Hotels on first line in Naples

We have stayed in Palazzo Chiatamone for 5 nights and it is highly recommended. The room is spacious although the shower tray is a little bit tight. It is closed to seashore, a convenient location with lot of restaurants

When we return from vacation, we always stop in Naples. This year, we chose Palazzo Chiatamone, which is very beautiful and well-kept. Two flaws, however, are the lack of bidet towels and the breakfast

We had a lovely breakfast that was included and the price was perfect. The only downside is that you need to check in within a specific timeframe (front desk closes). The wifi wasn't always 100% reliable

Fresh towels were provided daily, and the room could be cleaned daily upon request. The breakfast selection was extensive, including hot coffee, yogurt, sweet breads and cakes, and savory options

The room was very clean, with a small balcony overlooking the street. The shower was small, but it had a door that closed, so showering didn't flood the bathroom, which was reassuring

The B&B it two streets away from the water and a series of great restaurants. I would not stay near the train station - it had the opposite feel and it would have ruined our trip

The owner is friendly, very nice, he was waiting for us, but we realized that it would be better to inform in advance about the time of our arrival, since he is not there constantly, but only placed and gave us the keys and a coupon for food in the cafe under our room, we did not see him anymore

The property looks into the Galleria Umberto I. Big room high ceilings. Fantastic.

The novelty of the journey is always integrated with the local atmosphere! In addition, their service is thoughtful, considerate and enthusiastic❤️! Love it, I will definitely come again next time I come to Naples!

A small hotel, converted from a huge apartment, is located on the 4th floor of the Umberto 1 Gallery, built in the late 19th century. You need to enter through the arch from the side of Via Toledo

The French balcony of our room with huge arched windows looked directly into the space of a cross-shaped gallery, covered with a high glass roof. Everything in the room is very clean, new

I love this hotel so much! Maybe it's called a B&B. Anyway, it's full of local characteristics. When I looked down from the balcony, I just wanted to scream with excitement

Situated in a great location, overlooking the gulf, in a quieter part of Naples, Primopiano is a very stylish and comfortable place to stay

Decoration and breathtaking view make it a very nice and luxurious retreat after a long day out. Host and staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely our place to go from now on…

We had multiple people before hand mention how 'unsafe' Naples was however the hotel is only a hundred metres or so from the US Consulate so there are routinely Police and armed patrols so very comfortable to be put in this area late at night

We stayed in the Ischia room at Seaside Caracciolo and had a truly wonderful time! The room was spotless, fragrant, and meticulously maintained, with a window overlooking the sea

We were very pleased with the hotel. The host was easily contactable on WhatsApp and we were able to check in a few hours early. The hotel is situated West of the Naples which is easily accessible by foot or transport

The pedestrianised area stretches all the way to the Spanish quarter and near enough to be ferry port so walking/ cycling or Scootering is pleasant. There are various Scooter and E-bike parking close by to the hotel

The explanations were clear, both online and before arrival. To be picky, the room could use a little refreshing because it's showing its age. But this needs to be said to be as objective as possible in this review

We booked the 'Capri' room which overlooks the harbour with views of Vesuvius, the Castle and Capri. One of our tour guides described the area as more residential than touristy if that is your preference

Location was very good but not as central as we usually like, however we had compromised this because of our unfounded preconceived ideas of safety in the city. Room size was great and useable

Even our super early departure of 6am that required us in airport by 4am was meet, he provided taxi pick up at 330am Front desk and housekeeping are superior in service and kindness, next time in Napoli we’ll definitely stay again

Structure taken care of especially in cleanliness. We took it as a group and it was nice to see the children go from one room to another, something we wouldn't have done in HTL

The rooms are welcoming, clean and well furnished, offering an authentic Neapolitan touch. The breakfast, with local products fresh, it was a real delight. The friendly and attentive staff made our stay unforgettable

Safe Fabulous clean friendly staff and certainly located to everything our room was in immaculate condition and definitely affordable we will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Naples

Room was quiet and we pulled cafe table to beside the window for our in-room breakfasts. Common service area provided coffee as needed. Staff were all helpful and cordial

Due to the location, thankfully away from the (shall I say) busy Naples centre, we needed a Taxi to go to the centre, which was taken care of by the reception staff and was always punctually waiting for us in front of the hotel

Nothing to fault really about the room, cozy bed, A/C full control, which was a big PLUS point, as opposed to some central hotels who deactivate the A/C seasonally, clean bathroom, safe etc

The area is relaxed, unlike central Naples, just across the road from the Chiaia riviera in Naples and offers pleasant walks on the Riviera, itself having a choice of restaurants, starting from pizza all the way to fine dining

Breakfast starts at 7:30, so I was more than glad when the staff offered to give us a 'box breakfast to take away' on a day which I needed to go out of the hotel very early for my Taxi

A full breakfast greeted us each morning- eggs, pastries and more cappuccino! A walk along the water is only a few blocks away and the shops and restaurants in the area were friendly, delicious and welcoming

The breakfast and coffee were also a delight. The hotel is situated in a good neighborhood, it is safe and in close proximity to Naples city center, taxi station, banks, shops and food stands

The hosts at Leone made my first visit to Naples simply wonderful! They are very kind and helpful, the rooms are beautiful, clean, and affordable, and breakfast is fabulous

The city of Napoli is beautiful and there are so many things to visit and see, you need a few days time for sure! We stayed for three days in Naples. Our host, Federica, ensured we always had fresh water, fruit juices, and tea in the fridge daily. For breakfast, she provided croissants, waffles, and coffee

Highly recommended place to stay and a great base to explore the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii Train station close by and easy to get to by foot. Great pizza place just 2 minutes walk

The host was easily accessible and gave great recommendations for dinner. She organized a shuttle for us in the morning to Napoli Airport. Very clean, great view of Capri.

Monica was an excellent host who made the best breakfasts in the mornings. She was easy to communicate with and was always ready to help. The only drawback was that the wifi was weak and would not work in our rooms

We have just spent 4 days at Di Palma Suites and have had an excellent stay. The staff/owners were absolutely wonderful - going out of their way to look after us - even coming out at 11

Our room at the Vicoli di Napoli was large and comfortable. The location was convenient to shops and restaurants. The location was also a short walk to the Bay of Naples

We would have to leave our room and go to the kitchen area anytime we wanted to use our phone. We would have loved to have stayed longer

Good location, lots of shops and restaurants within the area. If you book a room, make sure it doesn't face the busy road (towards the sea), as it is very noisy, even with the doors closed

One recommendation, the entry space could use some attention, entering the building’s shared lobby space can use attention, for a better first impression. The hotel itself is very nice

Wonderful designed room, best location. Spacious , clean, comfortable especially for family with 2-3 children. Even they have little pull kitchen and coffee machines with full of capsules 🥰

We had a great stay here the night before our flight! The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are updated. A little tough to find but the staff was great at sending pictures and communicating. Would recommend!

Great location in heart of the action. No issues with noise despite the busy area of Spanish quarter. Staff was helpful and were able to store our luggage there for a few hours after check out

Small porch to step out onto and watch the city. The location is maybe a bit tricky to get to but once there you can walk all the wonderful streets and enjoy all the hustle that is Naples

As with everyplace in Italy, be prepared for lots of walking and stairs! Lots to eat and do within walking distance

Stayed here in june 2025, and it was nothing short of great

After a bit of fighting to find the entrance and thinking we've been scammed we got inside the "hotel" and it looks brand new! Surprisingly our room was a bit down the street but the staff walked us down 2min walking

Very clean and convenient hotel. Rooms (and beds) were comfortable and modern. The hotel staff also arranged transportation services to/from hotel that was reasonably priced and drivers were punctual and friendly

I was with my friends, and for us it was great, big and a cozy, had everything we needed. It is super close to the sea and also close to the train/metro station

Quiet place 3 steps from the promenade to walk or sit down for a drink. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and it's within walking distance of many of the sites you'll want to see and plenty of shops

The neighborhood seems very safe and also the room is inside a complex with a security portal. The room is super clean and tidy, the bed is very comfortable and it has everything you need for your stay

From air conditioning and television to hairdryer through a large closet, full length mirror and mini fridge. Francesco the owner is super friendly and helpful

Also the owner was very kind, helped us with restaurants and also with the transportation to and from the airport

Finding the hotel was a task! It is not a storefront and has one flag type sign above street level. The entrance is a huge green door!!! Just to left of door is a call-box with several owners; one being Caruso

Dial number, reception will let you in. Five meters in and to left you’ll see a small backlit sign and flight of stairs. If you need help ring buzzer and someone will help. The main reception was great

The hotel has just 10 rooms in two separate locations. Half are near reception and others back downstairs, outside across street, then up an elevator. Rooms are clean, modern and very clean

We only stayed one night while transferring through Naples on our way to Florence. The place was very nice but be aware the bedroom area does not have a door in case privacy is a concern

Because we were familiar, it was easy to find. For first/timers, this may be a challenge due to poor signage. On Toledo, go to Big Green door, use the Call Directory on right side

There were a few loud voices in the night outside that woke us up, but seems to be normal for the area. The bed was firm but comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern

Luna caprese is a Lovely little BnB , clean, with good sleep quality. centrally located but right on the sea side promenade, at the same time You can easily walk to all major Naples attractions

Good accommodation: perfect location (close to the sea), spacious room, helpful host. The downside is bad noise insulation: you hear noise from the shared hall and barking dogs on the street.

The metro station is very close to the B&B, and for those who enjoy walking, the seafront promenade leading to Piazza del Plebiscito and other tourist attractions is just a stone's throw away

The hotel is near the metro, there is a supermarket nearby, a bus stop to get to the beaches, but it is also close on foot

The entrance to the building is a bit daunting because it was converted from an old house in Mergellina, but the B&B is located on the third floor (with elevator), and has converted the entire floor into large, well-maintained rooms

My wife and I stayed at Platamon B&B in Naples as part of our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English well. The B&B is located just a street behind the ocean and many nice restaurants

Our room was very nice and clean and was perfect for our honeymoon. The breakfast was also great with many options. One breakfast even included a homemade tiramisu type cake which was delicious

Very important for real coffee lovers, Anna makes the real Neapolitan coffee and offers it at breakfast. Very strategically close to castel dell'ovo on the long stretch in via Caracciolo
