loved this hotel and the owners so much I have suggested it to others. We had a balcony and had wine and appetizers out on it before dinner that they suggested. Agriturismo Barcola which was one of the best dinners in Italy for us. Great hospitality, thank you.

Best locations in front of lake como. Breakfast is impressive and all of the staff are very accommodating . The best people we’ve ever met during our Europe trip 👍

Great hospitality, friendly owners who speak English. Room are clean and comfortable and tasty breakfast served in attached restaurant. Ideal situation for Lake and transport around the lake.

Very old hotel not renovated for the last 40 years. A lot of wear and tear on the building. Rooms are very small. Yellow-stained toilet seat needed replacement 25 years ago. Breakfast is poor to say the least. Very little to no sound proofing which disturbs your sleep. Totally overpriced for what you are getting. Owners are arrogant and frugal, meaning it would take them at least another 40 years for any kind of renovation or modernisation.

Wonderful views, phenomenal and diverse breakfast options, and really friendly staff at this family-owned hotel and restaurant. Really enjoyed chatting with one of the owners at breakfast. Great place to stay near the ferries, Villa Ciarlotta, and out of the hustle and bustle of the 3 main towns in the area.
