We loved our stay at Hotel Borgo Di Santa Barbara. We had to stay at this property unexpectedly after our other accommodations fell through and we discovered a gem! The owner greeted us and checked us in early upon arrival. Family run hotel and the service they provided was better than any 5 * hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms were dated but sparkling clean, bit of a walk to the beach however a free shuttle is provided for the beach goers. Sandy beaches with plenty to do and eat nearby. We stayed just one night during a trip to Calabria, having chosen this hotel to visit Arco Magno beach, and we had a wonderful time. 4 stars for the super-kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. To improve the equipment, if you have the peculiarity of receiving dogs and having one of the few beaches in Calabria where dogs can bathe .. you should have a little more attention for 4-legged friends. We came out of season so didn't get all services available. The lido was closed and did not have any sunbeds or umbrella's available to us. Thankfully we had a hire car and could drive to Tropea beach where all facilities were still open. The accommodation was sufficient and clean the only issue being we could not use the oven as it would trip the electrics. Fantastic views and comfy beds.

This property was close to airport, so after arriving in the early hours it was just a short drive there. Room was large with a comfortable bed and bathroom was well lit and very spacious. Maybe instructions to access property could have been sent earlier than late afternoon of the arrival day.

Having a car can be a hassle at times but we loved the very close and convenient free parking area the hotel offered. We were meet by a very nice young lady who (lucky for us) spoke much better English than we spoke Italian. She offered to show us the rooms before we decided, which was great. Nice cosy place. Owner is nice but be a bit patient. In the winter time he was the only one there so he has quite much to handle. Breakfast is decent: butter, cheese, ham, sweet stuff and fruits. We visited the restaurant for dinner. It has a nice terrace with tables, and the view for Stromboli. To eat we ordered fried calamari - it was good and pizza - maybe a bit disappointing the dough. It was heavy a chewy. We ordered also tartufo for dessert and that was very tasty.

It's been a wonderful vacation in Park Oasi!!!! I cant imagine more helpful and friendly hosts, really. We had multiple questions and always got help. We have been in Park Oasy Resort three times already and we like to return here. It has a good location with their own private beach with seats and umbrellas. There is also a life guard. We went to visit Tropea but were relying on Public Transport to move around; considering that, the location was not SUPER IDEAL, but the neighborhood is quiet and well lit so walking was not an issue at all and it made the rest AMAZING! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the place was clean and the breakfast was very complete, we loved it and would definitely go back! Strongly recommend!

The front desk people were very helpful and patient. We were very close to downtown and could buy a converter just a few blocks from the hotel. It is a nice property with cute balconies. Breakfast at the terrace was nice and relaxing.
