Having never been to Calabria, we had open minds. Recommended by our travel agent, Hotel Savant suited our needs perfectly. Saverio (Sav) and brother Antonio (ant) provided friendly, inclusive and responsive hospitality. In fact, Saverio was our driver and tour guide one day. Sure, the decor is dated but it’s central and clean. If your budget doesn’t permit 5 stars, I would recommend.

I love hotels like this. Everything is clean, everything works, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. And the price is very reasonable. Although it's nothing too luxurious and it feels a tiny bit old fashioned, it has a certain pleasantness about it that so many hotels lack. Pros: perfect for couples. Parking available. Amazing view. Private and quiet. Attentive staff. Cons: the building and the common areas need maintenance and some love. The AC in our room did not work properly. They only give you one keycard, so the AC turns on when you come in to the room. Not ideal after spending the day at the beach or in town.

The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from the Parghelia train station/approximately €1 train ride to Tropea. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, but be close to Tropea this is a good option. We often didn’t see a need to leave the resort as the food was great, amenities were decent, and staff is friendly (especially the restaurant staff).

Great place to stay Great hotel in good location. We enjoyed the pool area and the access to the sea. Staff was very friendly and service minded and the breakfast assortment was rich with great variety. Access to the beach club incl shuttle from the parking are was a great bonus. A very very nice place where to go close to Tropea A very elegant but simple hotel with fanastic sea view. Swimming pool nice and very clean. Service is really excellent and all people very kind and helpful.

Oasis of peace Beautiful, quiet retreat just a short 5 min taxi ride into bustling Tropea. We had 3 rooms but some were much smaller. The resort is a retreat for peace. But note: no store on site, limited access to food only during meal times & the beach is a climb down, very small & no service only chairs & umbrellas. Still a great spot. Pool is beautiful!

This property was perfect for a stay after a long day of travel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast the next morning should not be missed. I wish I could have taken this hotel with us at the rest of our trip! Highly recommend.

We stayed in the family suite on the fourth floor and our room was beautiful and so very spacious. We had a balcony overlooking the beach. Rain showed in the bathroom was awesome, all the facilities were modern and the staffs were friendly and so very helpful. Parking was easy and secure. We love it here. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location with private beach. The beach is a little coarse and there are rocks in the ocean, but it was really nice. The pool and pool deck were great. Breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner menus were mediocre. Overall very happy with our stay.

Overall good value for money, you can choose between swimming pool and the beach (although not big one). Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the grounds, the pool was clean and fun. The beach was a bit short, not the water clean and we loved the fact that it was not deep. The area is quiet and not over touristy. The castle is amazing and you get to see it every day while you are at the beach or at the pool. Staff is friendly but not oriented to non-Italian visitors. Animation is the weak side - I often found the games dull and not exciting (example - kicking a ball to someone’s butt). Food is good, you really get to know some of the Italian cuisine. The town nearby (Le Castella) is also amazing.

The holiday was perfect. Nice environment and excellent food. Clean pools, nice sea and clean tidy beach.We appreciate fish snacks and wonderful salads the most. An offer of ice creams for lunch. Excellent evening entertainment.

The service and the staff was excellent, no doubt. The guy at the entrance was super helpful and helped us to reserve a taxi for the airport. The room was spacious and ok, the towels were a bit old and one could notice, also the bedsheets and the pillows. Overall a good experience, cheap, convenient and well located. Breakfast was ok.

Nice place to stay when visiting Reggio Calabria. Parking is on the street and can be a challenge.

The hotel is located in the nice areas, right on the main road, but the room was so quiet. The breakfast was delicious. I was impressed with the sandwich toaster that makes the better taste of a warm breakfast. All the staffs are super friendly.

If you choose this location, please be aware that you need a car in order to travel around. The Spa is not open, they don't let you know anywhere. It is prety far away from public transport and from any other location, if you come without a car you must be prepared to pay for Uber and taxi. The Service was awesome, I came in way too early because of my flight. I arrived dead tired and the really nice stuff let me check in hours before official check in.

It's very remote, and it's difficult to get a taxi; you have to wait about half an hour.

It's a 3 tending to 3.5. Overall not bad. Comfortable rooms especially the bed. Location not bad. He loses a lot for breakfast. Bread that has been left for several days is best avoided. However acceptable. Fixtures are not good, you can hear noises from the street.

Noteworthy hotel. Just outside the traffic of Crotone's seafront but close to the beaches and therefore on the sea. Cozy and clean rooms. Breakfast good but can be improved. Very helpful and kind staff. Overall, positive rating.

For a budget hotel, it is quiet and convenient to the train station and the duomo. Reasonable comfortable bed but only one very flat pillow each. Shower is hot but water flow is weak. Satisfactory breakfast with self fry eggs. Would be nice if a toaster is available as the toastie maker don't make toast Staff were courteous and polite.

Large comfortable room (another chair would have helped) -- alround good value. Only negative was that the reception gave us bad restaurant advice. Unfortunately the hotel is not near the archaeological museum, Reggio's main attraction (about 15 mins walk).
