The hotel - there are better places as a venue for conferences, great. Conference for 500 people was perfectly organized, with no queues and delays. Rooms are comfortable.
Very nice hotel as you would expect from Hilton. The people were friendly and the accomodations were 1st
Good location, just a short walk into town especially if you take the hidden ally behind the gate at the end of the street. The only minor issue was there was some noise during the day from renovations at the hotel
It's a minor trade off to have properly maintained accomodations
We loved hanging out in the bar/lounge area. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options for anyone to choose. The rooms are a little on the smaller size, but with a beautiful view if you are on the ocean side
Then a nice bottle of Prosecco was delivered once we were in our room. The bartender Giovanni was so nice and helpful. Great man to talk to and made absolutely wonderful cocktails
It’s a mere 7 minute walk to the main square the hotel is beautiful. It’s not far from bus loop But would say 15 minute walk with suitcases. Definitely a great place to stay
The multiple pools & amenities included took it to another level! Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Sorrento!
One of our favorites parts of the hotel is taking in the view, sitting by the pool, and ordering drinks from their excellent bar. Can't recommend this place enough
The town square is a short 5-7 minute walk. Room service and anything you needed was delivered asap. The staff are so polite and helpful. Eggs your way, fruits cereals , baked goods. Room 338 , private great view
My wife and I stayed here for our wedding in Sorrento and loved Grand Hotel Capodimonte. Their rooms are stunning, comfortable, and modern. Their AC works extremely well (shoutout all Americans)
My room had one of the most beatiful views ever. Shutter trip to Sorrento were very convenient and on time. Service at the front desk did everything possible to facilitate day trips to several places
Hotel provided an upgrade with a balcony of all of Sorrento, Naples, and Mt. Vesuvius. Loved and appreciated it.
I felt like everything was taylored for me
The rooms could have been cleaner - found some small hairs around that could have been easily vacuumed. Outside of that, loved the room. The hotel breakfast is OK decent variety and a pretty robust juice jar
Beautiful view of the bay of Naples from the Hotel. The shuttle to and from town was excellent allowed us to visit town for ahopping/dinner without the addrd expense of a cab fare each way. Pool and service was excellent
Shuttle bus service was very good always on time
Swimming pool was lovely, nice and spacious a good siz to do some morning lengths. A lovely hotel to stay in and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento
Lovely hotel in quiet part of town, lovely staff, great breakfast buffet, nice large pool on the main floor. Within walking distance to the town. Lots of nearby restaurants.
Our room was beautiful! Highly recommend room #143 with 2 balconies overlooking the pool and garden, beautiful view of the Mediterranean in the distance and direct access to the lemon garden, pool and restaurant
The dinner options were not appealing to us given the amazing food we had nearby. Housekeeping didn’t clean our room when requested so we had dirty towels, unmade beds foe 2 days
The include breakfast buffet has everything (even for picky American eaters like my spouse) and it’s around the corner from the main shopping street in sorrento with all the stores and restaurants
One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Do yourself a favor and get a room with a balcony, the view is incredible
It’s in the original villa and are two rooms combined into a guest suite. Generously sized bedroom and living room with a dining table that could accommodate 6 easily. The armoires and fireplace were a beautiful touch
We were pleasantly upgraded from a deluxe room to a suite with breathtaking views of the volcano and ocean. The staff were friendly, though service could be a bit more polished
Watch out for the traffic! They may or may not stop for you in the crosswalk!! We enjoyed our experience! Ciao!
Everything was wonderful Staff, room.local, cleanliness,& all around good feeling
We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Flora. The hotel is modern, accessible, and in a great location—just a short 7–10 minute walk to the center of Sorrento
Staff are extremely helpful. Food was good with decent portions. Rooms could do with a little upgrade though. Location is excellent and the swimming pool was large with plenty of sun lounges.
Overall, a wonderful property with stunning views and an ideal location
The views are truly amazing, and with drinks and food being served from the pool bar, it is a relaxing place to enjoy the sun
Fantastic, just about perfect. The staff were friendly, appeared interested in us. They helped my wife who is learning Italian.
We had an issue with the drain in the shower being blocked, but this was quickly fixed after it was reported. The breakfast was disappointing as it was basic, with little variation over the course of the week
Had lunch here and one night for dinner - the food was good but not exceptional. There are much better places in the town for food. The big plus point of the hotel is the pool area
The hotel interior, however, has a budget feel to it and the so called “Superior” Room we had was tiny, poorly furnished (with no bedside tables, no chest of drawers & only a single wardrobe each with no shelves in it
The artwork in the room was creased paper posters fixed to the wall with drawing pins. No coffee/tea making facilities and very poor finish in the Bathroom. The room balcony, however, was spacious with a sea view
She went out of her way to accommodate our family and made sure our kids had double rooms right next to us, which made our stay so much smoother. Her warm attitude and professionalism truly set the tone for the trip
We had a fantastic experience at Ara Maris Hotel & Spa. The entire staff was genuinely welcoming, and the service throughout our stay was exceptional. The rooms were spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable
Everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully maintained. A special shoutout to Julia at the front desk – she was amazing
Daily breakfast was plentiful and some gluten free options. Shower curtain was a dislike, but that's personal taste. Pool area is an attraction especially in summer months I imagine. Alot of space, deck chairs and a bar
They have an excellent breakfast on site and a beautiful pool and surrounding patio with a small spa and a nice gym downstairs
We have just enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Ara Maris, staff friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel positioned in the centre of Sorrento but provided a quiet calm space away from the many tourists in town.
The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the city center, which is very convenient. If the rooms are renovated, this hotel could easily be considered a 5-star property
There is also a rooftop with an amazing view and live music, which adds to the overall experience. We had a one-night à la carte dinner, and the quality was amazing
Quite frankly I've never been treated better in my life, they genuinely can't do enough for you! Across the board fantastic service. Wild rabbits by the jacuzzis aren't for everyone but I loved them!
The hotel rooms are dated and definitely need renovation. However, the breakfast was awesome, with a wide variety of high-quality options
The hotel has a great swimming pool with a nice bar, and the garden offers a beautiful atmosphere. There is live music along with a buffet that includes many options at a reasonable price—unfortunately, we missed it
The hotel grounds were nice, with the sun beds scattered around the hot tub areas and the walk in pool
They even picked up on aspects that we completely forgot about!
I was amazed at the service provided by the entire venue. From the doormen staff to the valletting service, reception, kitchen staff and servers
We didn’t stay or eat here but just had drinks on the terrace. What an absolutely astounding place. Great service, bit expensive as you would expect but not prohibitively so
Additionally we did a cooking class at the hotel’s villa Capo Santa Fortunata with our host Teresa and a wonderful chef
Everyone went above and beyond for us. I would like to thank Angelo and Chiara personally for everything they did for Sam and I. This was truly the best day of our lives and you both made that possible
The service at this hotel is beyond anything we’ve ever experienced. The breakfast is nothing short of incredible
Great location, amazing ambiance with art throughout and an absolutely wonderful staff. The views from our room (305) are exceptional - with two balconies overlooking the Bay of Napoli and Mt Vesuvius
I really like it!!!!!
The room is a little small, but that's a pity, and it's not a problem at all when choosing!
Please note that the hotel pool and breakfast area do not have an ocean view
Girls got to use the pool and take the lift down to beach and boardwalk with chairs and umbrellas. Great location central to everything!
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was excellent, and the view was the most amazing he had ever had. We were close to the shopping, restaurants, and the marina, where we took a few guided tours.
An excellent stay in Sorrento
Excellent property all around with outstanding service, a great rooftop terrace restaurant for fine dining and sunset views with adjacent cocktail bar with live music, and enormous free breakfast with live music and food for the day, and a large pool with plenty of uncrouded lounge chairs
Best hotel service we've ever had, great continental breakfast, convenient location walkable to everything, and even has a private elevator for guests that brings you all the way down to the beach
By FAR the most service oriented hotel!!! Simply gorgeous! Amazing staff… close to city center… walk to Ferry to Capri and the Amalfi Coast! Just premier all the way! Look no further!!!
The hotel is out of town and up the hill, realistically it’s a 35 minute walk from the old town and it’s pretty steep but the hotel provides an hourly shuttle service which is very reliable
Great clean hotel with an amazing view. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the city center was another great bonus.
All I can say is that it was a perfect evening, night, and awakening. The dinner was fantastic, not only for the fish but also for the impeccable service.
VI – she was beautiful and kind, and provided a detailed introduction to Sorrento. The bathroom sink drain in my room was a little slow, but after I mentioned it, someone was immediately called to fix it
The breakfast was plentiful and unique; the apple juice was delicious. I asked the waiter if it had sugar or honey, and he said it was pure juice. The lemon cake and apple pie were also excellent
The staff were polite and attentive. This was the only non-five-star hotel I stayed at during my nearly one-month trip to Europe, but it was the most stunning
Great location for exploring the area. Fabulous grounds ,lovely clean pool and pool area ,pool towels included. Friendly, welcoming and attentive team
The staff were really friendly - & a big shout out to Joe from the bar department, who was so lovely, friendly, & always greeted us with a big smile & refreshing beverage! Antonella on reception was also lovely - & a great person to have on the front desk as guests' first impression of the hotel, as they arrive after a long journey & are greeted by Antonella's friendly face & helpful persona
We've just returned from a Jet2 holiday, on an all-inclusive package & had a lovely week
We're all vegan & didn't struggle to eat
Lunch ,salads ,pasta dishes ,pizza , mini desserts We ate out in the evening as were out touring but other guests said evening food/meals were good. Good choice of drinks throughout the day and in the evening
some areas of the hotel /decor are a little dated but it poses no real problem Food had a good selection bearing in mind this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel food was plentiful
A great hotel in a great location. We had a suite with perfect views of the bay of Napoli. The manager and front desk staff went out of their way to make changes to our room that was improperly booked by a booking agent
This was an amazing hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were there for a golden anniversary and the staff made it really special.
The location was great and the views from the hotel were spectacular.
My only complaint is the air conditioner was turned off for the season. Good thing I travel with a mini fan for the night stand. Could not open balcony doors because of mosquitos, tried that and lost that battle
Lush garden area and nice pool area. Location is perfect for direct access to shopping and dining in the village. One night we ate dinner at the beach club restaurant at the foot of the cliff below the hotel
Fantastic hotel right in the heart of the town. Magnificent view. Very clean. Wonderful staff. Pool on premise was a huge plus
Beautiful historical hotel with stunning views atop the cliffs of Sorrento. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Our suite had an ample twin bed for our daughter in the salon separate from our bedroom
The amenities — from the lounge to the rooftop pool with the view— were all top-notch and well maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, close to everything yet quiet
Cool modern hotel, all of Sorrento within walking distance, great location. Rooftop bar and pool are awesome, and while there are people there. Parking can be pricy, they have a deal with a garage across the st
Exceptional Stay – Perfect in Every Way
Our stay at this hotel was outstanding from start to finish. Everything exceeded our expectations — from the welcome at check-in to the attention to detail throughout our visit
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit every taste. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed
The beds were the most comfortable we had during our travels. Overall, this hotel offers exceptional quality and service. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area
The food is delicious! The wait staff and bartenders are attentive and friendly, nice bar area, nice yet is the outside seating where you look over the Mediterranean
Nice room with a sea view, very helpful and attentive staff, and nice breakfast spread.
The breakfast and the view is one of my favourite things here but there are so many more; the pool is never overcrowded and it is so clean, the terrace and gardens are so beautiful and well maintained, the rooms are clean, fresh and the beds and bedding aid an excellent nights sleep and the beach is the perfect place to relax!
My husband and I celebrated our silver wedding anniversary here in June...
Couldn’t fault this hotel at all, staff were very helpful and rooms were very clean and cleaned everyday, breakfast was great with lots of food verity, the view from the dining room was amazing. Would definitely go back.
Just close enough to be quick trip but far enough away to not be in the crowds. With pool, beach, multiple food options, elegance and to top it off incredible staff. We cannot say enough good things about our stay
The menu was amazing, the decor, flowers, music, setting and fabulous attentive staff made it the most wonderful experience for us that we will treasure forever! Thank you Hotel Parco Dei Principi
Want a towel for the pool area? They'll bring you one but they won't lay it out for you. Nor do they ask if you would like water or a menu. They never bring any type of standard accompaniment (crisps, nuts, olives etc
This hotel is the best! Location on the Bay of Naples, beautiful setting and beautiful property! Awesome breakfast, great staff and great restaurant! Walking distance to everything that you want, scenery, dining, shopping and more
You're basically on your own after the towel and you have to physically get up to flag them down to take any type of order. Same goes for anywhere else in this place
This was one of our favorite hotels we stayed in. The grounds were gorgeous and we were finally able to relax for a little while outside while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The beauty of this place is unparalleled
Amazing property in Sorrento, beautiful hotel, great restaurants, and bars, nice pool and beach club.
Food was excellent. Staff was very helpful and the SUV to airport was safe and comfortable.

🌞 From seashore 2 min
We stayed here for 4 nights and it was our favorite hotel from the trip. The room was very nice, high end features and staff was great. We used the rooftop pool quite a bit with drink and food service it was very good
Service and wait staff at on the rooftop was great constantly bringing towels, adjusting our umbrella, etc
The reception staff could have been move attentive, however the waiters around the pool/cocktail bar were particularly good and very friendly. Everything you could want is within walking distance from the hotel
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. The room size is good and the rooftop pool is great to cool off in after a busy day
We had a first-class experience at this hotel. The room was large and very comfortable, with beautiful blue and white decor and tile work. We appreciated the stunning rooftop bar and the generous breakfast
Fantastic!!! Great staff and the roof top pool and restaurant with an amazing views!!!
The location is good, right next to the bus station. The rooftop pool is beautiful, but you have to go early to watch the sunset in the evening. It is very comfortable to sit on the balcony in the room
We stayed here three nights and had an excellent experience. The staff were extremely accomodating helping us with a booking error we had made, as well as transportation back to Rome
What a beautiful spot! Room was excellent, great location within easy walking distance to the main town square and lots of great restaurants. Would definitely recommend!
The Forte of this hotel is the staff. The reception front office staff are amazing. A very special mention to Valeria,
Claudio
Sebastiano
Ines
Valentina. Raffaele the restaurant host takes great care of his guests
Maria
Carmela from house keeping were fabulous 👌
We recommend this hotel VERY highly
I spent one night with my family. We really enjoyed the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast variety was good and the location of the hotel is great
We used the pool on the ground floor as it was very hot and we wanted the shade. The pool area has some greenery which is nice and takes away the hard edges of bricks and mortar that often surround urban hotels
Beautiful hotel with great service. Saturday night Sorrento dinner was wonderful food and music. Got a fabulous massage with a very skilled therapist. Pool is not heated or temp regulated as advertised
The room itself felt like a great retreat. Facilities & Grounds:
While the weather was a bit too chilly for us to take a dip in the pool, the area looked luxurious and well-maintained
Nice pool and sun are on the roof with view of the bay and Mount Vesuvius
We sat on the rooftop terrace on evening and found it relaxing with a lovely view over the bay of Naples. The location was good a short walk away from the centre of Sorrento. We would definitely recommend this hotel
My wife and I recently had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hotel de la Ville. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to be accommodating
The beauty and history of the property can be felt in every part of the experience, from the picturesque entrance and driveway, to the dreamy lobby, commanding terrace and captivating stairways
We’ve stayed at beautiful hotels around the world, but the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento is truly in a class of its own
Fresh pastries, fruit, Italian specialties, and made-to-order options, all enjoyed on a terrace with sweeping views… the perfect start to each day. Evenings at the hotel feel like a scene from a classic Italian film
It was here that I was able to perfect the art of sitting at a table and enjoying a meal for 3 hours - a very foreign concept for this American who works 120 hours a week and eats every meal at a desk
From the moment you walk through the gates, the property feels like a private, elegant estate perched above the sea — lush gardens, citrus trees, manicured pathways, and a timeless sense of charm
Our dinner at La’ Orangerie, by the pool, was outstanding! Each serving was fresh, full of flavor and creative
