Everything about our stay at Weekend a Napoli was perfect. The location, on a hill above the city, gave amazing views just a short walk away with easy access to both the Funicular and Metro providing access to the city below. The Pizzaria opposite requires multiple visits and there are plenty of other local restaurants within walking distance. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and hosts Paolo and Patrizia could not have been more helpful, organising transfers and excursions and delighting our children with homemade breakfast items. We cannot thank them, and Jay-R, enough for how welcome they made us during our stay over the Christmas period. If you are heading to Napoli and want to experience the real Napoli, away from the tourist areas, I cannot recommend Weekend a Napoli highly enough. Thanks to our hosts, Paolo and Francesca, and despite the rainy weather, our stay in Napoli was a very nice experience overall. They helped us with everything, including the trip to Pompeii, lunch and dinner reservations and useful suggestions for organizing our time in Napoli. The suite we stayed in was very cozy, felt like home somehow; breakfast had everything we needed and they even offered us a late check out, which was much appreciated, since the heavy rain spoiled our last day sightseeing; that day happened to be my birthday, for which occasion I received a delicious birthday cake and lots of attention from our hosts, I couldn't have asked for more kindness. So, thank you very much, Paolo and Francesca!

Home is clean, has a unique layout and is tastefully decorated with a family-based motif. A courtyard and garden added to the delight. They were extremely helpful in coordinating transportation and arranging a Pompeii tour for us.. We highly recommend Weekend a Napoli- you will take home a fond memory of your time there and of two exceptionally nice and hospitable people. Thank you Paolo and Patrizia!

Great apartment and location. The hostess was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. 2 good bathrooms, kitchen and lounge. Highly recommended.

It's clear that Patrizia & Paolo enjoy hosting visitors and serving as ambassadors to Naples. They had so many beautiful, thoughtful touches in our suite - traditional and contemporary local art, robes and slippers, an espresso machine, and more. They were so generous with their time, knowledge and passion for history and art. Breakfast every morning was delicious and peaceful in a private dining room filled with endless fascinations. The property location is excellent - a safe and quiet neighborhood, and a beautiful courtyard garden welcomed us to the front door. Within a 1 minute walk there are excellent local pizza and upscale restaurants. Great shopping is just a 5 minute walk up the hill to a pedestrian street. Using the metro system could not have been easier or more convenient, and they are also happy to arrange taxis as needed.

The concierge, Jay, was very nice and helpful showing us around and making us feel welcome. However, we did not feel the hosts were welcoming - they did not even smile at us and were cold and brief while answering questions - a far cry from what we expected from the other reviews that we read before booking. We felt unwelcome in their space. We had to provide an exact time for breakfast, which seemed unnecessary given the items served were only a few chewy slices of bread, processed cheese and fruit. We expected much more for the price and were quite disappointed overall. The hotel was secure and well locked. However, the room was small without any sunlight, which did not seem worth the high price. The bed was two twin beds joined together. Even though the room and bathroom were 'freshly cleaned', there were pieces of hair in the bathroom and the water took 10+ minutes to heat up after we switched it on. Overall, I would recommend booking a hotel in the center of the city for a better experience that is more worth your money.

My trip to Naples was a long time coming and when I booked Weekend a Napoli although it appeared to be exactly what I wanted, I knew it could go either way. I am a crazy SSC Napoli fan, grew up with Neapolitan culture and regional culture in my family and really wanted the opposite of a tourist experience. I wanted to feel like I was in a true home in Naples and that is exactly what I got. Patrizia & Paolo treated me like family and at the same time respected my privacy. They serve the only acceptable coffee ( KIMBO) every morning and will guide you to the most beautiful parts of the neighborhood of Vomero and city of Naples. I cannot express my gratitude to them and will bringing my family back very soon. Forza Napoli Sempre.

The host was very welcoming and even helped book tickets to Pompeii and hotel reservations. The room was beautifully decorated, but it was quite small, making it difficult to walk around after unpacking. It was quite convenient for traveling and dining. Those with allergies should be cautious.
