I booked a boutique hotel, and got a run-down guesthouse room. On arrival we took three trips up the tiny elevator to the 5th floor for check-in, which looked nice. After check-in we were escorted out of the building, to a different elevator, and back into a 3rd floor room. Not only did the room no longer match the pictures, but there was no air conditioning (made a big show of setting the thermostat on a Dyson fan which they claimed was air conditioning, then admitted there was none), I killed cockroaches in the bathroom, the floor was filthy, there were numerous small things broken like a cabinet door with a broken latch and the sink drain you had to hold up by hand, and the motion sensor entry light went on at 4 am for no reason. The "beds" were hard futon mattresses on a hard platform. On the plus side the daytime staff was nice and breakfast was OK. Despite having prepaid for three nights, I chose to book another hotel rather than stay another night being miserable at Hotel Cimarosa. Unrelated to the particular room, do NOT use this hotel if you have limited mobility. We managed to get my wife's wheelchair in by carrying it up stairs to the elevator and folding it to fit in, but there is no access if you can't do stairs.

Very nice and helpful staff. Nice size rooms and clean. Bathroom was nice too. Breakfast was simple but good. Metro and Funicolare around the corner. Some restaurants in the neighbourhood. We loved our stay!

I stayed here in 2023 when I was visiting my family. They had suggested this area. I came back with my sister and BIL. Also my adult kids stayed there one night. Vomero is lovely, lively, and centrally located. It's really a hidden gem. The staff really makes the difference. Manuel at the front desk was communicative and very helpful. He was able to accommodate our requests for room location. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. I would go back there again if I'm visiting Naples. We were able to walk around the neighborhood for shopping, food, and people watching. The Funicular is conveniently located around the corner. You can reach the Palazzo del Plebiscito easily and walk along the water. From the hotel, there are many lovely visita points. Also check out Villa Floridiana. One tip is because Vomero is on a hill, it's easy to get turned around and end up on the wrong street. Use landmarks to keep track!

Our group of seven recently stayed at Hotel Cimarosa, and we all had a fantastic experience! The hotel staff welcomed us warmly. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean, and beautifully designed, which made our stay extra comfortable. The breakfast each morning was pretty good, with a wide selection to suit everyone’s tastes – it was the perfect start to our days. The service from the staff was outstanding; they were attentive and responsive to our needs, going above and beyond to make sure our group had a smooth, enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend Hotel Cimarosa to anyone visiting the area, and we look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Great location
Hotel is small but our room was spacious with a huge bed, the bathroom needs upgraded, the veneer wood round the basin was chipped and peeling off, the trim around the shower looked mouldy although it was clean it looked scruffy and unappealing. I found the dark bathroom very depressing but maybe that’s me.
The hotel is in a good location with nice restaurants and shops right outside, the metro and funicular are also close by.
Breakfast was limited but adequate, all staff were very friendly and helpful.

Manuel at the front desk was so helpful with information and our requests for assistance , and at breakfast I was able to get a cappuccino made specially for me with lactose- free milk! We loved the view from our balcony of the harbour, with Capri and the Sorrento Penninsula in the background, and the Funiccular Centrale right next door to descend easily to the Piazza Plebiscito and Palazzo Reale area. We found nearby restaurants that were great and appreciated the nearby Metro stop.

A bit awkward to find the hotel. But when we did we were delighted with it, the area it is in is lovely, it has plenty of restaurants and bars and is beautiful in general I always felt safe.the hotel itself was clean well run, and I couldn't really fault it, I enjoyed the breakfast typical Italian style. Yes there can be noise at night, but I enjoyed listening to a busy wk end in naples.also the lads in the station bar nxt door were gentlemen, I enjoyed chatting to them !

If you are visiting Naples for the first time, I recommend this place. It may be difficult to check on the map, but the location of this hotel is very good. You can go directly to the city by mountain train, and the subway station is right in front, so you can easily travel throughout Naples. Of course, the hotel's facilities and kindness are impeccable. However, it is unfortunate that the breakfast has never changed during the three days. At night, there are plenty of things to see and drink around, and the atmosphere is good. Personally, the first priority is the feeling of spicy safety.

Very nice boutique hotel. Nice and newly renovated rooms, and a very friendly staff. The location is perfect, many good restaurants and bars in the area. Trams and metro stations are just outside the front door.

This is the loveliest little boutique hotel!! Situated in the posh Vomero section of Napoli in a classic neighborhood building. The hotel and surrounding areas offer commanding views of the city, great shopping, restaurants and easy, quick access to public transportation to get to and from anywhere in the city and/or the islands. The rooms were well appointed, quiet clean and cool. The staff was delightful and very responsive to all our needs. They served a pleasant breakfast which made the perfect start to our days. Highly recommend booking your stay here- it will not disappoint!
