We arrived at this hotel having booked on the same day, and we were greeted by a man with a cigarette behind his ear and his shirt unbuttoned down to his chest. This is not a serious hotel.

The owner was very rude and impolite. We don’t speak Italian, and we only asked him if he could translate certain words into English since we didn’t understand what he was saying. He started speaking badly to us and shouting. (He understands and speaks English when it suits him).
We were so tired from the trip that we didn’t even want to pay attention to these incidents.

He took us to the room, and it seemed he realized how rude he had been at first, so he started making jokes and comments which, honestly, we didn’t find funny at all.

Since there are no doors in the hallway, the reception area is directly connected, and at night you could hear everything. Phone calls, shouting, the TV at high volume — all the noise reached the room. It was horrible. In the middle of the night, we woke up to this man yelling at another guest. We couldn’t get any rest.

We had only booked for one night, and we didn’t even shower — the shower had brown, dirty corners, the toilet had no lid... disgusting.

If you’ve read this far and were considering staying here, think twice and don’t make the same mistake we did (unfortunately, we didn’t read the reviews).

Calling this a hotel is a disgrace. By the way, it’s just the first floor of a building “converted” into a “hotel.” The neighborhood is terrible, dirty, and problematic. The building is very neglected, the entrance is always messy and dirty, and the elevator is coin-operated.

Just take a look at how the owner of this “hotel” responds to bad reviews on Booking — with rudeness and insults.
If there are so many bad comments, maybe the problem is him and his management. There’s something called self-criticism.

A good alternative to sleeping on the streets like happened to me. So poorly run I didn’t even use the bathroom and left on first morning for a much better option nearby and for leas money.

Hotel Iris in Naples was a pleasant surprise! The accommodations were nice and clean, and the location was great—just a short walk to the train station, which made our early morning departure easy. Breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus. There was a bit of a language barrier with the staff, but it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect our stay. Overall, a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Naples.

Worst place ever dont even book there, they are rude and lie about service and room not recommended go somewhere else, they disrespect us. They swear to you on their language and host is horrible better you book and pay in property they scam for all

I dont recommend to go there to anyone! The worse place ever, start from ambience of the hotel, location and employes who is working there! Staff re extremely aggressive , when we ask them about elevator and parking, directly they start to show us their attitude a gentelmen start to saying its up to them if they want they will not accept us, was very aggressive we left, without staying there! Price for 1 night 100 evro wich is not worse att all.
Dont go there ever!!!!

We had to overnight there due to a flight time. Hotel is in the 2nd floor of a building, it is not that good for the price we paid. The Room is okay. Door lock was not working but he fixed it. You can hear foot steps out of the room and it was noisy at midnight at the reception where people were talking. The only positive thing that the man arranged a taxi to pick us up at 4 am.

Initially this place seems a little intimidating, we booked last minute due to flight delays and loosing our other hotel. However, after you talk with the front desk staff you will realize they are nice people. They seem a bit abrasive, although they are trying to make sure that they are taking precautions and making sure to take all the necessary steps so that guests have a good experience. After getting our room they offered us beer and wine and asked what time we wanted breakfast. The room was very clean and spacious. Coming from 3 hot American women who are first time Europe travelers, stay here in a pinch or on a budget.

We regret our stay in the hotel. Our flight arrived late in the evening and we were looking for somewhere to rest when we saw their signboard. We were not well received, not treated well and we were sent out earlier than expected. The staff we met was very rude toward us.

I originally booked this hotel because on *********** they offered free airport shuttle. Apparently this amounted to a taxi (not free) telephone number. When I complained, I was sent extremely abusive messages. I couldn't possibly stay there but was still charged. This hotel is in a seedy and unsafe part of Naples.
