Hotel Viola in Naples

Unpleasant employee on night shift and rude. I recomend to have all the paperwork well tied up before arriving. During my stay for work ( 5 days, not holidays) I said to them to be one more extra-day and to pay it in the moment. They said no problem, but they asked me for pay the next day better, during 5 days this situation repeated till the end of the week. Finally they said to me the last night they didn't have booking for that night, becoming a very unpleasant situation. They basically laughed in my face and even in that situation didn't helped. Our travel agency of the ministry has also removed it from the list. Be careful with this place and it's employees, just to get a bill or official paperwork is hard, don't let them fool you. The 2 stars actually goes to the nice Manager of the place. Other than that, my room was really dirty and and bathroom was not clean, you can see that handles were not clean and I can't imagine about the rest that eye didn't catch.
Surprisingly the towels and sheets smelled like they were clean. Very disappointing for the price..

Hotel is a dump. Neighborhood is one of the worst near the train station. Scores of homeless an unemployed in the area. Area not safe at night. Watch out for thieves and pickpockets by day and night. Front "lobby" is little more than a check in counter open to the street. There is someone on duty at all times, at least.

dirty, disgusting, smelly rooms. HORRIBLE service and location. We felt so unsafe and afraid, that we decided to leave the hotel right away. The hotel manager yelled at us even though we had already paid for the night. We ended up paying AGAIN and he was so angry. Very unpleasant experience. NEVER GO HERE.

Do not go here! The hotel is in a really creepy neighborhood where we (two girls) did not feel safe at all. The room was very dirty. We decided to leave right away and go to another hotel because we felt so uncomfortable. When we talked to the reception about wanting to leave right now the man at the reception didn’t really speak English and it was very complicated to discuss the the terms of the cancellation. He also got very very angry and threw a book on the ground. Overall a horrible experience.
