Borgo di Santa Barbara is a family-run wonderful hotel which offers large comfortable well equipped rooms with sea views, a swimming pool, a restaurant and bar, an awesome free morning breakfast presentation and is an ideal spot for relaxing or exploring this beautiful region of Calabria. We only visited the restaurant, not the hotel. The food was very good, we had two plates of pasta with seafood. The waiters were efficient and the price was worth it. They even offered us a coffee.

I had a great time celebrating the end of the year in this facility, very kind and professional waiters with that smile that makes you feel immediately at ease.....the food was good both the dinner and the lunch on the first of the year....room cleaning was excellent.....and nothing was missing, there is also a needle and thread kit for emergencies.......a very pleasant stay!

We flew to Italy from the US for a wedding. The hotel is absolutely stunning! The staff we interacted with were very welcoming and in tune with our needs and ensured we had anything we could want. The food and desserts were amazing. I highly recommend this fabulous place.

This property was a short walk from the ferry going to Messina Italy it was also a short walk to the train station where you can take the train to any other Italian city people are very friendly here. Housekeeping kept the room fresh and clean Rooftop Bar was open views were phenomenal

It’s a little off the center of Reggio Calabria but well within walking distance to everything in less than 5 mins it’s near the sea and is a nice quiet sanctuary after a busy shopping day at the center. Supermarkets, cafes, gelato shops all nearby walk along the sea for a beautiful day out.  Food at the 4th floor restaurant is both aesthetically appealing and delicious well worth the dining experience

Stunning view and nice rooms. The only drawback is the WiFi situation. I had to buy an e-sim because I was unable to connect to the WiFi for more than 5 consecutive minutes.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for one night and had a wonderful time. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The pool was clean. We had dinner in their restaurant and it was fantastic! The service was great.

The training that I was one of the participant used this place as a venue, which I am so happy that they did. We stayed there 5 nights. They were so kind and the food we had were delicious. I also had the opportunity to volunteer in the mornings at the farm. What a gem! As a side note, I observed families visiting this place on the weekends... they have a small zoo for kids

It's ok. Good food, not too much, not too little for the main course. A bit disappointed with the "antipasto", it was small but delicious. You'll love the mansion and the acre of land they have, a swimming pool (make sure not to use it after dining) and different animals. The poor pony was under the sun, 35 degrees with flies in its eyes. Ask for the black pork as second course (when they have it)

It was very nice 'start season' stay in this beautiful place. 2-bedroom apartment with sea view is gorgeus, spacious rooms, has everything you need in kitchen. The service and the staff was excellent, no doubt. The guy at the entrance was super helpful and helped us to reserve a taxi for the airport. Nice old Italian town worth a visit but be warned this is steep , any age / health issues use the tuk tuks , but negotiate the price if you think it’s a bit pricey.
