really good staff, very helpful
Clean. Check in and check out was straightforward. It was hard for me to get hot water from the shower or tap. Was given 2 bed sheets and pillow case. My room had toilet paper and hairdryer but no soap no towel. There was a plug/ outlet next to every bed. My room was quiet, the area is not noisy (but depends on fellow guests too). It is 10-15 mins walk to the train station to go to Naples. It is about...
Stayed in a double room for 2 nights and a 6-person female room for 1 night. The double room is not big, but the 6-person room has more room for activities. Both beds are very comfortable, the place is clean, and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is included, which is rich and delicious, but it's a pity that it's served a little late. If you are in a hurry to visit the attractions, you can't wait...
This is the worst youth hostel in Europe that I have ever stayed in. I don't recommend you to choose this hotel at all. First of all, the hotel is very old and unclean. The bathroom is full of rust wherever it touches stainless steel, which makes people feel dirty. The shower head sprays everywhere except on the body. Second, there are no curtains around the bed, so there is no privacy at all. The...
This is a fairly new, standard hostel. The downside is that there are no bed curtains, and there are very few places to eat nearby; you have to walk ten minutes to eat near the train station.
I stayed in a women-only dormitory.
The ceiling on the bottom bunk was so low that it was a bit cramped even for a petite person like me, but it was clean.
It was also nice that there was a locker in the room.
However, the lock on the dormitory door was broken and you couldn't open it at all unless you got the hang of it.
Everyone in the same room was having trouble with it, so we often had to knock...

Nice hostel with a small but well furnished kitchen and common area and lots of space. Large shared bathroom facilities are kept pretty clean. It is a 10 minute walk to the train station, and then a train ride away from the city center, but there is a very nice morning market daily right outside the hostel with lots of great local food and products. Fair price for what you get.
I recently stayed at this hostel and wanted to share my experience. While it had its ups and downs, overall, it provided decent value for the price.
The bathrooms were old, rusty, and not well-maintained. They could definitely use some improvement and were not inviting.
On the positive side, the beds were comfortable, and there were additional amenities like a pool table that added to the fun atmosphere...
Better late than never-
I stayed here with my girlfriend over the summer and there were definitely problems. No where in Europe was ready for the heat, but what made this hostel shine is the staff.
Special shout-out to Luigi for taking amazing care of me when the heat got the best of me.
Buy this man a beer and ask him how he is doing for me!
Don't expect anything for 15€ a night. Also there are some dodgy people staying here.
No AC, just fans. The toilets in the Hostel don't have seats and you can't close the doors. You will need to use the toilets outside. The showers are ok.
Staff is also ok i guess. The lady was really friendly.
The best hostel!!!
Chill, beautiful place, full of love, everything’s clean, the rooms are nice, cozy kitchen and terrasse. Felt at home there.
All the people we’ve met were amazing.
Solo traveler? Go there and you will find friends!
Love on Luigi the new receptionist!
❤️❤️❤️
The Miranda family
The rooms and the bathrooms are not the fanciest, but that is not what this hostel is for. The price is very reasonable and it is perfect if you don’t want to spend a whole bunch of money. On the reception they were all extremely friendly and very helpful. You can ask for anything and they also help you with getting taxis or just navigating through the city. We could also meet with very cool people...

Amazing experience! Great rooms, staff, and people to meet! Needed to boom an extra night and did it through their website which was much easier and cheaper, highly recommend doing!
Marco is a great manager and very helpful.. Great location, super kind staff, and solid value for the price. Would definitely stay here again.
Clean, comfortable and friendly staff! Convenient location just beside the metro… I had an excellent time and met the most amazing people! I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels around Europe gotta admit Youth Station Hostel has the best atmosphere…this was my 2nd time and can’t wait to come back again
Great experience. Rooms were clean and tidy. Cheaper to book through their official website for better rate. AC works great
Overall a very pleasant stay. Great location, clean room, friendly staffs! Definitely would stay there again. Convenient location just beside the metro (30 seconds walk)…..I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels around Europe gotta admit this one has the best atmosphere. Worth every penny!
Solo Travellers come here!! This hostel was the perfect way to comfortably experience everything Rome had to offer with an EXTREMELY social atmosphere. I had a 3 night stay and it bas a blast. There is always someone interesting to talk to and always something to do. One of the best I’ve stayed in, without a doubt. The staff were incredible, the location was good, it was cleaned every single day, had...

Not bad. You need to read the instructions on how to enter. There is a curfew, but you can leave the property at any time.
Safe and okay place to stay if you are planning to go to the stadium. The staff is friendly and it is located in a safe neighborhood. Of course if you are in a shared room do not expect too much privacy.
Given that I stayed there for almost a month between December 2022 and January 2023 because I was looking for a room/bed, it was practically my home away from home. Located 1.2 km from the San Siro Stadio exit of the purple metro line, it's on the sixth floor of a building. Ideal for those with no special needs and wanting to save money. Rooms range from 2 to 8 beds, there are 3 shared bathrooms, and...
Place was good and clean. Beds were clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Only problem is not allowed to come back to hotel after 12.30am, wish it was there as we wanted to explore nightlife.
It was such a very good experience for me (and for many other which I knew from those days of my stay), the staff are so much nice and welcoming and allso helpful, besides the rooms are spacious. They respect the space of the rooms by placing enough number of single beds in a room not to make the space very crowded and uncomfortable. It worth noting that I spent almost a month there and this experience...
This place is the best, cheap, clean, friendly service I would totally recommend it, especially if you are on a shopping spree and need to save as much as possible ;-)!!

The place is nice and I had a great time
No elevator, small restroom and not clean. No privacy with the beds. Did not clean room every day. Had to pay extra for bedsheets. 5 min walk from train and bus station
You can meet interesting people here. If you’re lucky with your neighbors - you can rest here at night as well.
Great Hostel in a pretty good location, it is right next to the metro
However it is hard to sleep past 8 in the summer because it gets very hot in the rooms
Was a cheap hostel, the staff in there were super friendly to me even without speaking Italian. Had a whole kitchen and fridge plus freezer to use and free wifi
Staff was good and helpful. They guided us where to visit in Milan and how to go .Rooms were very tidy .Only thing to consider is check-in time that confirm your time with hostel before booking.

i saw some bugs in toilet 😭😭😭
The room is actually better than it looks in the pictures; it's different from what's shown.
Very clean and very accomodating.
The room was clean. We didn't spend much time in it, but we were pleasantly surprised that there was a radiator that actually heated the room, which is quite rare nowadays 😁. It was very warm.
The bathroom and toilet were clean; the women's bathroom was very spacious 😁😁😁.
The manager was very friendly, and we were surprised that he spoke Ukrainian, although we mainly communicated in Spanish.

Very near the station, is convenient for early birds catching the first train like us.
Perfect for short stays, quiet and not crowd at all I love it. Better than It's look in photo. A bit old but vibes are great.

The place is peaceful and lovely. The sisters are very friendly, patient, helpful. The rooms are large, well air conditioned, and replenished with fresh towels daily. The city connections are great. The tram is only a few steps away. Sublime
Good location in a cool area. Quiet and friendly with helpful staff. Nice garden area but was communal which I had not been aware of prior to arrival. Rooms were comfortable with a fan but would benefit from some sort of curtains or makeshift barriers to block lighting between beds for night-time. Beds also were not sturdy and creaked a lot, disturbing sleep. Communal bathroom was smelly and dirty
Very very nice hostel for women. Perfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. I was a solo traveller, felt right at home and could visit all tourist attraction via walking.
This hostel is part of what I understand is a community for women. So there are other events happening here. I attended a play happening in the evening I was there. Very beautiful.

We really enjoyed staying here! The staff was very kind and accommodating. My bed was comfy, room was clean and large, I felt very safe, and the showers and bathrooms were nice! I would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Rome on a budget.
I spent there 5 nights. It was peaceful. There is a heating system, showers and hot water. I see that the place ( esp toilets) could be more clean and it needs renovation. There are two rooms separated by a 3/4 wall so it was a bit noisy. The staff are nice and helpful. The guests ladies are very nice, and the place is very safe! It is a good place to stay if one is visiting Rome for a few days.
Was a beautiful place to stay in old Rome. They are a non profit organization that helps aspiring female artists and women in need (something to that extent). It is also a women's only hostel, sorry guys. I felt very safe here and It was very clean. Beautiful, delicious cafe with very authentic food in the center of the complex where the hostel is located. During our stay they had nightly performances...

We stayed at Rome Experience after a long day of cycling and were really pleasantly surprised. The little courtyard for storing our bikes was perfect, the location was super easy to find, and the receptionist was genuinely lovely and so helpful. The room, toilet and shower were all clean and totally great for a hostel. Honestly, nothing to complain about — a solid 5-star hostel stay. Very happy overall
It's fairly bare bones kinda place. There is a nice rooftop hangout spot. The bunk rooms are very basic. The power outlets are scarce, not good ventilation and crowded. No fan or AC, and lots of traffic noise, which is actually a blessing. Bathroom are barely adequate. Great location if you want to catch an early train. Convenience store and dinning very close. It does the job, but aint the...
Very hospitable people. They do late check-in and te rooms are very tidy and clean. The washrooms are well maintained and the building has air-conditioning.
Good and quiet hostel, I've been to worse and better. The people are really nice, and I would especially like to thank Kleber at the reception for helping me with everything I needed. If I were to suggest something for the hostel, it would be to put at least one fan in each room, provide individual safes to store your belongings and also plugs in each bed Plugs, in my experience, are pretty sparse...
It was good, booked very last minute, the day before arriving Rome, and it was a very reasonable price for the last minute. The pictures are not as shown, but it’s still a good opportunity, has a bed and the people you share the room with are also in the same position as you are, so it’s not as unbearable as you might think.
Klever was one of the staff I met and very kind and nice.
If your like me...
I appreciate the staff and the energy of this hostel. This place really grew on me. You can walk 2km and Colosseum is there as well as the view from just toilet or terrace is very beautiful. You just have to walk around and discover this part of Rome. I would recommend Materia cafe that is 8min walk away from here.

The price wasnt bad at all considering the fiera was on and the staff were super friendly. Im normally not a fan of hostels but it felt safe.
Really Good Vibe, Live concerts, DJ set , social dinner and Big Bar for meet a lot of Peple from all around the world
Great hostel, social atmosphere and coordinated events and specials even in the off season. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Breakfast is hit or miss.
Good social hostel, close to beach and local transport with good staff. Only issue is the price.
Is a good place if you want to meet new people, there are many things that can be improved.
But the staff's service was 10/10. Special mention to Jhon, Elsa, and Fernando. They are very nice people and very professional.
Excellent, two things could be improved.
I spent two days at this property, and it's in an excellent location. I booked a room for six people. Space was a bit tight, especially when getting in and out.
This property also has a private pool, but it lacks a shower or a fountain to clean off the sand.
Overall, we had a good time.

The place is very nice but not very convenient...only bathroom female or male are shared, far from the bedroom.
Not even a microwave in the kitchen, no paper towels, very old items too cook...
It's very cold in winter since common places are always opened by window, but you can warm the bedrooms.
The only negative imI would say is that the rooms can be very cold in winter. Luckily I came prepared. But other than that, it provided what I wanted...a clean room and a place to take a shower. The water in particular was pretty good. Some places, water takes a long time to heat, but not here.
I love this hostel! The beds are SO COMFY the rooms are so clean and the whole place is really nice and comfortable. The staff is so so kind. Decent kitchen, great common area to hang out, nice clean bathrooms. And again the beds are so comfy and huge. Everything feels very new and nice. This is my favorite hostel in Italy for sure.

Rooms very clean with large beds but very simple. Bathroom NOT IN THE ROOM. Warning! You need a lock for the locker. If you don't have any of yours, you can buy it wtmith 3 euro from the reception.
Money for the value = EXPENSIVE
I stayed here only 2 days and I wish I stayed longer - they have GREAT AC in the rooms, which is much needed in the Sicilian heat 😅 fantastic morning coffe, very helpful and kind staff and the kitchen is nice and big. It's a lofty space which is very nice! And their bathrooms are very practical. Will definitely be back!

Great place to stay, views amazing. Friendly staff.
The cleanliness and amenities were comparable to a regular hostel. There was no place to put things in the shower room, which was a bit of a problem, but you could put things on top of the heater in the shower room at the very back on the second floor. They also provided drink tickets, which was nice, but beer wasn't included. 😂
The view from the room was amazing!
Great vibe, and great value! It is in front of the lake. I had an adventure before I arrive there as was late storms and no transport. But managed it. It is clean. Plenty of toilets and showers. I considered that hostel is my home ,, i would thanks to the receptionist as she is friendly and humble .. if i will go to milan again,, i will stay here

I had a great stay at Madama Hostel & Bistrot during the Olympic Games. The hostel has good facilities, creative decoration and nice vibe in common areas in the bistrot. Especially I recommend Saturday night karaoke. The staff is very welcoming. They even found and returned money that I had accidentally lost, so big thanks for that!

I stayed in a private room with a shared bath. The room was newly renovated and very clean. The bathroom and kitchen were always clean. Recycling receptacles were available. It's a cozy and nice hostel with only one room for 4 people. Since there are few guests, the draw was good and I got some good people. I think I'll go there next time I stay in Rome.
I am definitely coming back to stay in this property if I am in Rome.
Good location, charging port next to bed didn’t work but they had many charging areas that were away from the bed. Not sure where to get new clean towels

It’s very safe here with an excellent access control system. Mike is really nice, professional and highly experienced. You can always go to him if you have any issues. Highly recommended.
The place is cleaned very regularly and thoroughly. The terrace has a great view — I even cooked there. Everything is convenient. Thank you!
I had an amazing stay at Hostel Castello Maggione in Rome truly a 5-star experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. They were friendly, helpful, and always ready with great tips about the city.
The location is perfect close to major attractions and well connected by public transport, making it super easy to explore Rome. The atmosphere in the hostel is relaxed...
It's a small inn with only a few rooms. The owner, Mike, is very kind. However, the kitchen and corners of the rooms are a bit dusty, so I think it would be even better if they could improve that.
The host was very kind and friendly, always smiling and welcoming, and always willing to help me with any questions or requests. I am very grateful.
The room was cleaned daily by staff and kept tidy.
The room is centrally located, making it very convenient to get to tourist attractions.
I checked out at 11 am but left my luggage until 3:30 pm. This is a huge plus.
Very clean!
Would be even better if the windows could be fitted with some soundproofing strips.
If the quality is not high and the budget is limited, you can live there. There is no key or access card after check-in. The landlord Mike is very nice. If you trust him and you can put large luggage in the room.

Central Hostal Milano was the 8th hostel I stayed at during my 24-day Europe tour. While it offered a quiet and comfortable stay overall, the check-in process was unnecessarily inconvenient.
