B&B Sorrento Queen in Sorrento

This place is awful, don't book it! The hotel was covered in mold, bugs, and ants—it was absolutely disgusting. The owners are heartless; they wouldn't agree to cancel and even deducted money from my payment. A dishonest and unscrupulous business.

Room was infested with ants and bathroom had mold.
Only 2 outlets, one covered in ants and another in the bathroom so we had to charge our devices overnight in the bathroom.
When we reported the ants and asked to move rooms we were told there was pest spray in the office, help ourselves….
Poor customer service, nasty room and it’s at the edge of town. Find another place to stay!

It was generally okay, lowest price for night, possibility to park the car, more or less bed & breakfast. But:
1. They have some issues with windows that are not cold resistant which might be okay and controlled with air conditioner BUT other guests were smoking outside and I had to sleep in the room full of smoke the whole night.
Either put a sign and explain guests that they can’t smoke in the terrace or do something with proofing windows. Cause I am pregnant and for me it was crucial not to sleep in cigarettes’s smoke.
2. Bathroom really has to be cleaned better. Just make an effort and take out silicon with mold. It’s a quick and easy fix but for guests make a big difference.

Otherwise, hotel has good potential to be good. They are in a very good walkable location, option to park a car nearby is a huge plus. They do leave good check in instructions, provide free water and have reasonable prices on minibar.

the room had clear signs of mold and mildew, including visible growth and staining on the walls, floorboards, and bathroom tiles. Both my fiancé and I became sick during our stay, which we believe was related to prolonged exposure in the room.

When we contacted the host with concerns, she stated there was “no way” there could be mold because previous guests had not complained. She did not apologize, come to inspect the room, or offer any solution. When we asked about moving to another room, we were told the property was fully booked, despite there being no guests in the adjacent rooms.

The room is below ground level, receives no natural sunlight, and is extremely humid. The walls and windows were constantly wet, and the small dehumidifier provided was completely full after just one night. These conditions make the space a clear breeding ground for mold and mildew.

The lack of concern, accountability, or effort to address a legitimate health issue was extremely disappointing.
